Not gonna lie, but considering how a lot of people mistreated Peter in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movie trilogy, it was actually quite satisfying to see Peter (under the influence of the black symbiotic suit) stand up to those who gave him a hard time in the past, including Mary Jane, Harry Osborne, J. Jonah Jameson, and Peter's landlord as well too.
Peter’s Landlord was apologetic and a good guy, Harry learned the truth about his father’s death near the end, Peter, Mary Jane and Harry made peace and Jameson, well he realized that he may have been taking advantage of Peter by paying him the usual rate.

I will never let anyone say this movie was bad. It was very well written and the list of memes we got out of it was amazing.
It's certainly not bad it has too many excellent moments but the pacing is a bit off and Harry's memory loss is so convenient and I wish venom fighting Spiderman would have been cooler
That FACE when funky Pete flips his hair back and looks at Jameson like, "As if." And says he will take the staff job, double the money. Still no idea how he got the camera to snap pictures of him doing Spider-Man stuff though.
He usually has a way of webbing his camera nearby whenever he’s Spider-Man and having it set on a timer for capturing shots.

Just in case anyone doesn’t know this yet! The general feeling about this movie is great nowadays! People stopped pretending to hate it! Majority now love it! Not as good as Spiderman 2, but better than 1! Especially after No Way Home came out! I wish Andrew Garfield got his 3rd movie like Tobey and Tom tbh.
First of all, people didn't pretend to hate this movie, we just didn't understand how much of a goofy meme it was yet. Secondly, the first movie outclasses this legendary meme by miles.

That's not really fair though, Peter is superhuman whereas Norman and Harry are just regular people. They need their technology to stand a chance against Spiderman. Sure the goblin has enhances them a bit but this seems fair actually.

I think we really see the power of the Symbiote here in so many ways but we see another dynamic as well. When Peter fought Green Goblin Norman Osborn was not really a spring chicken but the serum he took did make him really strong but a younger person would likely be much more difficult to fight. Fast forward to Spider-Man 3 and we get JUST that, Harry being much younger takes the serum and along with his hatred is a much more dangerous Goblin and Peter struggles to beat him early in the film getting lucky that Harry cracked his noggin. However the rematch with Peter in the symbiote suit does win but Harry still puts up a respectable fight. Im not so sure Peter would have been able to beat him without the symbiote.
All that was Peter's real strength, his real personality was just holding him back but symbiote didn't it just changed his mindset not physically
