The question regarding a father in a girls life is something I think about often as well. In my opinion, it definitely affects how a girl choose a male partner in the future. This is for sure. A good relationship with a father will make a girl look for good, loving qualities in a man and usually settle for nothing less.

Everything is manifestation so when I say oh I have daddy issues I literally don’t even have daddy issues they’re not bad at all but when I say me and my dad have a really good relationship and literally shows up and my daughter with calling me last time I saw him we were like dancing in the kitchen it was really cute he’s like a really good dad compared to a lot of dads

    • @ayysenn
      @ayysenn 7 месяцев назад

@Alicia-vq8jg there are just 'some issues' and there are people that have really bad dads. Some people went to super traumatic stuff and no manifistation will change what kind of person their father is.

    • @Alicia-vq8jg
      @Alicia-vq8jg 7 месяцев назад

@@ayysenn well, sometimes when I think about things that my dad is done to me, I get really mad and I’m like oh I’m so fucked up because of that for me personally when I talk about it or put any significance on it, it’s like putting gasoline on the fire. I don’t think it’s that bad. It was like one little thing when I was little and then he ignored me a lot and was creepy to my friends and put all of his stepchildren. I had of my sister and I but that’s the old story. I just say my dad is always been a super amazing dad.

Dear Mila, I grew up in poverty, in Romania, not having father at all after the age of 10. I had only my mother who grew up me alone.
The personality of the father is very very important. If a father is a good man and loving, is wonderful to have a father but if the opposite traits come, it is better not to have him at all.
I can not imagine how to have a good father is 😢

I had the same childhood experience. I only grew up with a dad up until 13 years old and after that there was nothing. And I think during the important years of your life like teenage years, especially you need a father figure to feel supported and loved. If you don’t feel supported all or loved during your teenage years, it will be a hole in your heart. You will always feel unsupported and unloved completely because of that and it’s just the way it is and I have learned to accept it. I’m trying to fill that void by supporting and loving myself and trying to choose a partner who can help me fill that void as well. I hope that helps Mila!❤

Dear Mila, it's ok not to be ok, please remember that. I learned the hard way that faking your well being in front of people eats away your soul and has horrible effect on your body too. I went through horrible time, faked for years, pleased people left and right, had tons of friends, and when my brain and body gave out from burn out, nobody but my family understood, every "friend" i had just ghosted me. Took me 2 hard years to re-invent myself, now i'm thriving, i learned to live a diffetent way where i'm no.1. and i thank myself and only myself for that. You will get through this, if needed don't shy away to ask professional help. I'm 100% sure you will get through this.

Mila, the same situation here, abuse and court. The only way to stay on your feet is not giving you power away. So, I know exactly how you feel, because I went thru that. People who are abusive and want to harm other people are weak and want to set inside you fear and make you weak. If you let them put fear in your hart, they won, it doesn't matter the resoult in the court. If you want to take revange, just live your life and be happy. Have faith in you, have faith in your worth and your judgement, because these toxic people will try to make you doubt your judgement. Be carrefull with that. Have a nice day and remember that you are not the only one in this kind of situation and all depends on how you see the matters. Have a good 2024, power is in your hands!

It seems like you are going through a “detox season” in your life-
Where you’re purging all of the dead weight and negative influence around you.
This process is always VERY painful and isolating because it’s like you’re seeing the world through new eyes
and realizing things you didn’t know before.
Just remember that this is just a season and will NOT last forever.
As long as you push through, surround yourself & your environment with positivity, go in nature and continue to improve your mind and your body- things will get SOO SOO SOOO much better.
I can’t wait for this new start in your life!❤️

Mila you are something :) I love your honesty and I love how open and raw you are. You can talk about anything and I think that you have something interesting to say about everything. I thinj a father figure is so important I love my dad and I used to be so close to him when i was a kid. He unfortunately passed away 7 years ago but I have my memories and the things he taught and instilled in me. I have 3 girls and they love their dad, God bless them. He cares for them so much, provides everything from food to education, love and good advice and they hug him all the time and value his opinions always. I think, and I may be in a minority here, that a child really benefits from good parents (mother and father figure) and this gives a lot of stability, safety and encourages growth in life.

There is a lot of literature about the importance of the father in a household. In psychoanalysis, from Freud to Lacan, all describe how, especially for a girl, her relationship with her father affects everything else in her life, particularly relationships. He basically defines her view and interactions with the opposite sex, not to mention her ability to receive love, and other self worth related concepts...

Good luck with the court case! It's visible how it has shaken you but it has not broken you, so I commend you!
The question about a father figure - I think girls need it because they are more protected in that case and do not have to grow up suddenly and take on the masculine role themselves. Also, sometimes the lack of a father figure can affect the choice of a life partner. Of course, not everytime and not for everyone, but it has shown to be so in many cases.

We were not rich, but we had everything we needed. My father was the first best man we ever knew(we were 3 girls). My parents were a great team. Mom was the strong one Dad was affectionate and loving. We never wanted to disappoint him. When I was older and had children I said Dad you’re the best and he said I haven’t even started” to us and our children- he walked on water and never let us down in any way. Never judgemental and set a very good example- very faithful but never preachy. I could go on but you get the point. I’m sure your just as special to your daughter❤️

I was raised by a single father. Compared to my friends growing up with single mothers I think having a father was really good for my self esteem and how I related to men later on. He wasn’t a great dad but I wasn’t desperate for male attention and approval. My husband is a great partner and father and I think he’s going to have a positive impact on how our daughter chooses relationships, I hope! We can never really tell how our kids will be when they become adults.

You're definitely a much better person than you think. You're very intelligent and you look amazing, I agree. It's good to see you appreciate your appearance (too few women do) and not bullshitting about obesity when it's clearly unhealthy and damaging.
My dad definitely ruined my life, however my mum wasn't the best mother either. I have a father complex so I'd think my dad actually did worse.
I hope this year will be better for you because you deserve it.

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I was hoping it would be longer. Just an idea, I would love it if you uploaded health related videos. I am on a health journey as well and my diet isn't as clean as it should be but I look and feel better now that I am cooking more at home due to inflation. As for the dad not being in your life or the importance of having one, I can relate to you. I was a daddy's girl until 19. He abandoned me, my soblings, and my mother to take care of everything because he couldn't adjust to living here in Canada. He went back to live in the Philippines and did not even send money to help. I felt like as the oldest sister, I had to step up and help more at home (cleaning, buying supplies, mowing lawn, raking leaves, shoveling snow, driving my mom to places, making all dog appointments, etc) I felt like I had all this male energy and forgot about what is like to appreciate and enjoy being a woman because my family needs me. It also affected how I get myself into romantic relationships. I take shit from men and I do not put boundaries and voice my needs. I take whatever is bare minimum and make excuses for them and act like everything is normal. Now I learned my lesson to forgive my old self and love myself and to not get involved with anyone who doesn't value me the way I deserve to be.

Hi Mila, thank you for asking for opinions on the father topic. I think, that if a girl has a good and supportive father figure, she will be more inclined to be self confident as an adult and not be out looking for validation from men. She may be more picky about her choices in men, because she knows her worth. She probably won't be an asshole magnet. She will be attracted to men of substance. and she won't settle for anyone who treats her poorly.
this is just my observation as a woman who has been around for 55 years.

2023 was an awful year for me as well. I went through a lot of loss and grieved all year. I finally feel better, but it took longer than I wanted to get back on track mentally.
My dad died when I was a baby, and my step dad was there pretty much my whole childhood, but he never cared for me as a person and we do not have a relationship at all. I think he was the reason I’ve had issues with men in my past and I think that if I had a healthy father-daughter relationship then I would have had a way different life. I think it’s very important.

The father's role in a girls life is of high importance. How your father treats you can affect your confidence, stress, self esteem, choices in partners on and on.
Both of my parents were living la vida loca!! Dad was an abusive alcoholic, mom was a submissive depressed alcoholic. Married 25 years, 7 children 3 together and 4 from affairs they were having while married to each other. I am a proud Sancho baby because I never wanted to be my father's child by blood, he was one of the meanest and angriest person's I've ever known, I knew I couldn't be his child, but I still had to live with him until I left when I was 17. I am 42 now and am seeing a counselor who is so amazing and a pivotal person in my childhood trauma recovery.
I thought I could just "grow up" and get over it on my own, but you can't run from your nightmares! Getting help has helped my marriage, and how I see the world around me.
Mila I believe in you, your power is present in your healthy appearance, your strength is heard in the emotion when you speak. I resonate with you on so many levels. Thank you for continuing on, you look amazing and I'm getting back to being a healthy girl again, nothing does feel better other than knowing your children are happy, feel loved and are safe. You are perfect.

Regarding Dad… You are right, figure of father is VERY important in every childs life, BUT especially in the life of his daughter. Why? Because this is the first man in our life, he shows us how it feels like when man loves in healthy way. He shows how the REAL MAN should behave, how he protects his family etc. And when we are already adults we know how we want to be loved. Lots of women dont know HOW men should love them. In healthy way. But its better to have no father than having disfunctional parent, cause it can also ruin your life. Thats sad truth.

Hi Mila thank you so much for sharing. My Russian father was a great loving man. My Italian mother, long story, she left him when I was 9.
I too think too much also, but life can be so complicated no matter what our parents were like.
I lost both my parents and my dear stepfather when I was 31. I miss them all very much. Life can be sweet and cruel at times.
What can I say, we have to be tough! ❤❤

You’re right about being overweight and miserable. I was just slightly overweight since pregnancy and being depressed after a miscarriage and could not lose the last 5-10 kg. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism couple of years back and with the help of some dietitians I am now on the carnivore diet and feel so great. I lost the weight and can keep it off. I am now off of all thyroid medication due to the diet and my numbers are all perfect. Sugar and alcohol are truly the enemy of the body.

Hey, Mila! I had a terrible father who wasn’t around ( probably for the best) and a nice stepfather, but we weren’t very close. I do think it had a bad effect on me for sure. I’ve always been needy for male attention and I married my husband at age 17. I actually call him daddy. So yeah, I’d say it definitely causes issues. I’m definitely way more insecure and angry than I probably would be had my dad been a good father and stuck around. I will always have anger issues and I know him leaving and not giving a shit is a lot of the reason why. I hope this helped! Love you! Btw, you look amazing and you should be proud and don’t let anyone bring you down! ❤

Mila, as far as a father in a girls life … The way the father/step father, boyfriend treats her mother sets the example for how she will expect to be treated by her boyfriends and later husband. I suppose a mother can teach that but most people learn by the examples set before them that are most important in their lives or people they are most closest to. If mother stays in a bad situation it will not only damage her but her children also -boys or girls. I wish you much love and prosperity this year and going forward! I would also hope for your sake, that you consider letting go of resentments and grudges because it damages you and does nothing to even the score. These entrapments will lodge in your body and cause serious health problems. ❤

A father that stops being there is like a grief a child has to endure with someone thats alive… is a loss… and Impact the sence of security, stability of a child. As an adult the person usually needs to have more predictibility, have more controle of other aspects of theire life, as a compensation machanism. But of course everyone is diferent. This is just my opinion based on my experience of work.
Sorry about my english 😅 love your vídeos !

Hi. Mila. This is actually the first time I have ever commented on anyone’s video. You are an embodiment of truth and courage. Your authenticity and strength to face life should be studied. I am proud of you. A father is very important in a girl’s life because fathers and mothers both bring values to a child’s life regardless of gender, and that is why to create a child, both genders are needed. If one wasn’t important, then humans will reproduce via parthogenesis. However, for some people (myself included), we get the short end of the stick by having one parent absent, especially during our growing stages and that affects us in one way or another (whether we choose to admit it or not). All we can do is to improve as adults, and do our best so subsequent generations do not go through what we experienced. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. You are loved Mila. Keep being you ❤

I’ve been reading a lot about what alcohol really does to the body. You are right, it’s bad. No amount is harmless. Does this mean I will never have another glass of wine? I don’t know, but after a month no alcohol I feel great and no interest in drinking for the foreseeable future.

Two more things you said that made me want to clap were:
I drink when I have to be nice to people I don't like. Omg can relate. I didn't drink in those situations. But I know exactly what you mean. For me, those situations are work functions. And then I stick with the people I know and like. And don't talk to anyone else.
And you said you make an effort to be nice to people at your daughter's school so that she doesn't have problems. That is absolutely the kindest thing you can do for her. I can imagine that there are other parents at any school that make school-based interactions a nightmare. And to get through things like school drop-off and pick-up and parent-teacher meetings can be a rough time. And it takes such strength to go through that, and not lose face and tell people to gtfo.
So that is a huge personal victory.
    Well done, Mila ✨✨

I am the skinniest I have been since high school with that drug, and I can’t BELIEVE how amazing it feels. You are totally right. There is no longer a shortage in the Boston area. Also I think people overlook the potential of the drug on insulin resistance especially in an obese country like here in USA, the way it was explained to me is that while I was not yet diabetic this drug will prevent me from getting diabetes. Diabetes makes so many severe health complications that I will be saved from.
And I wish you good luck in all your legal matters and hope you see an end to it soon 🧿

A good dad/male figure sets the foundation of a girl's future relationships with men. He teaches you how you should be treated so you have a good example to take reference from. It also makes you more secure in who you are and you don't sell yourself short to men or rely on sex appeal to fill whatever void. Ofc both parents matter but i'm focusing on the dad in particular since you asked.

    To your question..
My father raised me because my mother was mentally unwell, she left when I was 6. She tried to be in my life but once a month visit we’re only allowed. My father was very strict (military servicemen). I yearn for a mother figure with no extended family available. He tried his best but it was very hard as a girl. I think a balanced family would have been best for my optimal growth as a child and teenager.

  • @maryj6131

It depends on how involved the father actually is in the kid's life and how the kid views the father. If they are afraid of their dad or don't get along with him at all, it's actually more constructive to not force a relationship between the father and the kid. However, if the father is someone involved, patient and open minded, the kid can benefit from that relationship. I guess it comes down to perception and the type of people involved in the situation.
