I just bought form front headlights for 2022 Tacoma.

The rear LED backup light could be better made because it’s too small.
What method did you guys use to block out the factory bumper?
Tacoma lifestyle, when I opened the box there were some small defects on the inner middle of the plastic on each tail light. It might be where the plastic is separated from the mold. It's like a scuff mark and I had small cracks in the plastic but it was not on the surface but in the middle of the plastic. For everyone else, I just installed mine. Here are 4 pieces of advice. 1.) I recommend using the thread wells that come on your stock rear tail lights. The ones that came on the Tacoma Lifestyle tail lights were stripped very easily and seem to be shallower and consist of a weaker metal such as aluminum or some alloy. The stock thread wells are deeper and more durable. To remove the stock thread wells, simply lift the little tab in the middle and the clip should slide off easily. I learned that the hard way. You don't have to "muscle" it off. Think and use finesse. 2.) Keep accountability of which screw comes from where so you are not creating other thread paths on the screw or in the thread well. It's not that important but I didn't think of it until after the fact. 3.) Ensure your new tail lights are not loose before you close your tailgate. If they are too loose it may nick, scratch or even crack the tail light. It didn't happen to me but I thought if it happened to someone else I could prevent it if I mention it here. 4.) He is right about that third plug, it's a pain in the taco. I used one of the bolts to help push the plastic tab down. I hope this info helps Tacoma lifestyle and everyone else. 😁

Look fantastic! 2 years is a bummer on the warranty thou. Especially when on a brand new Tacoma, I think my toyota comes with a 3 years on my truck.

Yup , my Morimoto x Meso are SUPER BRIGHT. The reason I won’t be buying these.
That is a good point, This was filmed in the daylight, We will have to do a comparison to see what they look like at night compared to like the alpharex and the Meso Morimotos

Pretty good looking, but I wish you left off the 3 little ridges/protrusions on the side of the tailight. Otherwise, perfect.

Anybody have any fuse issues with these?
Just got these for Christmas and installed them. They look great, but it's kinda lame they don't do the startup sequence if you keep your lights on auto like I would assume 99% of people do. You have to actually toggle your lights from off to on or auto for it to work.
They look better than Alpharex but I still like OEM the best lol

Back up lights look to be quite small thus poor illumination???
The reverse lights don’t look as bright as the Morimoto/ Meso tail lights I bought from you awhile back. These look cool but I would like to see a good video shot of reverse light brightness.

Quality is horrible! Don’t do it! The seals suck! Start up sequence doesn’t work all the time!

So form is a company that was bought by diode dynamics. Not sure where they are made but everything that DD puts out is quality. You shouldn't have an issue with these.

@@kinglygaming728 I saw on their instagram that the start up sequence only works when you turn the lights all the way off and all the way back on. So if you run them on auto or have the drl’s on it wont have the sequence
@@franciscoguz08 Yes that is Correct sorry for the late response but you need to turn the lights all the way off and all the way on for it to start.

It only does if you actually turn your lights off. Most people just keep lights on auto, so it will never do it.
