Your cheesy intro is not cheesy at all. I love it and can’t wait to see where it goes from here. My Enduro will be shipping very soon and I can’t wait. Thank you for the great content and great opinions. Keep up the amazing work!
@davidhamid8025 well to start the original treaded tire was out of round and the Enduro is a softer compound that feels a little more controllable to me even at higher pressure .
11:08 Too funny with the FlatOut placement. Meanwhile behind Russ on the floor is a huge container of Green Slime, and another huge container on his workbench.
I literally finished replacing my tire on the GT earlier today, and those four screws that he warned about? Yeah, as soon as I saw leftover screws I knew where they had to go. Easy fix, but annoying that I forgot them. I haven't been able to ride the tire yet, I'm set at 18 PSI, with me as a rider sitting roughly 220 lbs on the board. I might drop the PSI a bit, but that'll be in a bit as I want to try it out at the higher PSI at first. With everything I did, I forgot to install the Foamies. Perhaps tomorrow. I love what Russ said about it being on the new tire, "You're gonna meet your GT for the first time today", as virtually everyone has mentioned the ride quality is significantly different.
DUDE these intros are hilarious, please start a mini series alone with just you and the GT solving crimes! I'd subscribe to that all day! otherwise awesome video my dude he made that tire swap look easy! The sound of your velvety voice could sooth any savage beast. Enjoy your content brother
Niiice I’ve been waiting for this review!! Wonderful news about the enduro, I’ll be installing mine tomorrow on my local shop here in Miami 🌴 Can’t wait!!! Gracias Mario 🤘🏻
crashes suck........broke the end of my elbow clean off on my xr last november . one metal plate and 6 screws . shit happens recover and float on my friend.
i noticed a small dent in my gt hub the other day near the Air nozzle... only ride street so it had to of happened easily... sucks but its minor enough to the point you cant even notice without looking closely. got some life savers coming now tho lol
How do people ride without a fender, and wear shorts, and not get their ankles scraped on the tire? If I don't wear long pants, or have a fender, for some reason I keep getting strawberries. But then again I'm always doing goofy crap on my board and falling off. While I'm just cruising, of course I don't get the scraping.
So he is using a tp 45 bit? I personally used a ribe m8 when I swapped my GT tire for an enduro. I was wondering if you would know which bit fits better. Thanks
in my opinion, after testing both, it is a torx plus 45, while a ribe 8mm fits and works and won't strip out the inside of the hub bolt, but the TP45 is way better
@@TheBoardGarage to be honest it was late last night when I saw this video and skipped straight to the installation and review. Just watched the 0:50 portion. Appreciate it 👍
@@TheBoardGarage yes didn’t know what that was. Why use windex on the inflation part? First I’ve seen this done on enduro. I’m new to changing a tire on OneWheel so your guide is the most detailed out there as of now.
I think the compressor read about 40psi, and Enduros usually seat below 40, so it was just make sure the bead wasn't hanging on the surface of the ramp. Likely not necessary, especially if you put a tire band on, but it helped nonetheless. The Enduro is fairly new, and so there are still general best practices to consider with tires from how things were generally approached with Hoosiers, Burris, Vegas, etc. Having a spray of Windex or using a smear of lubricant to coax the second bead in is kind of a muscle memory thing.
Still can’t believe my enduro went bad after only 700 miles and fl said that’s normal bc the life is only about 1k to 1200 miles of life with this tire , smh! And I only ride trails so this tire is not good imo! Sucks bc I loved it on the other hand felt really good but just can’t believe 700 miles of trail riding and it ballooned out on the sidewall. Then they wouldn’t replace it! Although they did give me a 25% off on a purchase .
Does changing out the tire to Enduro result in breaking your OneWheel warranty? It’s unclear from OneWheel? Only asking is because the GT seems to have to most issues out of all OneWheels and would hate to have to swap out the tire if need to send it to OneWheel for repairs.
The text in the manual says that unauthorized accessories void the warranty. FM released a video saying that changing your own tire doesn't void the warranty, but they also didn't mention if that includes an aftermarket tire. So the answer is, I don't really know.
@@TheBoardGarage yeah it’s super unclear. I think if there is an issue where you have to send it back, then it’s probably safe to swap the tire out and then swap it back when you get the board back. Doing so would prevent any warranty issues and give you even more experience on changing tires.
It's not just gokart/OW tires, but EUC and scooter tires are also increasingly impossible to find.... You used to be able to grab cheap amazing tires now you have to buy scalped tires or... experiment with more expensive unknown tires.
i guess this is good timing. Ive been wanting a ow for the last few summers but right as i was going to order an xr they announced the GT. but with how the GT was received im just lost. do i go after a used xr(I'm in Brooklyn and the listings dont inspire confidence)? do i go after the pint x? i would hate to lose another summer that i could have spent cruising the beach.
Dude I cheaped out and bought an og pint last year right before the beach and it was the best decision I've ever made. Now I ride euc but get riding now whatever you get you will really enjoy, I only wish I would have started sooner.
If you end up liking onewheeling, range will be your enemy very quickly. Either get an xr with a Cbxr, or a GT with Enduro tire. I have both. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. If money is an issue, go for the used XR with a decent tire first. Save some money and extend your battery in a few months. Make sure to buy an XR with the right serial number to make life a little easier. If you are a heavy set person living in the hills, spend the money for a GT.

How bad is the flat? Has the tire been punctured? Usually if tire sealant like Flat Out doesn't work, I'll use a regular tire plug. They work well on these kinds of tires. If it's too severe damage, then it may just need to be replaced. Reach out at info@mariocontino.com and let me know.

It's not the miles per hour but the smiles per hour that matter ;)
I have live tracking on mine now and cannot wait.
Love the talking OneWheel intro so much,
reminded me of the Skateboard Kid films!
Bones brigade!
I just changed the tire from the stock treaded to the Float life Enduro and it is the most impressive improvement. Great vid🤘
How do you like it? What’s the difference?
@davidhamid8025 well to start the original treaded tire was out of round and the Enduro is a softer compound that feels a little more controllable to me even at higher pressure .
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS REVIEW FOR WHATS FELT LIKE AGES. Glad to hear others are enjoying it. Soon to purchase!

Man.. I'm out here in Vegas... I'll be getting mines in mid August 💯. I got 150 on tha treaded.
I went GTR early just for the Enduro 🙂 My only tire going forward 👍
I preordered both the enduro and full flight fender for the GT. I’m so stoked to get them installed and shred.
I am shocked FM can't sense this mod remotely and trigger an explosive charge to kill you from their HQ in Cali.
I want that excitebike! Onewheel sticker!!
How many miles did you get out of stock? How many miles do you have on the enduro
I'm going to pretend I didn't see how easy that tire went on at 12:20... my ego crumbled quicker than a rim with a metal pry bar 💀
Literal perfect video. When do you add the slime?
Thank you. The tire sealant goes in after the bead is set, and before the valve core is reinstalled.
@@TheBoardGarage Thanks man! Putting my tire on tomorrow.
