I've got to say you've got one hell of a little bus there you've got your s*** together both mentally and spiritually it seems see in the world nature and responsibility can go hand in hand you've got it a good soul it seems keep up the good smiles and good luck with your life
This was incredible! I work in the nursing field & I can be a traveling nurse! if I lived like this…I could travel the country & work/make money & home school my son who just turned 2!!! I’d be a bit scared to do it alone… but I think it would be worth it!!! 💫
Buses are great and if you have a budget for it and either a builder or know how to do this yourself it's a great option. However, not all of us have the time, budget to do something like that. So rv's are the next best choice. Something like a Class C rv would be a great option for a traveling nurse.
@@TravisTravels yes! Agreed! This would take a LOT of thinking on my part & planning!!! My dad has an RV that he doesn’t really want anymore… maybe I’ll talk to him about this & start small! Who knows… I might not like it but I’d love to try! I absolutely love your channel & have had fun being able to watch this morning while relaxing! 💫💫💫
Yep, the lifts are great if you plan on putting bigger things in and it is just you by yourself. They are usually about 1200lb rated to accommodate larger people who use electric chairs (which are super heavy in themselves.)
What do you think about the shower in the back instead of the bed?! I think for him because he is a diver. This makes perfect sense. I personally would prefer the bed in the back. But this is still a rad idea.
All my van life friends who had the signature Instagram kitchen/cabinets/bed, instead of a shower/toilet during Kung Flu (when all the public bathroom/showers were shut down) cursed their builders for talking them into STYLE, instead of NEED. Humans can sleep anywhere, unlike taking a shower.
I think it is brilliant, especially for his lifestyle and the dogs as well. That would really come in handy in cold climates where an outdoor shower is just not gonna happen 🤣🤣 speaking from experience!
Awesome build. I am thinking of a bus. My rig is a class c 23ft. Desert Regional is a good hospital. I lived in Rancho Mirage and La Quinta for almost 25 years. I retired a year ago from nursing after 46 years. Enjoy your life!!!!
I chose a bus Over a tour bus due to size. It’s convenient to drive around town; inner city , parking as well as gas milage. Not only that, but with a smaller bus I can go to Firestone to fix simple things & oil changes. In the event something happens there’s a lot more spaces I can take a small bus vs a giant bus. Also build out cost would be much higher. That’s my personal reasons
Killer short bus!! Sooo love the shower "room". I'd have to shave off some space there to give me a bigger closet. What king of W/D is that? Would be perfect for me.
Travis your videos are the best! Thanks for sharing these tours. I would love to collaborate some time and maybe Dona video of a tour of your van. We are here in SoCal let us know would be so much fun 😊
Awesome job... I am on the fence with the shower part, because I'd want my bed in the back. Maybe combine the two. Make a Murphy Bed, coming off the back. Just make a water proof seal... either way, its an awesome build n Very creative as well . . . Im Loving the grass too and keeping that Lift... Does he have an email so that I can reach out ? And Thanks again for videos as well, man

It’s one of my favorite builds I’ve shot yet.
You’ve answered a few questions for me in this video! Do what works for you!
That is my dream bathroom for my bus...🥰🥰.
Fantastic build. Love how he can just sleep in the hospital parking lot when he is on call. Brilliant use of space. Thank you for sharing! 😁🙏🏼💖

Waaaaaw
Beautiful build.

What a wonderful home you have. Thank you for doing what you do. Making it pet friendly is great. You are a great dad.
Great bus/home, where's the bed? I must have missed it
It's at 13:46 marked on the timeline as dining/bed
Perfect set-up!
Love it. Nice guy.
Cute too! 😉
Impressive! I love it.
I'm stealing your design ideas!😍😍😍
Very Nice Build!!!
Now that u've seen this bus remodeling, r u still wanting a bus Travis.
I hope u had a very Merry Christmas. 🎄🎁🎀🤗🙏🏽
Yes I really do! Just need the money lol.

@@republicansreprisal7993 Sooooo true. I luckily had my solar shower bag. Which worked great, but this setup right here is gold lol.

I prefer the shower in the back over the bed. I don’t want to be using the toilet in the kitchen area. Or have the wet bath behind the driver’s seat.
@@squidtrader7973 i agree, but I can see that it works great for his needs.

Imagine what this guy can do with a 40ft bus 🙂
Travis, Happy New Year. 🎊🧨🎇🍾🥂🙏🏽 May ur 2022 bring u much abundance & more. 💓🤗
Happy New Year to you too!!! Thank you so much. I wish all the same to you as well.
Nice build but can I ask you why a school bus over a tour bus

You can DM him on his IG. I’m sure he’ll get back to you.
How much was the build and the bus combined?
I don't remember what he paid for the bus but the build total was $33k.
