    Hey Rob Rides EMTB! Love that Crestline frame! I just finished my dream ebike build with a Dengfu E56 frame, bafang m620 motor and Manitou Mastodon fork! Wheels are Dtswiss br710 rims with hope rear hub and Dtswiss front. Shimano slx 4 piston brakes stop it good on my North Shore mountain descents! Ride ride ride!

    Great video, Rob. I can't wait to hear what you think of the bike! I've been riding the Crestline 75/50 for the past few weeks and I'm blown away. Yes, it's expensive... but in their full bike build kit, there is literally nothing left to upgrade. It absolutely thrashes up and down and I'm super stoked. Much preferred to my previous Turbo Levo and Yeti 160e.

    • @steveg56
      @steveg56 7 месяцев назад

      Hey was looking at possibly the levo and the 160E as my next bike along with the crestline. Can you elaborate a little bit for me on what you like more about the crestline over the other two options?

    Beautiful bike. Just wish it came in more colours. I thought about cancelling my Orbea Wild 2023 order to get one of these as they have one for sale at our local bike shop here in Calgary and I could get it today if I wanted whereas my Orbea Wild won't come until next year sometime. Their new Crestline RS 75 SRAM bike looks really awesome with the copper / black colour. Love all the components you chose for your bike! Really looking forward to your ride impressions video.

    Dreams? Hope Brakes were on my last bike, current bike and will be on my next bike due to their modulation and power. But if I could start from scratch, the tough choice would be between a Crestline or Orbea Wild (both a yes!), a non-race Bosch, definitely the Fox suspension and between this Transmission ($$$) or a Link Glide XT ($$). How would your dream ride be similar or different? Keep up the great videos Rob & team.

    Meaning:
    Cable #1 connecting Motor + Kiox
    Cable #2 connecting Kiox to the controler?

    Hey Rob. I’m interested to know do those Hope rotors have provisions for a magnetic speed pickup? I’m running the same Hope Tech 4/E4 brakes but I can’t use the Hope floating rotors as the centre of the rotors are so thick when I use a bolt on magnet it actually hits the speed sensor.

    I also want a great e-MTB like this 😭 Unfortunately, I am mentally ill and currently unable to work and therefore poor. Luckily, I can live with my father and get care allowance, but that's not nearly enough for a new e-MTB. I currently have a cheap e-hardtail and am happy to have an e-bike at all and ride it every day, but I just realize that I can't do everything with it that I would like to. I would like to ride harder trails, do real jumps and just feel the great driving feeling of a good fully. It's frustrating to see how many high-quality bikes some people have and live a good life. I'm very modest and don't really have any wishes other than having a great E-MTB fully. A Giant Reign E+ 2 would be enough for me, it's currently reduced to €4129 in Germany and I would be absolutely happy with that. But well, I just hope that I'll get well again and be able to work again and enjoy life. I really enjoy watching videos about MTBs and I find the videos here on the channel to be very high quality.

    Battery weight is way too high. Build yourself a lightweight 1S battery using Samsung 21700 40T that can output 35A. The battery will be small and fit down near the bottom bracket concentrating the battery weight low. I have a similar build and the small battery lasts 2 hours at least. No battery weight high up on the frame makes a huge difference.
