The British are awesome! So glad you stopped in to say hello. So glad you are warming up to USA locos - we have a little different take to it all, but i think you'll be a fan real quick!
Thanks...we worked really hard to make this song good. We have a lot more train songs, including a song about "Rly" "Santa Fe" and "Burlington Northern" = stay tuned!!!
@Nathan Tong Virginia Truckee is the name of the railroad company...I believe at one time they had a spur that connected to southern pacific - but don't quote me on that
i have a song written called "Coast daylight" - more acoustic very much in the spirit of "City of New orleans" - hoping to start recording it in a month or so along with video

Thank you Kerry. It really is a legendary short line. I got a chance to ride in the cab when I was up there a few years back. The engineer - Brian - is a huge fan of rockabilly.
@@TheAltarBillies Hey, I'm a fan of it too. That and Country - OLD SCHOOL country like the late Merle Haggard, Hank Snow and others that made train songs and ballads, not this new-school crap you hear on the radio these days. I consider you guys a worthy sucessor to the railroad music legends such as the guys I just mentioned.
