Its a family tradition. My kids and i have watched together for almost 29 years and the 6 and 10 yr old grandbabies have been watching almost their whole lives

It only took four tries to get that tissue paper taped to paper through the printer, but it came out awesome. Hocus Pocus is one of my favorite movies. I don't know how often I saw it already. It is a must for Halloween-time, but also at any time of the year. And I am looking very happy forward to part 2 :-)

My previous business with my partner, she is the one who came up with the original candle like this, made like this on Etsy 2 years ago but unfortunately everybody has ripped her off.
@@crybabyjuju aww that’s unfortunate ☹️ were they using her graphics and selling it as their own? I’ve had that issue before with my own potion bottle labels I sell on Etsy. I’ve had to report a few people who tried selling my stuff as their own. It can be frustrating 😔
@@JackieArment yes they were using her graphics and even her photo for the candle then they also use their own photos which you can definitely tell a big difference. It was reported.

Awesome! Yes, I’ve been in the mood especially lately and started watching all my Halloween-y movies early! 😆
You know, if you just pull out the wick of a real candle, soak it in a table salt (sodium chloride) solution of salt and water, let the wick dry and put it back in the candle and light it... all you have to do is illumimate the real flame from the candle upardly from the rear in a dark place only using the light from a small, hidden outdoor sodium vapor lamp ( from the outdoor security lighting section of a hardware store) from a foot or two away from the flame and the real candle will actually produce a black flame instead of a yellow flame.
It is due to the excited sodium ions in the plasma state of the flame being pumped to an excited valence state and falling back again by the frequency flicker of a sodium vapor lamp at and near the same wavelength as the sodium ion's visible spectral emissions released and absorbed by the salt into the flame of the candle depending on a natural or pumped excited state as the flame cools as it exits further from the wick and wax fuel source.
Thus, it is a real candle that will burn with a yellow flame in all places excpet when place in a dark area only illuminated by the sodium vapor lamp. Then with the vapor lamp, the candle will give a real black flame that will cast a black shadow behind it onto a surface.
So... Real wax candle, Salted dry wick, sodium vapor lamp for illumonatiom of candle in an otherwise dark room= actual black flame.
(This is what is known as "Real Magic", btw. Lol)

@@JackieArment , there are some science videos on youtube showing examples of the effect. Some done much better than others. Most using a spray bottle of alcohol with a bit of salt water added or an alcohol lamp with a bit of salt added. A candle wick itself with salt works just as well.

No I don’t think it will matter. The only thing I see being different is, if you decide to crinkle the tissue paper before putting it on the candle like I did, some of the ink may come off a bit if you use an inkjet, but it might add to the “old look” so it might not be a bad thing! 👍🏻

I’m glad you liked it! I believe I just measured how tall the candle was and sized the image accordingly in the print preview. But of course, it fit on an 8 1/2 x 11 size sheet

I didn't know a flameless candle can melt. I thought they we plastic and not wax
Some are plastic but some are made of wax I guess to create a more realistic looking candle. But they won’t melt when lit or anything bc the flame isn’t real 🙂

What kinda printer do you have?
I have a RICOH laser printer. But you should be able to print just fine with an inkjet if you plan to do this craft. 🙂

I was very disappointed when I went to the print shops and asked if they could print the print onto tissue paper, I taped it down tight and smoothly I was told no by two printing shops FedEX tried but it tore the tissue and I don't have a printer. I went to the Library and the gentleman working the printer said no. I gave up!
