The fact that the young woman you gave the phone back too, took the time to get you a "Thank You" card and write a special message in it, really shocked me.
You just don't see that anymore with this younger generation, so its really promising to see that some people like that still exist.
That's very true, you don't see that everyday. I'm glad Hanny was able to get her phone back in working shape!
Love and respect still exist. As long as ALL OF US ignore the fake topics of the day meant to create anger and division. No matter what side of politics that people think they are, deeper than that, we are caring Americans. God bless us all.

How often do you replace your AT?
I've been through a couple of them. Love them when they are new but they just seep to lose their gusto after a while and just don't work as well. Bummer.

My husband says the thing you found was off an old tractor. It collected water off the fuel assembly. He doesn’t know the proper name but they used to call it the gas bowl. Thank you both for returning what you could to the people that lost them. God bless you!

Far upper left is a early fuel pump with glass sediment bowl the other item far right is part of a handle for a broom or scrub brush. Nice find Daisy and cool that you were able to return phones 👍

That unknown thing you found is a fuel pump and glass bowl from an old engine. The glass bowl will collect sediment from the fuel plus you can see if the fuel is flowing. The lever that is sticking out is the pumping mechanism that is actuated by the cam or crank shaft. It was attached to the side of and engine. Pretty old...
At first glance I randomly said to myself it had to be some that had drawl or vacuum seal ... such as Old Master Cylinder... But thinking no way it is. a Master Cylinder because top just wasn't right lol....

Old fisherman would use a wide wooden bucket and cut a round hole at the bottom and glued a round piece of plexiglass... makes a world of difference....they also used it as a bottom or depth finder... I found one in 1968 on the shore's of Cuba and it became part of my fishing gear... cheer's!

@15:13 that is a fuel bowl off a diesel tractor. the glass bowl allows you to see if the fuel has become dirty, it's removable and allows you to clean it and the fuel filter.
WOW that was an awesome day on the river, good to see Daisy back on the channel. That device with the glass bowel is a manual fuel pump from back in the day. That insulator looks like a broom handle that was broken off short it also has a smaller dimeter.

That thing you asked about is an old fuel pump. The arm sticking out is what drove it off the crankshaft. The glass bowl was to check and see if fuel was getting to the pump.

The part you found is a mechanical fuel pump and with that glass bowl most likely off of a tractor or generator of some kind.
The item that is Daisy's with the treaded end on it is a handle most likely off of a broom, mop, old school toilet plunger.

The "unknown" object looks like an old fuel bowl off a tractor. You and daisy had an awesome day!
That's a bleeder from a air tank- 15:11 it catches moisture before air lines. They are also under carberators on older vehicles and farm equipment.
Great job on getting all the lost items back. It feels good to do cool stuff like that. Also that weird thing you found that was old and rusted that you didn't know what was, is an old fuel pump.

That mechanical piece at the end is a mechanical fuel pump for a vehicle. It mounts any engine block and that little arm rides on the cam inside and it pumps the fuel to the carburetor.

15:14 fuel pump with settling bowl. Let's you see fuel is flowing and whether you have trash/water in the fuel from the fuel tank. 1930s - 1960ish

Very good show, the metal bracket with the glass bulb is off a old car, and that was on the gas line under the hood. It was a way to make sure you had gas in the gas line before it got to the carberator .

Hey, Ya'll should come to the Brazos river in Granbury Texas! Hit the "Beach" 1st, then the river, which extends out to Horseshoe Bend! I am quite sure that there would be plenty of treasures to be found by the many of the boat docks and party coves!

That thing with the glass bulb is a fuel pump, the glass bulb is for sediment, typically used on old tractors.
@15:10 That is definitely a fuel pump from an old car. My guess is a model T. The lever sticking out rides on the camshaft and pumps the same way an old han pump well works
that hunk of metal is either a fuel pump or part of a carburetor or both. its definitely old since they stopped making the glass float bowls maybe in the 60s and it looks brass which is also old. most likely a tractor but maybe even an old car.
The item you found was a old style fuel pump the glass cup is the fuel bowl. On the bottom should be a wing nut to drain the fuel out. Great job great fun great finds I really liked the old lock thank you for sharing. God Bless

That doo dad you pulled out of the water is a fuel pump from a a 40's model vehicle. More than likely a Studebaker pickup.

item at timecode 15.15 is a VERY old automotive fuel pump {mechanical, lever actuated} with a feature that was definitely obsolete by the 1960s, a transparent reservoir dome.
Wow! USA is a paradise. Many iPhones lost in the river. In Brazil the majority of cellphones are Android. You've gotta have much money to buy a iPhone here.
