You guys are the best! I had the rare bearing thing happen to me when I was changing out bearings and it indeed does suck. It became a two person job since I didn't have the correct extractor... One person holding two wrenches under and pulling while the other person was holding the motor... not fun at all. Spend the $15 and save yourself a lot of sweat and swear words.
My hope is that one day they come out with a TFL stator that’s both XR/GT compatible. My hypercores don’t have much life left in them but I’ll keep the hope alive.
Glad the MTEs are more affordable now. Hopefully, they'll also be in stock for more people to get their hands on them as well. I had a bearing stay on the axle on my third hub swap. I was ill prepared. 😢 I have tools to extract them now, if only I had space for a press... Question with the UFO spacers, those of us with the Billet MTEs, should we get them? I still have two disassembled and can hold off if you recommend getting them.
Hello, it looks awesome! I want one to my GTV! 🙂 BUT will you ship those to your European shop? I really don't want to find out what the import/cumstom fees would land on..!! (i've already spent so much this spring 😇GTV kit, float blocks, WTF rails..) Cheers!
Is there a weight difference between the cast and billet? Is the structural integrity the same? I've been highly interested in the 5" hub, and now im even more interested with the lower price.
From my understanding the cast was designed to work with the spring washers, while the billet is built to a tighter tolerance; with or without shim is the answer.
How is the hub not going to come with the small shaft o-rings? Secondly, I’d like to see a 6” option from these guys. 5” is too small uts gotta fuck up acceleration and overall torque.
@@TheFloatLife please make a video on torque/acceleration between 5”, 6”, and 6.5” I’ve only put a basic amount of thought into it, but I was thinking a larger diameter tire equals more distance traveled per 360 degree rotation compared to a smaller tire with the same amount of energy applied. I’m not going to lie though, after typing this into google it appears I am completely wrong and a smaller diameter is better in every single way. Which leads me to ask, why does FM and car companies opt for bigger wheels? This would be. A great video for ya’ll to put on.
@@AaronDrewwKnifeworks The MTE changes the hub diameter, not the tire diameter, so acceleration and torque should not be affected at all. A larger tire diameter increases the vehicle speed for a given RPM, and it also improves stability on rough terrain. Consider how poorly a skateboard performs on loose gravel compared to a onewheel.
@@garrymullins I think it’s literally just size of the market. GT market is still growing too. Said it costed him a lot of money to make a diecast mold, so if you could only do it once I’d make it for GT too
best 5inch option out there, im getting one 2! can't stand my leaky GTS motor.
just got one for my GTV. Two great minds paired together!

Y'all are doing god's work with these 5" hubs. Now, plz restock the cold blocks! This GTV kit is so spicy even limited to 75% amps
Just received my Enduro yesterday! I appreciate the heck out of everything y'all do!!

Riiiight there with you... The cast hub is cool, but there really needs to be a hypercore alternative that runs cooler.
@@BearlyAFloat agreed.
Ordered mine today (n48 with a 655 enduro) to slap on the ol' GTV. Cant wait to see the performance increase.\
2:25 - Jeff out here telling everybody how to handle 6.5 inches. 🤣
👀
I forgot the let the air out of my tire before changing a stator once and had the bead blow up in my face 🥴😂 I always double check that now
I'm guilty of that too. It's so scary haha
😳 does the force of the magnet slamming into the rim, knock the bead out?!
Hell yes brother! GOBLESS

No, the billet currently use shim
Any difference in performance on the s-series between the mte n52 curved and the cast mte n52?
Proud 1%er over here 😇

Super sold out 😅
Dagnabit! Sold out again! When do you expect to have more cast in stock?
Hoping a few weeks
OOO these are cool. When can i buy one N52 curved? Or is that gonna be billet only?
That old shredded oring looking like the president's ear
Do you recommend adding any grease now that the hub is open?
would the XR version be pint compatible and do you guys make a tire that would fit that config?
Size for bearing puller? 3inch, 4inch or 6inch? Thanks!
I use the 4"

Billet is stronger, but due to the added rubber on a 5” tire you’re less likely to damage it anyway.
I have a billet curved n52 not installed yet. Sounds like these spring washers are a better idea. Should I ordered a few to install on it anyways?

@@mars-void thanks! I guess I will need to check the clearance like normal.

Rent the puller from any auto part store, you just have to leave a deposit and you'll get your money back.
I hope you keep the billet option, not a fan of cast… expensive for who 🤷🏻♂️🤙🏽
Definitely still keeping the billet for those that want it
Is this already sold out?
Yeah, they sell out pretty quick. Re-stock in maybe a month or so?
oooo, is that the "wildcat" tire?
I was just wondering the same thing. Surprised more people didn’t catch it, lol.
Also deflate tire, so when you take the plate bolts out it doesn't explode open, Don't ask me how I know 😂
What's it gonna cost?!
Xr version in the makes?
Jeff posted in another video it’s GT only
I'm guessing the thinking is that if you haven't blown all your money on a pricey GT(S) hopefully you can spring a bit extra for the billet MTE.

After changing to the MTE hub, the onewheel is making this sound:

Any ideas what the problem could be ?
What kind of barefoot shoes are you wearing these days Jeff?
Honestly, not sure. I have a couple pairs that Jake gave me. Hit him up he's got the hook up!
Wouldve been awesome to include the O rings...
They're still 600 bucks though...
Got mine for $360 on CraftNRide
