@@Sky_Blaze I hear you on that. I was talking to a girl from a dating website and we actually talked on the phone for 4 hours and at first, it was a nice chat. But after a day of talking to her and messaging her, I realized we didn't have anything in common other than our profession. I think all she did for fun when she wasn't working was watch TikTok or lame reality tv shows. Nothing outside of that. Not saying pro wrestling is exactly rocket science, but at least this podcast is kind of like an old fashioned radio show where you have to listen and you can imagine some of the content and it makes it way more entertaining and fun.
Amen. I don't have Twitter, but from some of the posts I see from some of the modern wrestling fans on there on other youtube channels, they sound like psychos. I'd rather have peace in my life and never need to talk to adult children
As a restaurant manager in a foo foo establishment I can say with confidence that people who act like this not only cannot be reasonable in any way shape or form, they will blatantly lie and make up entire conversations and actions about staff and managers. Because they know that if they get aggressive and loud enough people will just give them what they want to shut them up. I hate to admit l have done that at times. The worst though is when the company takes the a-hole’s side, knowing full well it is all a lie.

16 years ago, when I got out of the Army, I was working at Walmart. I was a supervisor in automotive and the tire
Center (I had supervisor pay and title, and covered each department when the main supervisors were off). I had a customer bring in a box (looked new), with two speakers that didn’t match the size listed on the box, and they looked like they came out of a junk yard. They were dirty, wires were melted, and the rubber was tore up.
They told the manager they bought them the day before, from me, and this was what they got. We didn’t carry that brand of box, and we didn’t carry the brand of speaker in the box. They didn’t have a receipt, either. I explained all of that to management, and I had explained I wasn’t at work the day before (when they supposedly bought it). I told management to pull it up in video. Customer yelled, and said they were Offended I called them a liar (I didn’t directly call them a liar, just said we didn’t sell the item). Manager caved and gives them the $200 they said they paid 🤦♂️
@@tommyfraz. Years ago l worked part time in a sporting goods store that also sold hunting, fishing and camping goods, including firearms. We had a guy who came in and bought a 50 round box of 9mm and the next day brought it back, having fired one round at ‘the range’. The casing was cracked and bulged out. I asked him if it blew his pistol up. No. Did it bulge the slide or anything? Damage the frame? No. Hmm. Well, what kind of gun were you shooting. A Glock 22. Umm, sir, that is a .40 S&W caliber, this is 9mm, no wonder it blew out the casing, the round is too small for the gun. Are you calling me an idiot? I know what caliber my gun shoots. 9mm like every pistol does. 😯 Sir, there are many calibers for modern pistols, and the gun you said you own is not a 9mm, its a .40 S&W and we cannot accept ammo returns per store policy as it is. Are you lecturing me about guns?! I know more about guns than you have forgotten. Where is your manager!? Fine, l got spineless on duty, who let him not only return the unsellable box for his money back, but GAVE him a new box of 9mm because the guy ranted how I called him a liar, was rude and called him stupid, etc. The worst part was after the moron walked off and I told spineless he not only violated company policy, but did it twice by giving away ammunition for free, as well as being an ass for not standing up for me. He just shrugged and walked off.

Ok I might have stepped in something here with my comment. I had been in the food service biz for most of my life as has my friend Thor. We were talking about celebrities that we've waited on and which ones that were cool and others who were less than human. We got on the subject of wrestlers as I had worked at a hotel that had the some of the Nitro crew had stayed at. Granted I missed that whole stay but the whole staff said all of those guys were awesome. My buddy said he has a similar experience at a hotel he and his wife had worked at somewhere in the south years ago. He said all of the guys were great except one jerk who was an asshole to his wife who worked at the front desk. Give you two guesses who that was.
Granted I wasn't there, nor was I there for the incident this vid was talking about. All I'm saying is that I think we could do a reality show where we put Jim Cornett, Chris Jericho, and James Gordon in a Ford Taurus and have them order through various drive throughs across the country =D #ismellmoney

I’d love to know how he starts these interactions. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a dick right away to these people and so they respond in kind. I can’t think of a single time in my life interaction with people in these jobs where I was nice to them and they responded like he says people responded to him.
