Hello, just wanted to say thanks from the UK for putting this video up. I’m an ex mechanic but retired now. Electric parking brakes weren’t invented when I was on the tools! Anyway changed the discs (rotors) and pads on my FPace this morning no problem with help from your video. Thank you!

So I had the caliper off the rotor and turned off the car before unplugging the clip and the caliper piston came all the way out. Try the steps in your video and many other think like recalibrating the parking brake. I cannot get the caliper piston all the way in, it will go in 3/4 and stops. Even with more attempts with the battery wire touches.....any advice??

@@nestorautorepair thank you for the 2nd video but i think my issue is catastrophic failure of the caliper... The caliper piston came so far out that it was still on the seal but lose and floppy. It took no effort to pull the piston out and off the caliper. So when the caliper piston came all the way out it basically destroyed itself on the inside, the spring came off and ball bearings everywhere. I think it have no choice but to buy a new caliper.
