Anyone else see this and wonder why Peter didn't just lift the cage off him, or dig under it to get out, why did he waste time and energy punching his way out? I know the symbiote increases his anger, but that seems like an obvious solution, and the Symbiote is supposed to pick up traits from previous hosts, that part of the reason why it's so unstable, the Venom symbiote had a lot of bad influences before it met Peter, but I know at least one of those host was a brutal warlord, so you'd think tactical thinking would be in it's repertoire, and it's absolutely in Peter's.
I do like representation of old and modern ideas. Back in the day: blame yourself, supress emotion, turn to anger, let it consume you, pete. Modern day: man up to your emotions, go trough them, understand them, and be rational, emotionally mature person: miles.
