Sorting out my GoPro issues! Windslayer vs Media Mod

Trying to get my wind noise issues with my GoPro Hero 12 under control, comparing the media mod to the windslayer, what do you think sounds better?

At normal volume on my desktop speaker, I was hard pressed to notice a difference between the two. For wind noise you might be better of using a gravel/road bike to get some speed. sure to get some funny looks wearing a full face on the road!

Windslayer is definitely clearer, less muffled sounding, but with the low speed of travel, the difference in wind noise reduction is minimal.

Kind of surprised me but the windslayer sounded way better... did you have your media mod set to rear mic?

Media Mod was set to front+back mics. Front only doesn't pick up talking to the camera and rear only doesn't pick up the trail sounds that great. Think I'll be going with the windslayer!

@@ToogyHowser Try rear only with Mediamod. In my experience the front mic only pics up windnoise.

windslayer, no wind and the sound was crisper . you could hear the tires over gravel

Winslayer but marginally better. seemed like the MM had more of a hollow sound
