lemme just get real me for a sec The IJN Yamato of The Yamato-class Super Battleship is the largest and one of the strongest battleship class the world have ever seen... even with all this might and power she still sank... not peacefully though... when she was ordered with 10 or so other escorts to a kamikaze operation she knew that she would die at least honourably... but she didn't know that she wouldn't even reach near the operation point... when she is sailing with her escort near Kyushu islands she spots a group of warplanes going toward her and because of it's sudden appearance she couldn't adjust her AAs and shoot down any warplanes and as her main guns is slow and heavy to shoot the AA shell the warplanes dropped bombs, strafes the deck, dropped torpedoes and other stuff without getting shot down much... and then she knew that she is doomed to sink. after a few other air raids she was finally battered and beaten down enough that she is slowed down to the point of basically being a sitting duck... and so when the last air raid happens she asked herself this "did everything I do helped mother(Japan) in conquering the seas?" and then she replied to her question "maybe... and maybe not.. but I now am free to be with my brethren and sisters" and as she answers her question she slowly list to her inevitable death... she remembers the time she had with her sister Musashi and she wanted to know what her other sisters are doing but she cannot.. and as she fully capsized, her ammunition exploded and her mother(Japan) saw this and cried that she cannot do the best for her child ... .. . after a long time the wreck of the IJN Yamato was brought up to the surface and is rebuilt to her former glory and as that is happening Yamato thinks about what will happen to her "will I be a museum ship like older sister Mikasa or will I be sunk again for I to be rested forever?" and after a ceremony she finally knows what her fate is... she will rest at the bottom of the ocean with ease and calmness... she will rest there forever until her mother needs her again as a warship, a museum ship or something else. ... .. . in the age of space exploration humanity has long gone forgotten the history of the Imperial Japan... it isn't actually gone but only not remembered much. but as humanity made a grave mistake they're beaten down to their knees and they hold on to the few strings they have left... and as the last string nearly broke a new rope was seen and it near but yet far. the old wreckage of the IJN Yamato is now used as a cover up for an escape ship "mother and the others need me to transport the last remainders of humanity to a distant and far away place that'll keep humanity safe from any threats... as my last second launch I will gladly take this mission and I will keep humanity safe and not let mother be disappointed!" as she thought about that she received a new order... an order that is almost impossible but Yamato knew the word impossible more than most people the order is to bring humanity to the planet Iscandar and receive a package to revive humanity to a better state. and Yamato gladly take that offer and she will for the first time finish her job as the lead ship of the Yamato-class super battleship as a new non tested weapon is mounted into her bow she asked herself "will I actually be able to this mission and not sink like I did in 1944(or 45)? no! I shouldn't think like that! yes I should think like I always do!!" ... .. . her launch and her first warp was a bit choppy but it was fine and when she first fired her Wave Motion Gun she saw her true potential as the lead ship of the new Yamato-class space battleship. she now vow that she will not surrender nor die until humanity forgets her or humanity finally set her down into the abyss for good and so she pushed on even harder toward the place called Iscandar ... .. . after almost a year of fighting to the near end she finally saw Earth... she started her engine up again and set to turn Earth into it's previous glory and as she does that she thought "I guess I will have more legends than I first think I could've had" as she said that she chuckles and smiles truly for the first time in centuries

I feel the only way to honor the series is to build the Yamato in real life, if the rest of the world will allow Japan to build the battleship(pretty sure its constitution outlaws the construction of battleships)
I actually ran the numbers on building a Modern version (functional) of SHB (Super Heavy Battleship) IJN (Imperial Japanese Navy) Yamato. It’s current build price would be somewhere in the 2 Billion Dollar range at current construction costs, finding a decent shipyard to do it, and using appropriate materials to ensure structural stability outside of Dry Dock. This is without modernizing the main armaments to modern munitions, nor the additional bells and whistles of the Space Battleship SHB IJN Yamato, which would require Heavy airlock levels of hull security, a flight launch and retrieval deck INSIDE the bottom of the Hull in several locations, and additional shaping to add the “Wave motion Gun” into the front of the Hull, with other failsafes to prevent the ship’s disintegration going into orbit; as we do not have energy shield technology suitable enough to allow atmo flight off planet. Although, if anyone could crack wave jump tech it would be America or Japan. Hell knows it would be cool to make it functional. Although, if we kept it in Dry Dock, it wouldn’t need to be nearly as structurally sound or armored. Just selectively well armored in spots for crowd viewing and tourist.
and Shinano(though she is an aircraft carrier) and if you want some higher caliber Yamato why not add in Shikishima and Yashima? **laughs in 20.1inch main guns**
well yes but I still prefer the IJN Yamato's design over the SBB Yamato... it has that unique and antique look with an elegant style that you can see on Japanese capital ships such as the Nagato or... uhh... who is it again? idk anyway you get the point
Actually, if Ship Genealogy is correct, Yamato is Autumn's Great Great Great Great Great (other 21 "Great") Great Grandmother... Yamato was born in 1937, while Pillar of Autumn was born around 2510, around 580 years later.
Hearing the Yamato theme slowed down made me realize how powerful it is. Very emotional as it is but slowed down a little .... wow

Pretty sure if it's just for display or exhibit it should be okay.
The original or the Space battleship Yamato?
@@weregarurumon3202 The Space Battleship Yamato
@@Sierra-208 yes
Just selectively well armored in spots for crowd viewing and tourist.
e pensar que cresce vendo isso na tv manchete
if only captain okita and admiral domel are still alive, i don't think gantlatis and black nebula empire would stand a chance
Okita and Domel on the same side? The war would have ended in a couple days.

show the space battleship ginga.
yes she's a Yamato class but no Yamato class is complete without Mushashi
and Shinano(though she is an aircraft carrier)
and if you want some higher caliber Yamato why not add in Shikishima and Yashima? **laughs in 20.1inch main guns**
A hundred times stronger than the real yamato
well yes but I still prefer the IJN Yamato's design over the SBB Yamato... it has that unique and antique look with an elegant style that you can see on Japanese capital ships such as the Nagato or... uhh... who is it again? idk anyway you get the point
Doesn’t my profile pic remind you of this amazing vid?

The Pillar of Autumn officially has a sister.
Actually, if Ship Genealogy is correct, Yamato is Autumn's Great Great Great Great Great (other 21 "Great") Great Grandmother... Yamato was born in 1937, while Pillar of Autumn was born around 2510, around 580 years later.
