For anyone following along at home on their own N95s, the Scarabs are at the following timestamps 12:25 16:34 26:10 33:14 41:34 46:30 49:37 1:07:50 1:22:21 1:48:22 2:06:15 2:16:15 Thank you very much for this video, not only did I experience one of the most obscure MGS games out but it also helped me (mostly) 100% it! Just need to get those last few achievements
I own EVERY game in the series... including integral and the weird spinoffs. Except survive. Ugh I will sadly never play this. Thank u for allowing me to experience this.
Thanks for posting this online! I've wanted to see this game for years but the only ones online weren't in English. You did a very detailed playthrough. I liked that you left no stone unturned and used the codac so I could actually get the most of this game story. The story/gameplay in this game was a lot better then I expected from a mobile. Does taking photos with your N-gage phone camera actually change Snakes suit? If so does that still work/work well?
I am glad you liked the playthrough. For a mobile game of its time it was very deep in my opinion. Taking photos with the phone camera does turn Snake's suit different colors depending on the color of what is being taken. This setting can be turned on and off so that you can take pictures within the game environment itself without the use of the actual camera. For the playthrough I turned the camera off, but from my experience the camera works pretty well in well lit areas.
Playing on a phone. The one I used to record and play the game is a Nokia N95 8GB. There are no emulators for Ngage 2.0 games, must be played on original hardware.
Wish this was on new mobile devices too or I just wish for a new metal gear mobile with story mode and a COD like co-op/multiplayer mode with character customization and stuff and skins. Also idk why this amazing mobile game was lost for 16 years it had good Nintendo DS graphics. Wish the PsVita and Nintendo3DS had their own metal gear games. The only thing I didn’t like about this game is that there were no voice lines like voice acting but at least it had cutscenes
@@AfroRyan its only for symbian dude.... (nokia n series) Try out the mobile version 94.5 MB (Episode 2 : a remake by david amado, compressed for android)
Hey man. Its me again. I know its been a while but if the offer still stands to help install the game onto the phone, I could use your help and everything :)
Hey there. I just wanted to say a huge thanks for uploading this because I never got around to play it. :) Also... is there any way possible to emulate it or any other way to play it? Thanks!
Stud33Heisman Hey man I'm also trying to emulate the game and I think I may have found a workaround if I find a .jar file of the game. If you happen to have it in that form and not .ngage send me a PM on RUclips and I'll give you my e-mail. I'd rather not put my address out for tons to see. Thanks in advance, Greencapps. PS a .jad file will work too.
Right now there is an emulator called EKA2L1 that can be use to play n gage games...but its still not a perfect emulator but you can try check it out on play store
Can’t play on PC because no emulator for Ngage 2.0 games exists. While it’s not a 100% guarantee, your phone should be able to play this game if you know how to install it properly, which can be more complicated than it sounds.
Can you message me? I have a question regarding this game. I got a copy of it installed on my phone from a guy on Ebay. I think it was you. I have a question regarding it if you'll please let me know
Unfortunately N-Gage and N-Gage 2.0 games cannot be emulated through PC... they can only be played on original hardware (i.e. compatible phones). Original N-Gage games were played on a taco-looking phone with cartridges, and N-Gage 2.0 was an application that was compatible on certain Nokia smartphones and games played through it could only be downloaded through the N-Gage 2.0 service, which no longer exists. Metal Gear Solid Mobile was a 2.0 game. In order to play it, you will first need to obtain a compatible phone. After that there are multiple/various steps to the process and it all depends on the model of the specific phone. I hope this info was somewhat helpful
Christ, a 3 hour full 3D MGS phone game in 2008. The ambition is impressive...

Even if this game wasn't great or flew under the radar, it's still extremely impressive.

thank you a lot for this Walkthrough !!! it's a real Life saver 😉
Am I the only one who thinks this would have been great on the ds?
when you realize these days phones don’t have MGS
Anyway have an idea how to play this without Ngage?
I love how Ocelot/ Liquid apparently "sold" metal gear parts on the black market hahaha. That's so unlike them.
The clones were the perfect excuse to create Arsenal Gear and GW.
Wasn’t that Skull Face’s plan? Then he would be able to detonate the metal gears whenever he wanted
Ocelot made the designs public. He didn't sell them. That's canon.
what are the controls in this game?
Are you playing this on an emulator or an actual phone ?
Playing on a phone. The one I used to record and play the game is a Nokia N95 8GB. There are no emulators for Ngage 2.0 games, must be played on original hardware.
Thanks,
Where can i download it currently? And for which cell phones is it compatible?
Phones that are compatible:
Nokia N Gage
And other old Nokia phones
This is absolutely impressive for Java
It's not Java, it's N-Gage

If There Was A Way To Play This On Pc Or My Nokia N97

you know how to get a copy of this game? I'm thinking of getting it on my birthday
is this a remake of the original
Yes. Here is link if interested: www.ebay.com/itm/281391430324?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
MGS Mobile is not a remake. Its story takes place between MGS1 and MGS2
Thanks
I saw this link before, My dad actually thought it was a scam. Thanks for clearing that up!

May I ask how were you able to play this?
Sometimes you can find phones with the game downloaded onto them through eBay
Stud33Heisman I saw that before and it’s crazy expensive 😅 is there a way to emulate?
