We were never allowed upstairs at his restaurant and downstairs by his drums they served the most watered down drinks I've ever been served. We always ended up at Cheeseburgers in Paradise and that was fine as the wait staff was always the best.

We are sending what we can to Red Cross for the Maui wildfires, and encourage everyone to do what they can to help people. Praying daily for those mourning loved ones and the loss of homes and businesses. Lahaina must not be lost. It must be rebuilt. It taught people around the world about Hawaiian history and culture. I barely knew who he was and I was surprised to see a British rocker on a plane from California to Hawaii. It wasn't until this video, decades later, that I learn he actually lives there. Been there several times. One of the most beautiful places on Earth I have ever seen. Lot's of artists, craftsmen. cuisine. restaurants. I slept under the Banyan Tree one night. I woke up and said, "I have fulfilled a life long ambition, I'm a beach bum." Someday I'll tell you the story about the last time I saw Fleetwood Mac.
What a lovely man Mick is and my goodness, this IS the time for a HUGE concert with everyone wearing a Lei in honor of Maui and it's residents who have not been so lucky and then those who are still very much alive and need help right now. I haven't been fortunate enough to have been to the Hawaiin Islands but I grew up watching "The Streets of San Francisco" and occasionally they would have episodes filmed there. I remember the early Elvis movies were always Hawaiian-bound in their themes. I always think of those islands as a part of Heaven and destruction or not, they can retain their calm Nature again with human support.
Lahaina has my heart! I lived there on front st. In 76, and 77. It was the most beautiful and spiritual place I've ever lived. My heart is so broken! I pray everyday for the people and pets of our magical lahaina, god bless you my lahaina ohana.

At 1:51, we hear a snippet of "Rattlesnake Shake", a song Fleetwood Mac originallly recorded back in the 60's when they were a traditional blues and blues-rock band with 3 guitarists including the legendary Peter Green, long before Christine [nee' Perfect❤] McVie and later Stevie Nicks (😖) and Lindsey Buckingham joined the band. I love their blues-rock period, and I like the somewhat psychedelic period of records like "Mystery to Me" and "Bare Trees", but they probably should have hung it up after "Rumours". (I include the above information for the younger folks who might not know about the band's early history ---- For instance, did you know that Black Magic Woman was actually a Fleetwood Mac song and not written by Santana?). Anyway, I'm very sorry for the loss of life as well as the loss of homes and businesses, and hopefully Fleetwood and others with a little bit of money and clout can help the rebuilding and recovery process go faster.

Been there several times. One of the most beautiful places on Earth I have ever seen. Lot's of artists, craftsmen. cuisine. restaurants. I slept under the Banyan Tree one night. I woke up and said, "I have fulfilled a life long ambition, I'm a beach bum." Someday I'll tell you the story about the last time I saw Fleetwood Mac.

What a lovely man Mick is and my goodness, this IS the time for a HUGE concert with everyone wearing a Lei in honor of Maui and it's residents who have not been so lucky and then those who are still very much alive and need help right now. I haven't been fortunate enough to have been to the Hawaiin Islands but I grew up watching "The Streets of San Francisco" and occasionally they would have episodes filmed there. I remember the early Elvis movies were always Hawaiian-bound in their themes. I always think of those islands as a part of Heaven and destruction or not, they can retain their calm Nature again with human support.

Lahaina has my heart! I lived there on front st. In 76, and 77. It was the most beautiful and spiritual place I've ever lived. My heart is so broken! I pray everyday for the people and pets of our magical lahaina, god bless you my lahaina ohana.
So sad to see this happen to the community of Lahaina. Mick is, and has always been, a class act and have nothing but admiration for his sense of responsibility to his employees and community as part of this tragedy. This is the type of report that highlights what we SHOULD be as a nation - united, empathetic, and dedicated to helping our fellow human. God bless you Mick.

It’s important to keep Lahaina as an important historic and cultural site and in the hands of Native Hawaiians.
I hope Mick will support Native Hawaiians in retaining their prime real estate in Lahaina. They need advocates who they feel authentically support them.
Investors and real estate people are already knocking on their door.
Was supposed to be there last week. Still have restaurant reservation text confirmations. So tragic. So sad. Our hearts go out.
