- In this episode of T2DTV, after a bit of a workshop tour we reveal the latest collaboration with our good friends over at Spikes Vintage Restoration. You don’t see many 1500s Notchbacks in this condition, it’s an absolutely stunning car sourced from Mario at Type 3 HQ. Our mission? A full health check and a lowering job, with T2D Bilsteins of course, and a set of sprint stars to sweeten the ride ready for its new owner Eric to take to European Bug-In the following weekend. We get into the swing of show season visiting the Porsches by the lake event at Little Easton Manor for the first time with our trio of slammed 924s. This was great I had a 1964 VW Notchback with twin Solex Carbs mine was beige in color drove perfect I loved it fast too however it needed Five Star Petrol which was not always easy to find and eventually I think in 1966 it was taken off the market. I took my Notchback to Hutchinson's a Volkswagen Specialist Garage run by three brothers who had started up their shop in 1956 they were good people so they detuned it to run on four star but it was never as good performance wise anyway your video bought back memories of the happy times with my notchback thank you Best Regards Andy Allen,
