Nandi is fascinating to me (and a lot of other people as well). I could watch her all day. At the tender age of 12, she reflects positivity (unfailingly displays a love for what she's doing), a true understanding of rock, a supreme competence with the task at hand, a personal humility (that is so lovable), a love for her audience and a respect for the other musicians. Here, she does the job better than many pro musicians could. Her performance here was clearly first class. The most important aspect of all this was that the song simply rocked, and rocked hard with her contribution.
Indeed. I’ve been around many blocks and usually when a band has a non-professional in their midst they’ll lean into that person in the event they’re a weaker link on stage but with Nandi, despite her being only 12, they’re just playing like there’s another professional musician.
@@AndrewJamison79 Tbf you really can't see it except for a few seconds from this angle, lol. The video on Nandi's channel that her dad took of this performance shows it from a backstage perspective and you can see the jacket better. I loved that detail as well. So wholesome. RIP Taylor.
It tears me up remember watching the video when Taylor stood and was all smiles during everlong...she really made not just Taylor but the rest and all of us as fans appreciate and support her. Rip Taylor. You were loved by more than you knew.
She will be the best female drummer in the world she will go far .I love how Dave Keeps looking back to see if she’s ok the FooFighters love that girl and have the upmost respect for her talents she has .Nandi oozes confidence in her ability to keep up with any other drummer and maturing fast as a musician ,the beauty is she really enjoys what she does .I am sure we will see more of Nandi on the music scene and Dave Grohl will be giving her all the encouragement he can .

Right before this she got a personal clinic with friggin Chad Smith and Josh Freese, she’s basically been in the presence and teachings of some of the modern greats, something most adults let alone pre-teens ever would get, in other words in great hands which comes across with such poise that where most amateurs on this big a stage would be given a short leash, the Foos know they gave pretty much all but a professional back there and can confidently lean into it.
Some wonder why Foos are so big. It’s because they care about each other and their fans like family. If there’s one rock star to hang out with at a BBQ, DG would be it.
