    Hey man. I just wanna let you know that I’ve been watching your videos since you started, and you, by a long shot, have the best RUclips channel for tech stuff on race cars. Keep doin what your doing and I guarantee your channel will get huge. I’ve learned so much from you. And you helped me set up my boost ramp the proper way on my Holley that I couldn’t seem to figure out from anyone else.

    Congratulations john, i think you hit the point in your youtube career/ channel where the trolls who don't have a bicycle let alone a racecar, start to give you racing advice and tell you what you have to do on your channel. I think you made it buddy! 😄

    I don't see an issue with fixing the gate. It's a simple apparatus so fixing it is not a big deal. And if it does stick again you have boost safeties for that reason

    everybody in the comments telling you to throw them away and that its gonna cost you a motor they prolly don't have racecars or they have money to blow. all wastegates work the same way so if he can fix the one he has and make it work there is nothing wrong with that because if its fixed its gonna work the same way as the most exspensive. Plus he has a Holley that has overboost protection.

  • @Kincentc

    Lots of comments about buying a new wastegate to save an engine. A fair point but the Holley ECU is a very reliable Fail-Safe. I'd trust a 2000 dollar computer over a 300 dollar wastegate

    • @Kincentc
      @Kincentc 5 лет назад

      @Paul Wilson because that computer has the fail-safes for a reason. Price on the gate is really a moot point... you could have a five thousand dollar wastegate on there, and, if it hangs, it's still not gonna cut the fuel and spark like an ECM will. Not to mention it does it INSTANTLY.

    • @Kincentc
      @Kincentc 5 лет назад

      @Paul Wilson thats like.... Your opinion man. I think it's absurd you'd trust a mechanical part, which could stick at any time, no matter the brand, over a computer that is constantly monitoring the state of every component you allow it to monitor. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • @Kincentc
      @Kincentc 5 лет назад +1

      @Paul Wilson do some looking around. Let me know how many cases you find of a holley dominator "glitching" on its own, and not from someone letting a wire rest on a header and burn in two.
