Took me an hour. I could easily get it down to a half hour. I used a c-clamp to break the bead and a T45 to take the wheel off. Next time I'll use something better as a tire lever because I put a few nicks in my rim. Thanks so much for the video. This made it easy.
Thank you for this video. Today I successfully installed my Enduro Tire and lifesavers on my GT after watching your video. I had the original tire off the hub in 40 minutes. Everything went back on much easier! THANK YOU!
@@carvecreative It’s AMAZING! Hands down it’s made the GT a far better ride. My ankles and knees appreciate the tire soaking up all the bumps! Best upgrade yet to my GT.
Pretty much all was good but, if someone is reading this PLEASE NEVER USE METAL TOOLS TO REMOVE THE TIRE, NO EVEN THE GT TIRE NO METAL PRYBAR EVER, just nylon tire lever from bicycles. Ps: I have no doubt that you guys from crave creative are professional and yes the metal prybar as you use is ok, but regular people will probably crack this GT hubs 🤙🏼
My Enduro tire should be shipping early August I'm excited thanks for the video my man! Got some sweet tfl Lifesavers on the way as well! Although I'm a bit on the fence I've got around a 150 mi on the GT tire now and it feels a lot more square and grippier now that it's broken in a bit...
I'd really like to know the difference in ride quality, torque and speed between the GT Enduro and a GTR with a XR Enduro. I rode a GTR the other and it's got me thinking.
No but people have complained that air can release easier from the bead if the rim savers are on. But the rim savers truly save the motor if you’re running low psi and riding over chunky rocks or trying to do 180s
@@AlphaCrypto81 I know there are lots of sealants out there that have been used with all the many tire changes for the older boards. Yes I could probably use any of those and they will work but since the GT is so new and this is literally the first aftermarket tire, I would just like to know from more experienced people which ones they would recommend, that's all.
@@carvecreative yup, but read your owners manual. Now that you've read it ask yourself. "Which holds more legal precedence, hear say, or a written legal document..? " their word is not worth anything

Thanks for checking it out! Love your show!
It didn't strip anything?
@@mrawesome1821 it was the t47 torx plus hit and worked perfect!
Thanks, I will try one. I bought an M8 and it DIDN'T fit

You will LOVE it. I will never go back until this one gets a flat. Probably need to order a spare
Making taking a GT apart look easy
Can you please do one for putting on treaded? Seems I can't find one without a cut clip or after result
It’s the same process but we can do a treaded tire change soon for sure!
Thanks Kyle!
Wtf! JEFF dont show you how he actually gets the axel blocks off and this dude is taking frigin rails off! Its a mad house!
It’s way easier to remove the rail. Thats how it was designed. Less chance of ruining your motor plug and cable.
Awesome thanks

Do you have an exact torque recommendation for the motor bolts? For those of us with torque wrenches but no experience 🤣
21 ft lbs is what I’ve been doing for the GT. Those Bolts are beefy
Phenomenal. Where is this best place to get the tools necessary for tire swaps?
I’ll add a list to the description
Just added links for you!
You’re the man! Just bought a GT. Next purchase will be Enduro and Lightening rails. Super clean design 🤙🏻
Great video Fam! Very informative. 💯

The float life prob sent to them.

I think Craft and Ride said they were working on something!
What’s a “Ribe number 8” bit”?
Actually I’ve been using a TP45 now!
Do you need to put more tire sealant in or does the stock tire sealant still work?
Yes you do. I apologize for not having that in there. Wasn’t recording

Warranty only lasts a year anyway. It's so easy to just use stock shit for a year if you're really that worried about a warranty. Chill.
