Glad Daisy finally made it out of the 48 and across the pond!!! She looks beautiful as always but, with a glimmer of awe her eyes while looking at the Eiffel Tower for the first time at night😊 Bummer weather in England, sure a good time was had with the lovely host couple though. Hopefully she can get the time off for more adventures in the ever expanding EU/NATO countries. Once bitten by the love of traveling, staycations are a thing of the past! lol Also makes for exciting new history/treasure hunts.
Chill Bill is typecast from the droll Englishman in a movie about pirates.Just needs an eye patch,a parrot for the shoulder and the obligatory wooden leg 😂 he's a pleasure to watch! Loved his "Southern"boy accent 😂...😢

The castle you mention at 18:13 is the Tower of London, or the White Tower, built by William the Conqueror in 1078. It was used as a palace, also a fortress to protect the city's southern approach from the river. I hope you got a chance to visit it--it's a super cool historic building! We don't have anything that old in the US! And thanks for showing Notre-Dame. I'm a French teacher, and it was truly a horrible day when the roof burned. I'm glad to see it's coming along well; at over 850 years old, I was afraid it would collapse. It says something for the builders and architects! (No algebra, and all done in Roman numerals!)
I love spindle whorls! I once asked Chill B if he would ever list any of his for sale because I was interested in buying one. He kindly responded to my comment, which I really appreciated, but the answer was a VERY CLEAR, "NO." 🥺 Oh well, I tried... 😁 So happy to see chill B, Nugget, & Daisy all together in a French field. ❤ from Seattle 🌈 That big brooch is beautiful!

NC here, I was a 20 year cop nugget in your county just retired. I went to france when in the army. We stoped at a reat area near the spanish border. We look up while sitting in the grass waiting to leave. 2 girls were peeing between two cars and waved at us. We all laughed. great finds stay safe.
