- This is one of the most entertaining things I've ever seen. While we were listening to some street performers on Bourbon, it became apparent to us and the other bystanders that the horse appreciated the jazz music like no other!
So sweet, the police officer was was entertaining everyone with a bit of dressage! Since it looks like dancing. A nice way to interact with the public!
hey even the police horses no how to party in new orleans
I've heard about this horse all they in Oklahoma.. Too cool.. 😎👏👍🎷🎸🎺 had to come find and see for myself..👍😎👏

Amazing
TIME FOR THE POLICE HORSE TO SHOW OFF SOME MEAN DANCING TALENT I LIKE IT
Now that's some good old horse power you got there officer
Considering the horrible New Orleans mayor and unleashed crime, the days of Mardi Gras are numbered. People go to parades to enjoy themselves, not to possibly die. VOTE RED.
Good Morning

Thank you
Disney’s Aristocats song where scat cat was singing at the house party. I don’t know the original song name.
That horse hind legs looks really tired to me, no one is riding that young man in the green shirt back and even he had to stop a few times to catch his breath.
🐎💃🏼👍👏👏❤️❤️❤️
Cruel - in order for it to appear that the horse was dancing the officer had to keep tugging on the bit
That isn't Really cruel. . . and if you looked its clearly not hard looks more like him using it to stay on
The bit is just a communication signal given to the horse's mouth. It's not cruel, and not a control device. It only hurts with hard yanks.
Easy reigns = no pain.
Not at all, that officer is a very good rider. These dressage moves are mainly based on leg and seat contact, and even though occasionally they were moving their hands more than needed for that kind of bit, they were always gentle, the reins are loose, not tight. (i think its cause they were bopping to the music that they were moving their hands)
What you see here is a competent rider, engaging with the people around them in a fun way. The horse was probably a bit confused about why they were doing dressage in a street though. haha
