I mean you gotta praise the acting at 4:32. The emotion and the voicecracks. The shouting and at the same time the unsecurity of the situation at 4:50, like what should Peter Parker feel and do? I always liked Tobey Maguires acting when it came to the subtle emotions. His eyes, for instance! He displays them really well.
This is why people consider Tobey Maguire the best Spider-Man. His emotions and dialogue and even his facial expressions are all so well delivered. Andrew and Tom are great but nobody will ever be a better Peter Parker than Tobey Maguire.

I never noticed that before, but right before Harry sweeps Spidey off his scooter, you see the spider sense kick in and his facial expression change. I'm not sure superhero movies will ever matter to me as much as these 3 Spiderman movies.
What I love about this fight is over how EXPERIENCED Peter is over Harry just starting his first bout with him. Give credit though Harry was able to surprise Peter with his surprise tactics and some of his gear but Peters fought the green goblin plenty of times to know how Harry’s gonna fight. Christopher Young is an underrated master.

Peter could have ended Harry's life at any moment in their second fight but he didn't, he only scarred him badly. Propably deep down he still cared for him even though his hatred fueled the symbiote to influence him negativitely.

Honestly tobey always had the best fight scenes. One of the biggest differences between his and Toms spidey is that he’s so coordinated in his attacks at this point in his spidey career even though he got caught off guard and he ate all those punches he still bounced back

He doesn’t even really need that to easily destroy Harry. Here it’s evident he wasn’t trying, and was mainly focused on the ring.
Peter could have ended Harry's life at any moment in their second fight but he didn't, he only scarred him badly.
Propably deep down he still cared for him even though his hatred fueled the symbiote to influence him negativitely.
Peter could of ended this fight at anytime he wanted too. He was playing defensive and not really trying and only started to try once he lost the ring.

Honestly tobey always had the best fight scenes. One of the biggest differences between his and Toms spidey is that he’s so coordinated in his attacks at this point in his spidey career even though he got caught off guard and he ate all those punches he still bounced back

Do you see how efficient peter is at taking down serious threats. I was actually hoping there to be a highlight scene to showcase his brute strength and strategic brilliance and there actually was a scene where he fights goblin. Alas it was cut but a youtuber has actually restored it
