- Marvel's Spider-Man 2 had some amazing boss fights throughout the game, so today we're going through and ranking all of them from worst to best in Spiderman 2.

Insomniac made an absolutely amazing game in Spider-Man 2; the gameplay, the story, and the traversal were all done exceptionally well. One area that especially stood out to me however was the boss fights throughout the game. Both Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, take on some of their toughest villians yet in all out brawls. It was so much fun fighting Spiderman characters like Venom, Kraven, and Lizard that I just HAD to make a ranking of all these battles from worst to best. So, this is all Spider-Man 2 bosses ranked.

5:21 This boss was very difficult for me because of the area. Scream will often go out of bounds where you can’t even fight her, she goes behind a few fences that Spider-Man himself can’t get to.

The Behemoth you fight as MJ could be included. And I personally count the Black Cat chase as a Boss too. A joke between me and a friend who also played the game, is that Darren is technaly a Boss too. He is a villain (even if just introduced), he created a conflict, he is the climax to the side mission and he actually "fights" Spider-Man, even if it was just a chase.

hello I'm a bit late, I loved seeing how u rank these characters, only thing I would say that's my opinion is spiderman vs miles was better than Kraven vs venom in my opinion. what's better Arkham or insomniac?

DO YOU CALL THIS GAME A MASTERPIECE? A GAME WHERE PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN, WAS HUMILIATED AND LOWERED TO A STATE WHERE HE CAN'T DO A DAMN THING AND CONSTANTLY WHINES ABOUT IT. A GAME WHERE FUCKING MILES MORALES IS A FUCKING GOD AND CAN DO ANYTHING AND DEFEATS EVERYONE WITHOUT MAKING ANY EFFORT AT ALL. The problem of this game is not on the agenda, throughout the game the story humiliates Peter in order for the characterless Merry Sue Miles Morales to become the main character of the next game. The story of this game is FUCKING BULLSHIT, and does not deserve the 11/10 best game of the year.
I personally feel like boss battles take the immersive out of games. They were okay for the PS3/Xbox 360 gen but, I feel like games need to be more realistic now and there has to be better ways to translate Main Villain fights as opposed to to button mashing.

I personally think this game would've been a masterpiece if certain side quests were either removed or substituted with something else. For example, the one where you literally do nothing but help the gay kid get together with the other gay kid. This is a Spider-Man game, we didn't need politics to be added just for the sake of it or whatever, let alone as a very boring segment of a side quest where as Spider-Man, you literally do not fight anything or anyone. All you do is connect power with webs, easily the most boring part of the game. Also, the Hailey side quest, that was very boring as well, I don't see why we have to play as a normal human in a Spider-Man game, if anything, if you're going to do that, just let us have the Mary Jane segments which actually have action in them, unlike the Hailey segments which literally consisted of nothing but painting stuff on walls with a spray.

@@igg7865 It is political, they added those 2 side quests because of woke culture. As u swing through the city, literally, u can see the gay flag everywhere as well. The only reason they added that stuff and made black cat bisexual is because they want to make video games woke as well. We don't need everything to be gay u know. We don't a gay character in every TV series, movie or video games. If anything we could do without them. This is a Spider-Man game, why do we need to worry about woke stuff in video games? That is the question I ask.
It would be a masterpiece if they didn't force a bunch of gay, non-binary* and deaf-inclusive** things.
The gameplay and the two protagonists are magnificent (just like in the two previous games).
* Danika Hart calls Dr. Young a "they", when the doctor is clearly a woman.
** I have no prejudice against people who are deaf. Those who find other ways to communicate and participate in society are winners. I'm obviously talking about the unnecessary Hailey mission.
You can look mostly feminine and still be non binary.
