I’ve been looking at these for a while but, like you, decided there are other priorities to take care of first. Still on my wish list though! Machined and anodised billet looks fantastic and is probably one of the reasons for the cost. Great video Phil.

Love the green knob. Great upgrade, it's easy to have a bad shift with the stock one. And that will cost more than the CAE shifter.

Great video as usual Phil… now install a harder torque mount (like the airtec one) and you will see a huge huge difference in shifting while the car is moving (it will shift the same like stationary).
I have it installed too and the combo is amazing!

We have a few plans to increase stiffness in the car as a whole.

Saaali. Danke für die supertollen Videos und Infos. Wie ist deine Wahrnehmung zu den Level 1-3 Leistungssteigerungen? Gibt das Sinn, bedeutend schneller etc? Keine Vergleiche zb 0-100 gefunden. DANKE ✨️

Es gibt noch gar keine Leistungssteigerungen die wirklich funktionieren auf dem originalen Steuergerät. Deswegen gibt es auch nirgends Zeiten.
Sobald wir fertig sind mit unserem Wagen, wird es dann auch gemessene Zeiten geben.

Love it.... Do you need to cut some plastic oem stuff to fit it correctly?
Worked just fine without cutting anything.
But you have to remove the leather thingy with it‘s plastic frame from the OEM shifter.

Morgen ist es endlich so weit, werde denn Shifter einbauen. Hab da ein video gesehen wo der Chef von CAE sagt das man das Schaltgwiecht vor dem Getriebe ausbauen sollte da sich so die Gänge besser einlegen lassen. Hast du dieses Gewicht bei dir oder Kunden ausgebaut?

@@RotheliRacing Sorry ich habe den Shifter direkt bei Toyota bestellt und werden ihn von Toyota einbauen lassen, sonst ist die 10 Jahre Garantie futsch laut Toyota!?! Ansonsten hätte ich den Shifter selber eingebaut. Und leider hat toyota wider mal keine Ahnung 🤣

Love how it looks and I believe it works great, but since I daily mine, the amount of sand my dog will throw into it, it really looks like a cleaning nightmare..
It most likely will be yes. There is a 3D printable plate who blocks that out.

Nur weil du der Meinung bist, du brauchst das nicht, finde ich es ein wenig gewagt, für alle anderen gleich mit zu entscheiden, dass sie das nicht brauchen… 🤷🏻♂️
@@RotheliRacing vielleicht für ein paar Möchtegern Schumis interessant? Ich denke da gibt es interessantere Teile für den GR Yaris.

Und nur weil es andere interessante Teile gibt, macht das den Shifter nicht weniger interessant.
