Pau was awarded best Rock drummer of 2023 by the Drumeo awards and in the same year she also was voted best up and coming drummer by Modern drummer magazine.
If you want to see an early concert of theirs try the Liceo de Monterrey show. It was in 2015 at their school. They did it to submit to the Berklee College of Music to show them their skill level, since 2 of them were too young for their Summer Program. They had recorded an EP called Escape The Mind and play those plus 4 covers.
The Warning always acknowledges Alessia as part of the song with Dany mentioning her in the intro before they sing the song. Dany is playing the Gibson Explorer that Lzzy Hale gave her as a gift in recognition of her skills with the guitar.
Their passion for music and their energy live is incredible. Thanks for the great reaction.
The biggest difference between this and the official studio version is that Dany sings the 1st verse instead of Alessia, though you can still hear Alessia’s high background “whoa, oh, oh ,ohs” on the backing track. Yes, you definitely need to see them live! 😎👍
This is my favourite version of them by far. Dany's voice elevate the song to a whole other level!
The only time Alessia ever appeared with The Warning in person was a show they did at the Troubadour in Los Angeles in May 2022.
The girls are so good live. Seen then 7 times and they never dissapointed. If you can go-do it!!!!!

Dany outstanding with vocals and guitar work and Ale as ever a cool customer.
The Warning is a live band. Every song from their albums is always better live. It's hit live always harder and is more rock. Dany's voice is live is so beautifully dirty. Studio takes all this because they clean everything up. The rest that makes live better is the audience and the stage presence.
You've missed a lot if you've only listened to the studio versions.
The Warning will be touring Canada later this year, with Halestorm and Evanescence. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥

*#2):* It was Alessia Cara Metallica originally asked to participate on The Blacklist album. A man who works for Alessia Cara also works for The Warning. He suggested both acts collaborate. When Metallica approved. The Warning had 7 to 10 days deadline to submit a version of Enter Sandman.
*#3):* The Warning does not play Enter Sandman anymore. It's been dropped from the setlist in favor of newer songs.

alessia is still there in this performance, just as the chorus, instead of the opening vocals, for the record. and alessia is the one who was originally contacted by metallica, as i've heard the story. it was the fact that they shared management that got the warning involved.
this is not to take anything away from either the warning or alessia: together, they created something magical.
i'd call it not a cover: i'd call it a re-imagining of the song. this version starts where metallica's ends, if you listen carefully.
their version in 2014 was definitely a cover. this one is not.

DPA/TW and Alessia Cara certainly understood the assignment!
Alessia Cara is a Grammy winning Canadian Pop and R&B singer... they had 10 days to rip this rendition of *Enter Sandman* from the ether and make it a darker, more eerie, and a more haunting lullaby than the original metal version... this was done because they, and many other artists from numerous genres, were invited by Metallica to take one of the songs from the original "Black" album, keep the lyrics and change it up how ever you like... play it backwards, upside down, whatever... this was all for the 30th anniversary of the "Black" album... all the submissions from 50someodd artists were put on the 2021 "The Metallica Blacklist" album... the proceeds from the album sales are split 50/50 with half going to Metallica's "All Within My Hands Foundation" and the other half being donated to a charity of the participating artists' choice.
in the OMV, Dany (guitar) and Alessia share the lead vocals until they are in the three doorways when Dany takes over and Alessia does more of the background oooohs and aaaahs... the version they play in concert has Dany doing the vocals with a backing track of Alessia's ohhhs and ahhhs... of course Ale (bass) and Pau (drums) join in with their angelic harmonies in both... this is a fantastic reimagining of the iconic original... this 60+ year old rocker loves both versions of *Enter Sandman* but this one by TW and Alessia gets more airtime these days 😹

Their age is easy to calculate: Dany was born in 2000, Pau is two years younger, Ale another three. The video is from 2022, when Ale was 17.
Fun facts: The video is cut from two concerts. This is most clearly seen in Dany's microphone. There are two sets of picks.
They changed clothes during the concert. In the first half they wore black costumes, then white. To have time to change, Breath played as backing tracks. The audience knew what to do.

You are misinformed at best. Alessia Cara is on a backing track for this performance. Furthermore, she did not mention Metallica nor Iron Maiden when she described her influences thus: "When I was young, I really loved the Black-Eyed Peas and The Gorillas and bands like that. And then as I got older, I discovered Amy Winehouse and Lauryn Hill and older singers like Etta James. I gravitated towards a lot of young women who just played guitar and had great voices and wanted to emulate them in whatever I did, so they really inspired me."

You failed at being respectful
Never said I did not know them at all. I literally said in my reaction that I have been a fan of them since the Enter Sandman cover with Alessia Cara. Before that cover came out, no I had not heard of them before. Maybe because this is not my typical scene. I am a metal music enthusiast that loves deathcore and metalcore mainly. Just because YOU have known them all along DOES NOT mean I or anyone else has. We all discover music at our own pace! I have gone back and listened to ALL of their studio releases when I discovered The Warning. The only stuff I have yet to discover is the stuff they made as kids and live shows. As I said, my only experience with them live is the MTV awards performances otherwise I had no clue what they were like live. And actually I am thankful I didn't spoil EVERYTHING from The Warning for me cause that would mean I would have no Warning content to react to now. This channel is only a few months old so there are no reactions to old studio stuff as I was not reacting then. I know how huge The Warning is now and regret not finding them sooner but I am here now. Just be thankful and welcome people into the fanbase instead of being rude and stuck up about it..

This whole concert is fantastic (Live At Teatro Metropolitan 08/29/2022). My favorite songs are: 23, Dust to Dust, Narcisista (all three sung by Paulina, the drummer!), Martirio, Animosity, Error, Kool Aid Kids
