It took me thirteen years to realize the duality at play in this scene: When Peter is at his lowest point, he recognizes what he's done and takes steps to make things right. When Eddie is at his lowest point, he refuses to accept what he's done and wants to hurt other people. Peter goes to a church to take the first steps to redemption and ultimately gets it. Eddie goes to a church seeking revenge and is ultimately destroyed. The symbiote corrupted Peter, but because he is, at his core, a good person, he managed to break free. Because Eddie is, at his core, is a selfish, cruel person, the symbiote utterly corrupted him and led to his death. Spider-Man 3 is a lot smarter than many people think.
I really love how they portray Peter tried to fight against the evil that corrupted him while Eddie accept the new power that came from the evil as a way to get revenge
Spider-Man 3 isn't necesarily a bad movie, it's just..... unfocused is what I'd call it. It's been said before but they tried to juggle too many plots at the same time, Venom, Harry as the second Green Goblin and Sandman all crammed in 2 and a half hours. (Wow, that's actually longer than expected.) Had they just focused on only adapting the Black Suit/Venom Saga, I imagine it could've been the best in the trilogy. Or maybe even franchise, as there would've been a Spider-Man 4 and maybe 5 in which they could've done the other two stories. They could've explored where the symbiote came from, (I don't think it ever happens in the movie, does it? I vaguely recall a scene where Peter has the symbiote examined by Dr. Connors but that might not be this movie.) How the city responded to their hero suddenly wearing all-black, how even before the symbiote, Eddie got screwed over by Peter, even if unintentionally. I think the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon did that last thing very well.
@@LexCrafttoons Its in this movie. Doctor Connors only really explains that it needed a host to bind with and that he wonders where Peter got it from. Also hi,,
Actually no. The symbiote didn't corrupt Spiderman. Spiderman corrupted the symbiote. You have to understand. Symbiotes, in nature, are creatures that require another species to survive, but also offer something in return. A remora is a type of symbiote, for example - it's a fish that latches onto the bellies of sharks, and eats the parasites in their skin. The shark has to lug this smaller fish around for a bit, but it's worth it because the remora keeps it healthy. And it's no coincidence that Marvel chose to give the name 'symbiote' to the alien that infected Peter and Eddie. The Venom Symbiote is an alien. It does not understand human morality. When it bonded with Peter, it's first exposure to the human way of thinking and interacting was entirely through Peter's eyes. The thing is, Peter Parker isn't a normal human. He's a mess. He lives two lives - one where he is a hero who goes around saving the city, and the other where he is a reclusive nerd who is bullied and mocked on a regular basis. He allows himself to be bullied and mocked because he doesn't want to abuse his powers or draw attention to himself, but at the same time he resents the way he is treated. At the same time he also takes pride in his role as a hero, but he resents how certain parts of the city are determined to slander him by portraying him as a villain or a dangerous vigilante. So the symbiote looks at this and is confused. It doesn't make sense. But it's still a symbiote, and since Peter is keeping it alive, it wants to help Peter in return. So it tries to find ways to make Peter more successful and happy. Unfortunately, a lot of the successful and happy people in Peter's life and the city as a whole are assholes, so there aren't many positive examples to go off of. The symbiote sees all these confident, assertive dickbags going through life finding success, love, and money, and decides that the best way for Peter to succeed is to come out of his shell, stop being modest, and emulate them. It doesn't understand how this behaviour is immoral or obnoxious - it assumes that it's just the norm for humans. Spiderman eventually notices the effect the symbiote is having on him, and decides he doesn't want it. So, he tries to kill it. And how does he try to kill it? In the most painful way possible - exposing it to its primary weakness. Look at it from the symbiote's perspective: you've spent weeks trying to bond with this guy and help him get out of a dark period of his life, and in return he tries to torture you to death in the most painful way possible for you. Now let's look at Eddie. Eddie in the movie is depicted as far more malicious than he was in the comics. Comic Eddie was actually a good, decent guy, until Spiderman indirectly and unintentionally screwed his life over. He was publicly humiliated, he lost his job, and he lost his girlfriend. In the comics, Eddie didn't go to that church to ask God to kill Peter Parker - he went there to beg forgiveness and then kill himself. It's possible he was planning to kill himself in the movie, too. And this is where Eddie and the Venom Symbiote bond; when both are at their absolute lowest points. Venom has just been betrayed and tortured by Spiderman, while Eddie no longer has a reason to live and thinks Spiderman is at least partially responsible for the state he is in. When they merge, it's not as simple as "the symbiote corrupted Eddie." They corrupted each other. Their shared hatred of Spiderman made them obsessed with killing him, and their shared victim complex caused them both to become selfish and out for themselves. That, and the fact that the Venom Symbiote still felt it was its duty to help its host, and one of the main things which prevented Eddie from being happy was the resentment he held toward Peter. So by the Symbiote's logic, the best way to help Eddie is to kill Peter Parker so that Eddie can move on with his life. TL;DR: The Symbiote is neither corrupting nor malicious. It was actually trying to help Peter, but it didn't understand humans so it accidentally made things worse. Peter, not understanding the Symbiote's intentions, tried to torture it to death. The Symbiote, feeling vengeful and betrayed, bonded with Eddie, who was in a state of intense depression and anger. Neither Eddie nor the Symbiote were in a state where they could healthily process what they were feeling or help each other overcome it, so instead they both became even more toxic - more Venomous, you could say. In the end, it was humanity which corrupted the Symbiote - not the other way around.
Eddie asked God to kill Peter. God responds by killing the evil in Peter and that evil fell to Eddie as punishment. This is probably one of my favorite scenes in a movie.
@@saint8350 you don't know how God does his work. Nobody does. Edit: if you're going to make an argument with me, don't. The issue (that wouldn't be here if someone knows, understands and accepts that different countries have differing beliefs) has been resolved.

Something occurred to me after watching this scene again. Right after that small piece of the symbiote touched Eddie’s jacket, the rest of it basically gives up on Peter and goes straight for Eddie. Like it had a taste of someone with sweet murderous hate and and preferred it over the stale bland guilt. Love little touches like this!
No matter what, this version of him getting the Symbiote off of him is the best. The way how the suit keeps trying to reconnect itself whenever he tries ripping it off is so satisfying to watch. As much as I love Insomniac's version of the black suit, Sam Raimi really nailed the Symbiote removal scene.
He literally prayed on a man’s downfall he is more devious that Tom Hardy Venom imagine just how deranged and outright petty you have to be to pray on your enemies downfall
Everyone's talking about Eddie's prayer. All I can think about is how Peter had to web swing back to his apartment, naked in the rain without anyone seeing him.
The metaphorical justice in this scene is just awesome writing. Eddie turns to God and dares to ask him to strike Peter down with anger and vengeance, so God punishes Eddie instead. Beautiful scene.
One detail I never noticed as a kid is that Eddie transformed into Venom while on an image of a cross. God killed the evil in Peter so he could cleanse himself of the suit, while also forcing Eddie's evil out to show just how much of a monster he is
Even though Spiderman 3 wasn't originally supposed to have Venom, I'm still shocked at how good the symbiote looks in this film. 14 years later and this still looks absolutely gorgeous.
This is one of my favourite scenes ever. Even the CGI! Just the ruthlessness of him ripping it off but the Symbiote’s desperation to stay on him so it tries recovering was so fascinating!
If they had just kept sandman as the primary villain, had goblin as a villain turned anti hero without venom in the picture, It would have been a better narrative. Albeit not a bad movie by any stretch of the imagination

All fan rage and issues aside, EVERYTHING about this scene -The music -The cinematography -The pacing -Visuals -sound design -Tobey Maguire’s physical acting - Topher Grace’s desperation All of it is amazing. @@jimmy6839 yes you would. That was the point of what Peter was doing to Eddie around the end of the movie he used venom weakness to remove the suit from Eddie
It's easy to forget, but Peter is actually inhumanly strong and could punch the skeleton out of you if he so desired. For him to struggle with the symbiote and needing to exploit it's weakness to sound to get it off is a testament to the symbiote's own alien endurance.
A couple key symbolic things I noticed, cause this scene is absolutely stuffed with details: -Eddie actually goes to church after Peter tells him "You want forgiveness? Get religion", but its for the opposite of forgiveness -The shot of Eddie entering the church is filmed with his reflection upside down in the holy water, signifying his life turning upside down -Eddie quite literally hears a bell when he asks for Peter's death, which brings him to where he gets the power to do so -Peter is up on high, getting rid of the evil (venom), while Eddie is down low asking for a bad deed and gets consumed by the evil -The church being a place people go to repent is fittingly the setting for Peter's repentance, but its the opposite for Eddie because he is full of hatred and desire to sin
@@nazimahdollip-abdoollah4587 But Spidey was finding it painful while the bell was ringing. Obviously since it was a kids cartoon the timespan was shortened
I un-ironically love this scene. It’s my favorite interpretation of Peter getting rid of the suit. The visuals and sound design make it look like he’s trying to peel off a layer of skin with how well they’ve bonded. Then the fact he becomes more successful when the suit gets a taste of Eddy leaves you wondering if Peter succeeded, or if the symbiote gave up the fight. It’s so good for so many reasons. I un-apologetically love this film.
@@ashlirabid9614 Indeed “in-ironic” isn’t a real word. “Unironically” however (I mistakingly put a hyphen in it, so you got me there) is indeed a real word. You can Google it. Maybe we can just both agree this scene is great instead of nitpicking each other’s comments though 😁
Great analysis! I truly think it was a little bit of both. I think Venom gave up on Peter not just because he got a taste of Eddie, but I think the suit maybe sensed that Peter would rather die with the suit than be controlled by it. Kind of like in the Web of Shadow Comic
We could say that Peter freed himself from sin, from the evil that was in him, that's why it took him so long to get rid of the suit. In addition, he had already committed many evils, so it would be increasingly difficult to get rid of him. We could also conjecture that Eddie fell into a very great evil and that is why Venom caught him.
I absolutely love the attention to detail in the sound design. When the Symbiote has nearly consumed Eddie and the last few tendrils are attaching. The tendrils look and sound like sharp hands hooking themselves into his skin. Sounds very painful. Eddie's anguish is intensified by his transformation
Fun fact: In an interview, this is actually how the movie was going to end. In the original 3 script when Sony first asked for venom, Raimi was gonna do just the Black Suit storyline and Sandman as the only villain. When peter gets his suit off and Eddie changed into Venom, he wasn't going to be shown. The transformation would cut away in the final moments and the audience wouldn't see what he truly looked like, and Venom would escape and not be seen at all for the rest of the movie. And in 4 he was going to be brought back as the main villain. But Sony said "No, we want venom now".
I was listening to an audio book on the novelization of this movie. And in this particular scene, I read that everytime Peter was losing the will to rip the suit off his body, he replayed the image of him hitting Mary Jane in his head to force himself to keep going until the suit was off him completely. Spider-Man's willpower has got to be the strongest in fiction period.
Wow they did a great job with the Venom cgi. I like how when Peter rips it off, it looks like it’s desperately trying to cling together to stay bonded with Peter. But whenever it touches Eddie, it immediately leaves Peter. Because Venom feeds off of negative emotions, and Eddie has more negativity than Peter
Also I’m well aware that Venom actually feeds on adrenaline in the comics. But in this movie, it’s implied that negative emotions like hate and rage make Venom more powerful. Also I don’t think it’s explained in the Venom movie with Tom Hardy. In that movie, Venom just stays bonded with Eddie because he likes him I guess.
not to mention what Peter is doing is DAMN near impossible for the average human being to rip off venom just like that but because he has super strength that’s why he was able to do it but even still so he struggled!
@@BengalsxXx16l really enjoy SM3, but here's why this scene makes no sense. I get that this was taken from the animated show (and maybe the comics too, l havent read it) where Peter rips off Venom with the help of the church bell, but why does he have to rip it off AT ALL? In the show Venom was bonded with him, so he never took it off until the church bell scene, but in the movie Peter is shown taking it off MULTIPLE times, so why the hell did he need to rip it off here? Just go home, take it off like you always do and be rid of it.
@@KoolKeithProductions cause the symbiote knows Peter wants to get rid of it so it does not let go of him. @@BengalsxXx16 Peter literally struggled to rip the suit off and this is the same guy who stopped a train by himself. A normal human can never take it off
I think that was initially the plan. Sandman got the main role, with the black suit being a major plot point. Then at the end, after peter realized whats happening, this scene comes up, then next movie. Which makes a lot of sense considering how we first see venom. That lunge into the screen is a classic "To be continued" moment
I love how Raimi uses the black suit to tackle adult themes like addiction in a way that kids or young adults could understand. Most notably stuff like lust, substance abuse, greed, pride, anger, etc. And have an arc dedicated to overcoming it and how it’s not easy. Just like with all unhealthy addictions it starts off feeling good and you think you have control of it but then eventually you lose yourself without realizing it and it affects every area of your life including the people you care about and you become an an entirely different person. Once you acknowledge you have a problem and need to change it’s not easy to break. I don’t think Raimi got enough credit for it back in the day but I’m glad a lot of people are realizing it now.
@@hannahlarocco4699 if you read my comment you would know what my point is. @@ProtagonisTeneTit does, the movie directly states that the symbiote feeds off its host’s negative emotions and makes them feel more confident and powerful, Eddie was scared at first because a weird alien latex was falling on him and taking over his body, but he was at his lowest point in life so all the negativity in him made the symbiote stronger and they started to bond immediately based on their shared hate of the same person (Peter/spidey). That’s why he smiles, it feels good and he’s accepting it.
This is the most overhated movie of all time, and you cannot convince me otherwise. This scene sends chills down my spine. I can’t believe people have the nerve to say Tobey wasn’t a good actor. He is moving and screaming like he’s fighting for his life. 1:35 to the end is bafflingly good. This should have been the ending to Spider-Man 3, and S4 could have been 2 and a half hours of straight up Tobey vs Venom.
@@huangdynasty8536 There’s problems with it, like for instance I can’t stand Mary Jane’s character. And Peter kissing Gwen upside down was really out of nowhere and unnecessary. And they definitely didn’t give enough development time to Venom before him and Peter fought. But dude, there are so many moments in this movie that completely overshadow the bad parts. @@TylerG13 TBH, I’d argue that MJ was brilliant and Peter kissing Gwen made sense. Peter was so full of himself in the first act of the movie (hell he regains himself at the end of the 2nd act). He couldn’t even help MJ when she needed his comfort, lied to Harry, kissed Gwen (as you know), and was willing to kill Flint Marko (the symbiote is what basically kicked him off into gear). Then by the end of the movie after he realises how much of an arrogant runt he’s been, he tries owning up for his mistakes and finally becomes the Peter we all know. The whole reason Peter was evil with the symbiote was because it brought out the anger, vengeance, and darkness form within his heart that was slowly built up through the first half of the film and only reached its lowest point when Peter discovered Sandman killed his uncle instead of Dennis. But yeah, we can both agree that Venom could’ve used some more time in the oven.

I love how all the comments are only 2-3 yrs old while this was uploaded around 7 years ago. This shows that many of us understood the depth of this scene after we grew up.
Y’know. As much hate as Topher Grace gets for Eddie Brock, I think he did pretty great with what he was given at the time. Considering that this isn’t a role he’d normally portray.
Topher Grace was actually great casting when it comes to the themes and overarching characterization in the film. Brock/Venom is a foil/mirror to Peter/Spider-Man. Both are competing photographers, both have a “thing” for Gwen Stacy, and where Peter succeeds Brock fails. Where Peter is normally kind, humble, and awkward (outside of the Symbiote drama) Brock is arrogant, flamboyant, and a schmoozer, not to mention he plays dirty as seen when he fakes the Spidey pic. Granted, he isn’t as successful as he thinks he is and most of the shit he does comes off as well, awkward. But not endearing Peter awkward. Also, Peter with the Symbiote acts more like Brock with the flashiness and weird flirting. Now that’s why Topher Grace fits the bill. Brock’s ego is unearned. He’s a lesser man’s Parker. He also LOOKS like Tobey Maguire. The big blue eyes, slim built, and general awkwardness. Topher Grace could’ve just as easily played Peter Parker, given his other role in That 70s Show as Eric, the lovable, funny nerd who can’t seem to catch a break and who also happens to have the hots for the neighborhood redhead. Sound familiar? Spidey and Venom are mirrors. If the film wasn’t as over bloated and Venom/Brock had a separate film, I’m sure Topher Grace wouldn’t have gotten as much flack. He’s a good actor, the material could’ve been a bit better though, and I say this as someone who likes Spider-Man 3. Either way, it was really clever casting.
This scene doesn’t get talked about enough. It is so atmospheric, the creepy church enhances the ominous feeling you get from Peter’s slow corruption by the symbiote. The score heightens the tension, and the sound of the church bells adds a whole new layer of gothic atmosphere. Coupled with the incredibly realistic CGI on Venom (especially for 2007!) really just makes this one of the best scenes in Spider-Man history.
For me, It's the near-religious portrayal of the symbiote as a kind of "Sin". I'm not Christian, but I assume the symbiote acts as a symbol for "evil deeds", and that granting oneself redemption requires incredible strain and perseverance. The tolling of the church bells give Peter a chance at redemption, literally and metaphorically.
@@byattwurns1553 as another person pointed out, its really poetic. youll get your rent when you fix this damn door! Yah in comics Eddie Brock was a devout Catholic which seems to hold true here in this movie too In comics though Brock was disgraced unwittingly by Spider-Man, for Eddie a reporter of the Daily Globe did an interview on a man who claimed to be a serial killer corrupt cop killer named Sin Eater His report earned him fame until Spider-Man captured the real Sin Eater, as the man which Eddie interviewed was a fraud seeking attention Eddie lost his job, his marriage, his way of life over it and blamed Spider-Man for it despite him not being directly causing Eddie‘s troubles He began hating Spider-Man and excerised in part of wanting to kill him, which made him a muscle bound Adonis But as a Catholic he knew it was wrong and sought suicide but again his faith stopped him So he went from one church to another seeking forgiveness for the sin of wanting suicide and that’s where the Venom Symbiote meet him All this is a tie to the movie as Eddie here made his own trouble by using fake means to get fame, and obsessing over Gwen Stacy And while Peter was a cause to bring him down, Eddie wanted him to die and used his faith as a means to pray and make it happen It all seems a dark parallel to the comic version of how Eddie in both versions have warped minds and men of faith
If they didn't push the director into having 3 villains in Spiderman 3 and saved Venom for a Spiderman 4...The Sam Raimi verse would be hollywood legend.
They just chose the villains for this film so poorly. The whole interaction between Peter, the symbiote and Harry was brilliant and more than enough to carry the film by itself. All they needed was a brief second villain for Peter and Harry to team up against at the end. Sandman isn't suitable because he's supposed to be a tragic character, not a monstrous supervillain. If they hadn't conclusively killed Norman Osborn off he could have 'returned from the dead ' like in the comics, which would be an even greater payoff if Harry were forced to fight him. Norman even accidentally killed Harry in Ultimate Spiderman so there's plenty of meat behind this concept. For the film continuity though, it makes more sense for it to be Connors/Lizard. He was experimenting with the symbiote throughout the film, what if by doing so he discovered the missing ingredient for his Lizard formula? They were quietly setting up Connors/Lizard since the first film, what better time to unleash the Lizard than this point in the narrative? A perfect threat for Peter and Harry to team up against. Venom was the most wasted of all though. Eddie shouldn't have bonded with the symbiote until the post-credits scene. That way Spiderman 4 can be all about Venom. Remember how Venom was introduced in the comics, when he covertly tried to kill Peter by pushing him in front of a subway train without revealing himself, since he doesn't trigger the spider-sense? Imagine how cool that would have been on screen. The start of the film could be building tension around this mystery. After that they can take it all kinds of ways. Remember Eddie faked those photos of black-suited spiderman doing evil deeds? Well now he HAS the black suit, he can IMPERSONATE Spiderman. How epic would that be? Peter would still have no idea who Venom is. Gah, so much wasted potential.
@@TKGriffiths they were planning on making mysterio the main villain for spiderman 4. To this day I think Sandman was the best thing in the third movie. The actor really portrayed a very relatable Flint Marko to the point they literally copied it to the Spiderman 2 game. Even the speech mannerisms, slow, naive almost dumb like but good hearted spirit. They also did a theme song score for the Sandman that also gave me goosebumps, very beautiful.
The symbiote in this movie really embodies anger, spite, vengeance, and violence. When Peter gets it, he wants to get revenge on Sandman for killing his uncle. But after the rest of the film happens and Peter realizes his mistake, he rejects the symbiote and makes himself better, and is even able to forgive Sandman for his mistake. Eddie, on the other hand, just points figures whenever he's at his lowest point. When Peter gets him fired, he wants revenge, and the symbiote lands on him, and he fully embraces that and never learns to forgive.

It's easy to forget, but Peter is actually inhumanly strong and could punch the skeleton out of you if he so desired.
For him to struggle with the symbiote and needing to exploit it's weakness to sound to get it off is a testament to the symbiote's own alien endurance.
Right? A regular human has no hope of getting it off if he had such a hard time
Its also metaphorical, the sins and desires the power gave him are hard to get rid of once you get a taste
A couple key symbolic things I noticed, cause this scene is absolutely stuffed with details:
-Eddie actually goes to church after Peter tells him "You want forgiveness? Get religion", but its for the opposite of forgiveness
-The shot of Eddie entering the church is filmed with his reflection upside down in the holy water, signifying his life turning upside down
-Eddie quite literally hears a bell when he asks for Peter's death, which brings him to where he gets the power to do so
-Peter is up on high, getting rid of the evil (venom), while Eddie is down low asking for a bad deed and gets consumed by the evil
-The church being a place people go to repent is fittingly the setting for Peter's repentance, but its the opposite for Eddie because he is full of hatred and desire to sin

The visuals and sound design make it look like he’s trying to peel off a layer of skin with how well they’ve bonded. The irony of this scene is that evil Peter Parker "dies" as Eddie asked for. Peter is reborn as his true self.

Y’know. As much hate as Topher Grace gets for Eddie Brock, I think he did pretty great with what he was given at the time. Considering that this isn’t a role he’d normally portray.
Eric Forman
@@thekeeperofpromise 🤣
@@jackierosas9593 Also I think as the first poster showed, people probably could only see him as Eric Forman back then
Why does people hate him? I mean, he’s not Tom Hardy but he definitely did a good job considering Raimi didn’t really gave him that much to work with
This scene doesn’t get talked about enough.
Eddie went in there with such malevolent request and instantly got damned for it, while Peter did not ask for help or anything and still got one on the form of that bell, which purified him of his ''sins'', while on the same time Eddie got surrounded by his and embraced it
@@jinbe_of_the_sea4577 they both were at the same place, church. But they were there for different reasons, or... asked for different things. Peter wanted redemption, Brock wanted the opposite, he wanted revenge and asked God to do a terrible thing.

Peter tells Eddie to get religion. Eddie goes to church and instead of asking for forgiveness he straight up asks God to kill Peter.
I never understood this scene as a kid... but now that I’m older I can see how dark this scene truly is.
youll get your rent when you fix this damn door! Yah in comics Eddie Brock was a devout Catholic which seems to hold true here in this movie too
In comics though Brock was disgraced unwittingly by Spider-Man, for Eddie a reporter of the Daily Globe did an interview on a man who claimed to be a serial killer corrupt cop killer named Sin Eater
His report earned him fame until Spider-Man captured the real Sin Eater, as the man which Eddie interviewed was a fraud seeking attention
Eddie lost his job, his marriage, his way of life over it and blamed Spider-Man for it despite him not being directly causing Eddie‘s troubles
He began hating Spider-Man and excerised in part of wanting to kill him, which made him a muscle bound Adonis
But as a Catholic he knew it was wrong and sought suicide but again his faith stopped him
So he went from one church to another seeking forgiveness for the sin of wanting suicide and that’s where the Venom Symbiote meet him
All this is a tie to the movie as Eddie here made his own trouble by using fake means to get fame, and obsessing over Gwen Stacy
And while Peter was a cause to bring him down, Eddie wanted him to die and used his faith as a means to pray and make it happen
It all seems a dark parallel to the comic version of how Eddie in both versions have warped minds and men of faith

RENT?
If they didn't push the director into having 3 villains in Spiderman 3 and saved Venom for a Spiderman 4...The Sam Raimi verse would be hollywood legend.
Then there's the new Spiderman trailer.... Did they not learn?
X
Sam didn’t want Venom in his films at all. He said he’s not a fan of the character.
Sam had no choice but to make sandman bad in order to make them team up at the end thanks to a stupid company called sony which deliberately pushed raimi to put venom in the film, and it was 5 days before the release of spiderman 4 that it was cancelled because raimi decided to give up and let sony take the reboot which was just awful with garfield.
For a guy who didn’t want venom in this movie, Raimi’s incorporation of him into it isn’t too shaby
3:18 Eddie becomes Venom
Venom: First we attack the cameraman!
Lol
Stolen
Camera man: You underestimate me?! Attack me all you want! For I AM INVINCIBLE!!!!
Usually camera mans always survive in movies
Hey, that kinda looks like Goblin's line
For a director who don't want Venom initially, he sure blend the theme of forgiveness and hate well along with Sandman
Never say Sam can’t work with what he’s given.
I like to think this is originally where the movie was supposed to end and Spider-Man 4 was supposed to pick up immediately after this
