Virginia and Truckee steam train Gold Hill to Virginia City, Nevada

The Virginia and Truckee is one of America's oldest railroads. Originally built to serve the mining industry. Tracks were laid in 1869 and follow a 14 mile stretch of the original line from Virginia City to Gold Hill, Nevada. The locomotive puts on a good show as it climbs the 3% grade towards Virginia City.
