    I just did the front pads and brakes using the other Rimmer video for the F-PACE. Thanks for providing these detailed videos. For the rear, I have been able to get the vehicle into 'brake service mode' but struggled a bit with it. Before you start you have to apply the brake and press DOWN on the switch. Then proceed with holding brake switch down for 2 seconds. For the reverse procedure, you have to pull UP on the brake switch for 2 seconds, not down. Just some clarifications!

    2018 North American F-Pace and a 2018 North American XE, both with the same system. Had lots of issues getting them into Maintenance Mode. Using the method listed, I will add for mine - Turn on ignition - Step firmly on the brake, press down and hold the parking brake release, take foot off of brake, while continuing to hold the parking brake release for a total of 2 seconds, continue to hold down, and step on the gas, to the floor, for 2 seconds. Continuing to hold down, and step on the gas, turn off the car, then back on, then off again, then back on - fast. after the second back on, continue to hold for about a second (or 2ish) - let the warnings scroll (mine where brake pad ware and the normal seat belt), then you will see "parking brake in Maintenance" in red. Taking it back out of maintenance was the same, just pull up instead of push down.

    Thanks for the video. Is this EPB Service mode procedure same for Jag XF X260 as well? Cheers in advance!

    You suggested on Carlton Dennis's page that someone purchase a vehicle under 40k and used under their LLC because after Covid-19 the luxury vehicle depreciation was removed or eliminated. Question for you. If I am starting a LLC for a package deliery and would like to purchase a vehicle for the business. Should I wait till the LLC is established and migrate the cvar over? Is there a benefit to setting up the LLC and purchasing the car this year or wait till Jan 2024? Hope you see this

    Great explainer video. Thank you so much. May I ask whether the procedure for the Range Rover Velar is the same as that you have shown for the Jaguar F-Pace? I believe they have shared running gear. Mine is a RR Velar D300 V6 on a 67 plate. I am familiar with disc and pad changes, having just completed the job for our Mercedes SLC200, also with an electronic parking brake on the rear discs. If you would be kind enough to help with my question about the Velar I would be very grateful. Thank you again. David.

      Hi David, thank you for the feedback, we're glad you found the video useful. We have checked the parts used in the video and can confirm there is a crossover for the Land Rover parts.
      - Brake Disc - LR090684 (Caliper Size 17 - Superseded to LR125902)
      - Brake Pads Set - LR160438
      - Sensor - LR090683
      If you need to order some, please feel free to send us an email to jaguar@rimmerbros.com and we can get these parts ordered for you.
      In terms of the procedure, we cannot guarantee if it is the same as the F-Pace. We do however, believe the process of placing the EPB into service mode is the same, but would advise, if unsure to check with some forums or a garage.

      Very helpful. Thank you for responding so quickly. I suspect my pads and discs will need replacing next Spring / Summer. I’ll have a go as I am usually competent with this job and have all the necessary tools. Best wishes, David.

      @RimmerBrosTV  Год назад

      Hi Mike, unfortunately we are not aware of the procedure for the service mode on a 2020 Jaguar F-Pace. We'd recommend you check some Jaguar forums possibly or refer to your local Jaguar specialist.

      It may be slightly different for the I-Pace. We'd recommend advice from a Jaguar specialist or check out the online forums.
