I was at American Bank Center for Raw last Monday and the crowd was hot from the Rollins promo to the Wyatt introduction. I also saw Jey USO at a bar after Raw and Finn Balor at the Corpus airport the next morning. Good show.
Nice you got a real strong show. Rollins return, Wyatt Sicks debut, McIntyre "Quitting". Otis standing up to Gable.
The Wyatt 6 is the best thing for wrestling. It is ok that Brian and Jim do not like it. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.
Wrestling was doing pretty well before the Bray Wyatt stuff returned. It's the WWE version of House of Black. It's not needed, and it won't make a bit of difference in the long run.
That gimmick should've died with Bray

Priest is not good when he's doing back and forth. He sounds too casual and scripted. When he fires up he's good. That segment with Seth was dull.
Priest lately seems to be trying to channel his inner Roman Reigns. He's almost there. I hope he figures it out soon. I enjoy his potential.
This will not help AEW because TK is too much of a fool to see the opportunity he might have.
It's gonna probably make little TK cry when the House of Black jump and HHH figures (perfectly) out how to book/feud/merge Judgement Day, HOB and Karrion Kross' group.
They refuse to just give Sheamus credit for being good. About the 19th time they liked a Sheamus match and forgot they liked the one before 😂

Jim and Brian are completely wrong when they say noone's career survived the feud with The Fiend. For some it took a while, but Rollins, Orton and LA Knight did quite well after their programs with The Fiend.

I hope they learned from last times mistake. The Fiend was a fun character but he straight up ruined Seth Rollins when he won at Hell in the Cell. Which, coincidentally is about when AEW first formed.

They should have just had the Wyatt family do their spooky entrance. The whole murder scene was just stupid.
Yeah. the Wyatt debut did set WWE's direction back but I believe, even tough they did reference/replay it on Monday, they didn't repeat the angle.
I think the new ownership/creative is more aware of negative feedback from fans. In no way can I buy the owners do not use/look at social media as a one metric to assist them in making business calls.
It's not like when Vince would just fight fans and shove talent, that fans rejected, down our throats anymore out of spite.
They may have shown it again on TV, just to show it and not hide from it but just grow and take it in a less ridiculous direction going forward off of the mistake.
That maybe why they only aired a pre-taped promo on 6/24 and not another silly angle (called an audible).
At least we can hope.

I will be very very surprised if WWE manages to keep up the momentum with the Wyatt Sicks stuff. The last Bray Wyatt run was objectively bad: how do you recover from that with more shit based off that creative / get people actually invested, instead of just rolling eyes / changing the channel
Forget Jim's opinion skip towards the end of the criticism and they're not wrong. I love Brey and no disrespect, but he always talked in circles, and things never went anywhere. Bodies and careers buried with no end in sight.

If Seth didn't remind HHH so much of HBK's body, he'd be mid-card.
I knew it never will go no where after watching a few old Interviews of Brays, he said he works better fighting the machine, and he made a few more remarks that made me believe he didn't care about a title but it's really about sellin merchandise. And that's what he did.
And in my opinion his ⭕️ he would tweet, it's a circle, his stories are ment to gives us the run "a round" they go no where. But the merch will sell.
Hell they only put the title on him just to make a fiend belt and sell it!

Monday night raw was a pretty good show last monday WWE has been on fire especially what we saw on smackdown last friday WWE'S production has been so awesome since kevin dunn left I'm so glad vince mcmahon isn't involved with WWE anymore and has no say in creative glad triple H is in-charge he's been doing great it's a whole lot better than the garbage vince gave us.
I think Priest is doing fine. It’s his first title run and he needs to shed Judgement Day. He’ll probably beat Seth, and then hopefully feud with Gunther for a while, if not the rest of the year.
Drew will be tied up with Punk, and Cody and the bloodline will have their story. A Gunther / Priest feud, if well done, can be a good program for both.
He’s a bad actor, he should freestyle his lines more into something he would say naturally

This obsession Jim has with wrestling being 'believable' makes him sound like a dinosaur. Nobody watches it for that. Hes often spot on, but hes wrong on this. Wrestling should sometimes be over the top, silly and, dare I say, camp. Its pure escapism, and growing up with the Attitude Era, this kind of stuff is great IF booked right.
Priest is a party boy, from all backstage accounts, they need to let his flower blossom in that direction. Heartbreak Kid 3.0.

This story with uncle howdy has to happen. It was pushed soo much before wyatts passing and the bray documentary teased it more. It should be good push especially with Bliss return.
I'd like Bliss to be as far away from this mess as possible. Bliss being connected to the Bray stuff didn't exactly boost her career farther than it was before then. Nobody who remembers that whole situation with Orton should be wanting her to be involved in this stuff again.

Jim and Brian just love to shit on any and everything related to Bray, they've been doing it for years on this channel. What's funny is the same supernatural elements they are criticizing and mocking here are exactly what the Undertaker did for decades and they never had an issue with that. Undertaker could control lights, create lightning strikes, fog machines, was invulnerable.. he was a ZOMBIE MORTICIAN ffs.. same horror-theme shit.
I personally hate this Wyatt Sicks affair but saying that it helps AEW is a reaaally bad take. As much as I don't like it fans online and even the higher ups at WWE seems very positive about it. We'll see where they go with it

One of the most over wrestlers EVER (The Undertaker) had a supernatural gimmick. That gimmick made him a top card draw. Sometimes it gets a little over the top like with Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss but when done right it gets over and people love it.
YEAH THEY SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT BO DALLAS BACK AS AN AUTISTIC RICH KID WITH A RICH MOM! THATS SUPER OVER AND ORIGINAL THESE DAYS!

You know, some wonder if demons are real. I believe they are. And if there was anything that screamed "Hey man, let's summon a demon", it's the Uncle Howdy segment. Bray Wyatt in life was tapped into some pretty dark stuff and all of this energy is definitely going down that rabbit hole.

I think the Wyatt Sicks will be very good because I trust Triple HHH, he addressed this stuff in Brays doc, but THEY didn't watch it.

Not everything can be 80s and 90s tv. Things were just as fake and phony back then. Times change. It's all about ass's in seats and whatever sells merchandise. Remember the attitude era, there was more stuff going on back then and some things were as much or more freaky. Hell, I remember a time when Taker attempted to embalm Stone Cold. Even back in your day before that there was Jake the Snake Roberts who brought a real snake on set and fans acted similar. Taker was around back when you were involved and he was doing freaky stuff. You didn't seem to have a problem with that. The almighty dollar is all that they really care about in the end
