The easier way no computer needed is to put vehicle in gear or whatever hold the brake to release the parking brake, then you use a broom handle, bar, or a person to keep the brake peddle down and go back unhook the plug to the parking brake motor at caliper. Then do your brake pad change and then you use alligator clips and a jumper box or a 12 volt battery. You hook the gator clips to the prongs in the caliper where the connector goes. If holding it where the caliper has the motor facing you with the nipple for the clip lock facing out the prong to the right is - and the prong to the left is +. You know the clip you pull back the safety tab and then the connectors slides off you have that little nipple that holds the connector on that’s the on you want facing you the RIGHT is - and left is +. You hook up to battery or jumper box (whatever power source you use) and as soon as the piston starts to move you then stop power to it snd compressed the piston like normal all the way in. Now put back together as normal get in the vehicle and turn the key on the piston will push out and set the parking brake. It works every time no issues no lights ok or needing to be calibrated at all.
Bro there's a simple procedure to get it in maintenence or service mode. Hit start button once hold parking brake 2 seconds while holding brake floor gas pedal 2 seconds then hit start button again several times. Done. Service mode activated. What you described was the most nonsensical way I've ever heard of.😂
So I replaced the rear brakes pads an it’s giving me a message to recalibrate the park in g brake , it’s still drives but has those yellow messages that just irritate me. Is the computer the only way to recalibrate the rear parking break?
No. There is a procedure you can perform to put it in maintenance mode. You must hit the start button once then hold the parking brake button for 2 seconds then as your holding it press the gas pedal floored for 2 seconds then hit the start button again. It may take several attempts to get it. At least that's how it was for me.

Hi, I recently had my pads replaced, however they disabled the handbrake without a computer and now I get an error on the computer because of the handbrake. Can you help me?
Make they didn't do it right and messed up the mechanism of the piston. That's gonna be expensive from the way I see, but before going nuts, take it back to the same mechanic who did that clumsy job and tell em your problem...they should fix it, cuz you paid for it, right? Thanks for watching 👀 🙂 🙏
The strange thing is that when I start the car, the problem appears on the computer. After I turn on direct and drive the car, the error disappears from the computer and reappears only when I stop somewhere with the car and put it in park. After that, even if I drive the car, this error remains on the computer until I turn the car off and start it again. Thank you for the answer!
I have this car. do you need to replace brake sensors? I don't see any documentation on needing them and I don't get any warning on my car. do you need them?
You see the tiger, the panther ... Or whatever it is ? Well ... Its a Jaguar 🤣

See the tiger see the panther...dude it's a jaguar that's the cat on the logo 😅😂
I feel confident that I can successfully swap out the pads on my Jag. Because this dude doesn’t know what an actual JAGUAR is, and HE can do it😂😂
Who needs a mechanic when you've got this level of confidence, right?
What side you need to take the screw out

Can you remove the handbrake motor off the calliper and press the piston back in while turning the shaft on the calliper clockwise?
Is the computer the only way to recalibrate the brake??
You could probe it at the connector by if you have a scanner, it's way easier.
Thanks for watching!
