Tony Kahn calling out Vince McMahon for his problematic behavior while simultaneously protecting his friends who act in a similar fashion just shows you how unserious a person he is.
Bingo
Tony is the biggest hypocrite in the business. He takes shots at Vince, but he keeps Sammy, and Jericho and signs Flair. All who should become the NDA crew.
I know that Jericho lies about not doing coke. Tony isn't going to rat him out either because if it got to a certain point, Jericho would put him on the hook, too.
Calling out someone else for the same behaviour as people he likes isn't unserious, it's just being human.
TK gets rid of Punk because he's exposing them for who they are but protects Jericho, etc because of their behavior
Hypocrisy is staggering
I want to hear Brian's story about the Jericho Cruise. We must not give up on this.
Kylie and Nick both are from Chicago. My guess Kylie boyfriend which is also a wrestler probably told Nick this. I believe Jericho tried her
Me too!
Not a hundred percent on this but on k100they elude to Booker t being the one who punched Chris Jericho but then they also elude to Eddie Kingston getting into while drunk with Chris. It's very unclear who they were talking about because Chris is there bread and butter so they were very mysterious about talking about that years cruise. But I also would like to hear the entire story

@@petebagwell6666 I could not believe that Tony allowed that shit show to happen in Sting's second to last match. They should have just given the tag-title shot to Sting/Darby after Kenny went out with Diverticulitis. The fact Tony didn't see this coming shows how ill equipped he is to run AEW.

Jericho is the perfect example of the hero who lived long enough to become the villain. He was one of the greatest of all time. If he retired and never had his AEW run, that's how he would be remembered. But he had to stay in the limelight and now look where he's at
In fairness, his AEW run for the first year or two was fine. His run as champ wasn't bad at all. Other than that, the only tolerable period was probably his ROH Title run.
It's honestly sad what happened to him, back in 2016 and 17, he was beloved by pretty much everyone, now most people can't stand him, and rightfully so.
Yeah he was my absolute favorite. It’s insane just how far he’s fallen just be people becoming more aware of who he really is.

12:00 The story of her telling TK only for him to hush her up to protect a TV deal is exactly the kind of thing Vince has done, which makes it more believable. Not to mention that making someone sign an NDA for their release is disgusting when that disclosure is of sexual harassment.
Right! Regardless of the extent to which Jericho did or didn’t behave inappropriately, TK absolutely immediately covered it up because he knew it’d be bad for the company. That to me is way more insidious than fat drunk Jericovid being a gross idiot.
Not condoning any kind of behavior (it’s unfortunate I even have to state that, but these days if you don’t break everything down, you’re made out to be an “ist” or “phobe” or whatever) but I think what’s fucked up with the shit with Vince is that some of these people didn’t mind taking a bunch of money from Vince, regardless of if it was before or after said acts and/or if anything was or wasn’t consensual. And that money wasn’t a judgement in a courtroom either. I just think it’s a little odd in Vince’s case that people were “too scared” to come forward..not “too scared” to take his money and then weren’t “too scared” to come out later. Not saying it’s true or not, consensual or not, etc. I have no reason to defend Vince, but as someone who has been falsely accused and falsely convicted of stuff (nothing like that stuff) I don’t assume one way or the other unless the truth comes out. Too many opportunists out there to say either way.
An NDA prior to release doesn’t always mean foul play either. It’s always taken that way by people, but there are several reasons for an NDA besides some dark, terrible, secret.
i want to point out that NDAs CANNOT stop you from reporting a crime. that's not what they are made for. they are made for protecting trade secrets. if you signed an NDA and your boss sexually harasses you, you still have every legal channel open to you to speak on it.
@@theghostofthomasjenkins9643 In legal and moral terms you're right, but people rightfully live in fear of having to get lawyers involved if they get sued. It's one of the issues with dealing with Pharma companies sadly
@@theghostofthomasjenkins9643 This so much. NDAs for regular employees mean almost nothing. Just companies covering their ass and scaring people without legal knowledge into silence.
From what I understand: NDAs are supposed to protect corporate trade secrets and certain internal financial information. NDAs that silence people from coming forward from reporting crimes or impropriety aren’t legally worth the paper they’re printed on, but most people don’t know that.
Failure, lies, sexual & misconduct, ARE an AEW corporate trade secret... 😂😂😂
Brainlets in these comments don't realize this. Nothing criminal has happened.

NDA is just a contract between two parties so one party could not disclose any information specified in that contract. Breaking of a NDA results in lawsuit which you will lose in court.
@@meciocio It's a grey area - a contract can't protect you from witnesses of a criminal act, but the act here is probably not criminal, just incredibly sleazy. If it was full on SA, then the NDA could be voided, it's a different case where someone is tricked in to being in a casting couch situation but they were able to leave before anythng happened
Based on Chris' behavior I have no trouble believing he could have gotten into the bubbly while at work and decided to do something stupid while alone with Kylie and that caused the spiral for her. Wrestlers and podcasters I've heard defending him are all doing it on the basis of "I never heard anything about him before" (along those lines) but when did they work with Chris? Five or whatever years ago? People change and he hasn't displayed the same behavior he did previously. He certainly seems to have a drinking problem.

What really piqued my curiosity was when Starks gave Jericho the finger and walked away from him in the middle of that 8-man tag match. He didn’t work with Jericho at all during the match; he didn’t even touch Jericho.
That has me thinking that either someone in that locker room knows something.
It’s that, or Starks is just fed up with putting Jericho over and doesn’t wanna work with him anymore.

To Brian's point, trauma can be permanently debilitating. im a teacher. In my first year, my life in every literal way was threatened with violence by another teacher who was placed in high regard by others. It emotionally cripples you knowing that a devil to you is a guiding light to your peers. It may be a part of life that should just be gotten over with, but trauma can't be swatted away like a bug in any profession, even wrestling. Instead, it tests you. And sometimes just waking up everyday is the only way to pass it.

Corny on the Jericho-Weinstein comparison - “Was this in appearance or behavior?” 😂😂😂
I've never anticipated something this much.
That Punk All Out Scrum/Backstage Brawl combo was my most anticipated Corny podcast lol
As someone who deleted most social media and have no idea what has happened with CJ (outside of light allusions to this situation in RUclips comments on previous videos) I’m really excited to listen to this and hear what’s up with all this crap! 😂
Same!
☝️ this 💯💯💯
Exactly. I've got friends who sent me screenshots of this from Twitter because they know I don't use anything but YT.
"as someone who" !
Same here.
First rule in most jobs is not to mess around with the staff especially if you are in a management or authoritative position. It usually bites them in the butt eventually. 🤔✌
As someone who grew up watching Jericho during his WCW days, this is just embarrassing
41 minutes, this gonna be good!
Brian Last has been saying for years that the truth about Jericho and his creepy mate, Omega, will come out in the end! ..... And its starting to ....
Callis is the creep not Omega. Stop being homophobic.
Brian Last is such a tough guy. Just ask him.
I'm telling you ever since he was abducted on a country road he was never the same....
Whatever those aliens did to him has transformed him 👽
He has no credibility after that abduction story
@@LightFromADeadStargetting anal probed will change you.
Are we sure the real Chris was actually dropped off? Could be a pod person.
He truly believed he is a rock star ...
i am seated for this one
As a younger listener of this podcast, I have to confess that growing up, Chris Jericho was probably my favourite wrestler. It's such a shame what some people you like can do as they become older.
Who really knows what he was doing when he was younger though either. We have no way of knowing what he was doing then, or what really happened here
@@PaulESafelyYeah...
I feel you, Jericho was my favorite wrestler for a long time, but hearing a lot of what seems to be the real version of himself, I definitely lost a lot of respect for him
It's like that story of the hero who lived that long that he became the villain towards the end...
@@PaulESafelyThe opposite can be true. Jericho didn't start acting like this to the extreme until he started getting older.
Yea dude partied like a rock star and hung with rockstars but there are no real stories of crazy sexual debauchery involving him other than an alleged affair that took place between he and Kelly Kelly during his return to WWE in 07.
That's why this feels out of the blue and even Brian points it out: Jericho being a drunken rockstar idiot is very much well-known.......Jericho being a sleazy, Weinstein type is new information that has not been been actually confirmed but people are running with it.
It's 1:36 AM here in Bengaluru, India and I'm gonna push away my sleep and spend the next 40+ mins laughing my ass off. Been waiting for this for nearly a week now!!
Jim and brian need a 24hr podcast to cover everything that happened during their break.
What convinced me that there might be some truth to these allegations is the fact that Kylie Rae only had one match in AEW. At the very first PPV. And she still asked for her release. Why would she do that after just one show and one match?
Jericho’s problem is that he always has to be the center of attention and well wish granted lol should’ve kept your mouth shut Chris 😂
The situation is so bad now that on the January 10th episode Jericho ran down for a save followed by a 2 minutes brawl and they blasted his song the whole time to make sure no one would boo him...
Everrrrythiiiiiiinnnnng is Greeeeeeaaaaaaatttttttt!
Tony was shivering like a scared dog in his raggedy hat and sunglasses.
Ha.
After the day I’ve had today, this is much needed. Thanks guys.
And then Tony appeared at the media scrum in cosplay to answer this serious allegation. What a clown. I bet WBD can’t wait to rid themselves of this unprofessionalism.
I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the WBD meeting rooms - for all the fan talk about being the #1 show on the night (because now apparently the key demo is the only thing that counts...), it's also a show that drove off a big advertiser (at least one that we know of, possibly others), constantly fails to finish on time, even when they arrange to go over, when the company requested a show was built around one talent the executives drove that talent off, the inability to rein in the language used by the talent... I can't shake the feeling that they will try to lowball Tony Khan who will lose his mind!
I can’t wait for Chris Jericho to narrate his own episode of the Dark Side of the Ring.
Either retire a legend or stay long enough to see yourself become Chris Jericho.
Sting had the same look of disappointment when Jeff came out drunk/high at their match🤣
“Andrade was punching people!” 😂
It is interesting that her departure from Impact is roughly around the time that Impact and AEW start working together too. If there is some issue and that has freaked her out to the point that even the association with AEW is something that would cause her to want out of another company, then that's not a glowing endorsement of AEW as a company to associate with.
End of the day, it's comical how badly Jericho has fallen from grace the last few years. He's a guy in his 50's desperately trying to hang on to relevance and convincing people he still has it, when it's obvious he doesn't. For all his rock'n'roll references, he's basically the pro wrestling equivalent of current day Vince Neil at this point.
Jericho is pretty much the Vince Neil of wrestling.
Vince Neil of today? Yes.
Considering he had an affair with Kelly Kelly (half his age) in the early 2010s, learning this about Jericho didn’t shock me at all
You sound bitter
Nothing inherently wrong with age gaps in relationships.
Not that I’m biased or anything. 😏
Batista gave her the spine buster
To be fair, almost every wrestler passed around Kelly Kelly
This is so bad, Hulk Hogan has banned Jericho, and Tony Khan from Hogan’s Beach Shop.
I can't believe I'm not seeing anyone mentioning the room number behind Jim in the thumbnail 😂😂
What really makes this scenario odd is that usually in AEW you can’t get people(Tony, the talent, etc)to stop talking about something even if the situation calls for silence. Now this hit and they’re not saying anything. Either they learned their lesson or there’s more to this.
A little column A) and judging from the word around the campfire regarding the Gropeatolla of Rock and Rolla a little column B)
Chris Jericho-Ric Flair-Don Callis-Marty Scrull-Joey Ryan-Chasyn Rance-Dustin Rhodes-Darby Allin-Kenny Omega… I sense a pattern here in AEW.
Dustin??
@@hkh7681I don’t remember what exactly he was accused of but I believe whatever he did happened on the “Plane Ride from Hell”. I’m confused by Omega’s name there, I’ve never heard of an allegations directed at him.
@@JoseMiranda-gj4pqhis own ex-wife accused him of getting drunk on the plane and singing obnoxiously with the PA system.
What did Kenny do?
@@InfiniCalendar I remember that, what I was thinking about was the allegations made by a flight attendant (not the one that was on DSTR) about Dustin harassing her.
I saw Kylie Rae at AEW's first PPV. She stood out to me as a potential star and honestly besides MJF, no one else on the entire card really did. Flashforward a few months later she abruptly left the company and I didn't get to see her at an early dynamite taping I also attended. Found it very odd then why she would leave so abruptly and it disappointed me because I thought she had star quality. IF it turns out Jericho robbed her of that opportunity to shine, then he can burn in hell. IF Tony protected him, then I hope AEW goes down in flames.
Yes that was disappointing as a fan and just weird. I thought so at the time too.
She also walked out on WWE and TNA. She's not exactly a trustworthy person and that isn't taking into account her fondness for being at the bottom of the bottle.
@@coltonwilkie241She didn't walk out of WWE, she got pregnant. And quit TNA when they announced a working relationship with AEW.
Did it ever occur to you that her alleged encounter with Jericho could be the direct reason why she had personal issues afterwards?@@coltonwilkie241
I love that ‘Great’ ‘Ding’ has become a running gag.
All hail the Ayatollah of Non-Disclosure.
Jericho helped get me back into wrestlin with aew. He also helped me lose interest with aew
Same here friend.
If Chris held the woman against her will in the room, touched her or SA or worst , then he needs to be punished and arrested putted on trial, but if this is all over him hitting on her then it needs to be squashed. A lot of men have had their lives ruined because a woman all of a sudden had regret and felt embarrased and that aint right. Not a Jericho fan boy btw. I just think in todays world men suffer huge consequences bc a woman gets in her feelings.
Keep in minds Tony didn't launch an investigation after being informed of what happened.
@@DaNxYsmells007 I believe there was. Tony was asked at the media conference, "Has Jericho been or under investigation for sexual allegations?" and tony couldn't even give a yes or no answer and said he won't comment on internet rumors. The Answer should have been as simple as a no if it was nothing.
We don't know if anything happened. But, I can see TK being afraid of losing his tv deal if something did happen. Therefore, he would do what he could to keep things quiet and not get police involved
@@bootneyfarnsworth2844 saying we don’t know of anything happened like you don’t know what a NDA is 💀
It'll be real ironic if/when any of said allegations are admitted to or proven true considering Jericho called Punk a cancer in the business.
The audacity of such a slimeball.
Tony Kahn has chosen so poorly numerous times since the start of his promotion, it's unbearable to watch and support in good conscious anymore.
AEW has quickly become what most of us despised with WWF years ago; all being the result of poor stewardship.
I truly believe history will show Punk was never the “cancer” anyone has called him in any locker room. More that he just saw people’s bullshit, wouldn’t tolerate it, and called it out.
Its kind of revealing how many men tell on themselves. Yes, its harrassment to lure your coworker to a hotel room by telling them there will be other people there and hit on (maybe more, we dont know) your coworker. It's especially bad when there's a power imbalance. Also, there was an anonymous AEW wrestler who spilled the beans about this on 4chan last year.
Isn't CJ an Executive Vice President like the Bucks? If so, he is management, not simply a coworker.
@@jC-kc4si He's not one of them because he probably thinks he's above it.
