The symbolism in harry's death is amazing. Green goblin died by his own glider, trying to harm and kill Peter. Harry died by his own glider trying to save and protect Peter. Polar opposites yet also the same.
and probably gonna play a big role in no way home this december if you ask me. i would add that a version of spiderman, in venom, is what killed the good harry adding to that mirrored imagery you built. i would also add tha harry fro mcguire saved a falling MJ and harry from garfeild killed gwen by dropping her. again mirror imagery for harry

I just found out Spider-Man 3 was supposed to Sandman as the main villain and Harry Osborne is the new Goblin as a villain I would have loved to see Harry as the new Goblin but Avi Arad ruined it he interfered Sam put Venom in because if he wanted fans to like Spider-Man 3 even more put in our favorite but Sam doesn't know Venom but Avi Arad pushed him to do it Sam tried to make it work it didn't Sam was unhappy how he made Spider-Man 3 he chose not to make Spider-Man 4 2011 If Sam just had creative control with Spider-Man 3 like he did with the first and second it would have been awesome then Sam would have made Spider-Man 4 2011

Let’s be honest, this is the best and most intense, satisfying ending out of all the three movies
Hell when I was a teen I was on the edge of my seat by how intense it got, that's why I still love Spider-Man 3 regardless of the hate it got.

Spider- Man 3 is probably the most misunderstood film ever.
Spider-Man 3 I feel it's misunderstood because it just picks up with the plot of the first movie instead of doing something new or different like the second movie did. It also might be misunderstood because of the new characters, some of which came out of nowhere with little backstory, and the ones that do show up due to backstory are very underwhelming. I can agree to an extent about why it's hated, but I do think it's one of the better movies I've seen from Marvel. At least it's better than the other third movie released by DreamWorks the same year.

Actually people had that first opinion about The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Back when people had standards. Too man villains is a legit criticism for this film, especially when Sam Raimi wanted to use the Lizard but Sony forced him to use Venom and Sandman. Nowadays tho, superhero films are mostly just garbage besides the odd one that's great.
No matter how you feel about this movie, New Goblin knocking away Venom and teaming up with Spider-Man while Christopher Young’s great music is playing is badass.

Honestly I don’t even think this movie is that bad, it certainly has problems and pales in comparison to the first two but the acting (minus bully Maguire), direction, score and action scenes are great. Had they ended the movie with a cliffhanger teasing Venom for the next movie instead of shoehorning him into the third act that would have liked fixed 98% of the problems (I say 98% because we’d still have Bully Maguire)

I never noticed until today but when Peter separates Eddie from Venom and turns into its massive screaming monster self, Peter looks in horror while Eddie smiles in amazement. Really messed up that he heavily admired something so evil and dangerous.

Seeing Harry redeem his father's name and legacy as a hero is incredible.
This version of Venom was terrifying. Raimi's used his expertise in the horror genre very well on Venom's character.

Just rewatched it tonight. Man spiderman 3 is so good. Idk why it gets hate. Everytime I rewatch this trilogy I always say the same thing about 3. It's got a lot of heart and strong messages. Especially when I'm at times of conflict I always see this movie and it helps me understand. I always cry with this one too, Not the other ones although they're great but this one idk why. It's been, and perhaps always will be, my favorite Spider-Man movie. Shows the dangers of pride and the power of forgiveness.
Watching this movie an as an adult i never realized how dark it is, eddie wouldve literally rather died than let go of the symbiote. And also the fact he just stuck those tubes into cement is an insane show of strenght that enough people mention.
Harry's entrance was the equivalent to the portal scene in Endgame back then.
The silence, and then once you realize what's happening, it's an epic rush!
Imo its way better. To me bigges flaw of mcu is that there is so many heroes so always help is coming. Thats why i prefer heroes in their own worlds

9:30 A few things you may notice in this explosion:
1) Eddie Brock’s skeleton becomes visible just before it’s vaporized
2) There’s some kind of suction effect the bomb creates just before detonation. It’s apparently powerful enough to pull the metal bars inward before blasting out, implying that Norman designed the bombs to prevent targets from escaping.
Those who made this trilogy have impressive attention to detail.

This is by far the best final battle in the Tobey Maguire trilogy. If it wasn't for Harry showing up to assist Peter, he wouldn't have made it to No Way Home to assist Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man. I feel like they also won at a disadvantage because both Sandman and Venom are regenerative if in the right environment, and if Sandman hadn't realized why Spider-Man hated him so much, then they could've lost if Venom hadn't been defeated.

Something i always loved about this film was the unwavering brutality of @1:46, just watching Peter getting ruthlessly beaten while the city can only watch. And much like the reaction to his death in Spider-verse, the crushing weight is felt. People having to confront the fact that the only hero this world has known is not invincible and may actually die.

This whole scene just shows that no matter what happens even when you lose your way your true friends will always be there when needed. The trilogy started with all of them and ended with all of them

Spider-Man knew he can’t take on both Venom and Sandman by himself, so he asked Harry for help who refused at first, but then came to help him after finally learning the truth about what happened to his father and forgives Peter at the end. That’s what I like about this movie. It is so underrated.
The scene where peter saves mj and everyone starts clapping always gives me goosebumps
Unpopular opinion: Even though it wasn't the most comic accurate, and Eddie himself was certainly annoying, I like this version of Venom. The animal screeches and the way he moves are really alien and intimidating.

For anyone who didn’t catch or understand this. Peter’s spider sense doesn’t work on the symbiote because he bonded with it first. So his spider sense doesn’t see the symbiote as a threat. It’s why Peter couldn’t sense where Venom was at during the last fight where Peter was looking in all directions trying to see where Venom is. It happens in the comics as well. It’s one of the reasons why Venom is one of the deadliest villains of Spider-Man because peters Spider sense is useless against Venom.

Eddie's reasons are pretty good too, Peter Stole his girlfriend , ended his reputation and made him be fired , I can understand why hes a villain , and that for me is the good part of the movie and the good parts of this make this movie better than 99% of superhero movies.

Flash bullied pete just like how pete bullies Brock, is jobless, tries to cheat a wrestling match using superpowers, its similar to how Eddie got his job by faking photos. Then there comes a point where peter accepts responsibility for his actions&greed. Eddie takes no responsibility for his actions and wants to murder peter.

Still a good movie to watch after all these years.
I can't stress this enough but this spiderman trilogy made the best villains. Here we've seen 3 villains with the same goal which was to destroy spidey but ended totally three different ways. One who died a villain, one who died a hero and one who's been forgiven.

The studio forced Venom onto Raimi, who didn't want to use him at all- and it shows. This movie would have been much stronger with just having Sandman as the main villain, and just set up Venom for the fourth movie.
I would’ve preferred it if they had venom in this movie and then set up carnage for the next one, One can only dream of what Sam Raimi could’ve done with such a monstrous and heartless character like carnage

What I meant is that I would want this movie but also have a scene that builds up a sequel where Carnage is the villain, Bully Maguire would still exist
@@SpinosaurusStudios_ You misunderstand. You could still have the symbiote. Still have Bully Maguire. Still even have Brock. But what you do is show the symbiote being separated from Peter at the church, see it slink away... and then cut. Sandman is the final villain, and Harry and him still team up, Harry still dies, etc. But no Venom in that last scene- it's just Sandman. Then, as either a coda at the end of the movie, or as a post-credits scene (they weren't doing them back then, but it could have been a first), you go back to the scene at the church, but this time you see Brock enter the church, the symbiote drip onto him, and him becoming Venom. And you use THAT as a tease for the next film, which Sony had every intention of making.
The problem, though, is Raimi. He didn't like Venom, didn't want Venom, and the next movie's villain was going to be Vulture. So Sony would either have to talk him into using Venom instead, or find another director.

I like that, for just a couple of moments, it's like the entire Spider-Man thing stops and it suddenly becomes a very creepy horror scene where even Peter is afraid of the symbiote. It's like the movie is reminding you: ''Hey, this is STILL a very unnatural, creepy, disturbing alien creature in our human world, even a man with superpowers is afraid." Until Peter snaps out of it, but it's a very cool scary moment in an otherwise not so horror focused film, though I guess that's just Raimi's magic.
