I love how you managed to highlight the quiet humor in the conversations the witch queen had with her fake parents, while still keeping the eerie tone the podcast had worked so hard to create. That takes a lot of effort and talent.

This is CRIMINALLY underrated.
Oh man, I almost missed how the branches of the trees form a crown of antlers around Edie’s head the first night. That’s an amazing little detail!

This is the first and only animatic of Old Gods of Apalachia, since I discovered the podcast last Saturday. This perfectly captures the feel of that episode. This is the best animatic I have seen in a long time.

oh my gods somebody finally made an OGoA animatic! I love it! I really like how you drew the whole scenes and not just the characters, really helped the immersion

I’ve read a bunch of the comments here and I don’t think anyone has noticed it and I don’t know if it was intentional or not but when the spirit shows it’s true form and looks at her it looks at her facing forward which isn’t right for a deer because they are prey they have side facing eyes not front facing like predators it’s an amazing detail though putting more emphasis on it’s real reasons for meeting with the her
daughter dooley is my favorite and you really did great here with her and old horned head

This was one of my favorite episodes, and this animatic does a good job of rendering the scene.
For years I've thought someone should do something in a similar B&W animation style for the Stan Rogers song "Witch of the Westmoreland"
