Please note you must run GSPro first before running PGsimconnector. When you run GSPro, will get the API Connect box pop up after you select your screen resolution (ultra, high, etc). You need to select the "APIv1.0 Control" Button and then you run PGsimconnector. Once you do that, the top bar on the API Connect box will turn green which indicates the PGsimconnector is communicating with GSPro. Remember, ST communicates to PGsimconnector and then to GSPro through the API Connect. Do not close the API connect box. You will need to make sure you have all three programs running at the end: PGsimconnector, API Connect, GSPro.
You never know. I'll bet someone will buy them out. This is why you have to be careful a out who's pushing GSPRO because they may not be fully disclosing their connection to the software. You have people who design that get paid by people for custom courses. They obviously have a stake in it. GSPRO and SGT have a stake in it. To what level, I'm not sure.
Great review. Been playing this for over a year on my Uneekor and I’m glad skytrak users can now play. The online tours are getting bigger. I think the developers really care about the users and they are users as well and designed this as a sim. Not a pc game like TGC. Let me add , the HLI on the settings deals with the straight putt issue. It was designed for the GC2 folks who would have a hard time with putts being offline too much. With HLI on, mishits or misreads are limited in how much they can go offline from where you sim the stick. If you shut HLI off, you can basically sim you putt anywhere on your putting turf which I find way too hard. All the online tours use HLI and for those that don’t want to putt at all, there is a no putt leave. Designed for the R10 people and will likely see lots of mevo+ users go there at some point where they can play.
Thanks so much for watching. Appreciate the feedback. Assume HLI is the same as BLI? BLI has been enabled when I play. This must be why I feel the putting is great on GSP. Putting on E6 is horrible because they don't have something like straight putt or BLI.
@@DreamGolf sorry. I think it’s HLA. BLI is break line indicator so when aiming it gives you an estimate of the break. It actually makes putting easier and is now turned OFF for online tournament rounds. Has made scoring more reasonable. When you are in the round settings, the other option next to BLI is what I’m taking about. Again, I think it’s HLA and can’t remember what it stands for. I just know it makes it Impossible to hit a putt more than x degrees from where you put the pointer stick. If you shut it off, you can literally sim your putt anyway you want on your mat and miss by miles if you choose to. With HLA off it’s probably more like real putting but I find it too hard. Creative golf has a similar option and Refine/Succeed on the Uneekor system putts this way. Almost everyone leaves HLA on.
Thanks for manking this video as took the leap and bought a gaming desktop - a couple of questions please - ONE: do i NEED a paid subscription with SKyTrak to access my GS Pro subscription? If so can I get the Basic one? TWO: my screen looks about your dimensions 8x8? If so as you my target line as a righty is only 2 1/2 from right edge - how did you compensate for this, was it in the SETTINGS (within Skytrak driving range and adjusting the alignment there) ? Thanks in advance and for your video mate
Thanks for watching. I am not sure if you can get away with just basic. I have heard you can but when I had my ST, I subscribed to the Performance Improvement Plan (believe that is what it was). I'd just try it with basic and see. Whats to lose? As far as being lined up to the right of center, I don't focus on the image on the screen when hitting. I just aim straight ahead (2-1/2' from the right) and hit. I have a piece of Black tape on my mat to help keep my line. You can offset the right, but I personally don't like it. GSPRO has settings to offset it if the is how you want it to look.
@@DreamGolf Really appreciate the reply buddy, I also joined the Discord group for GS Pro and asked there, for the record they say that there is no need for a sub, so that's good. Nice idea (will do myself too) with the black tape, again thanks for the reply and many happy hours golfing.

great video mate. Have subbed. Just trying to get a decent enough GPU for my computer to start using GS Pro with my Skytrak. Question though mate: how did you do the circle on the mat around the red dot? Just a lamp above it?
Thank you for the review. I feel that the shot lag with skytrak is pretty bad in gspro. I typically have the standard 3 seconds delay on the skytrak app or other SIMS but in GSPro it just feels that it takes forever like at least 10 seconds. Have you experienced the same? Any suggestions to get it fixed?
Hey i have been having some problems with the skytrak stopping reading shots after a few holes. I will have to reboot the system and it will only allow me to play 1 hole before I have to reboot again. Any tips?
What are the symptoms? Laser dot is still there after swing? Laser dot is gone and top light is red on ST but goes back to green without shot being registered?
Any issues with misreads? On the Skytrak range, I could hit 50 balls in a row and all would read without a hitch. But as soon as I start playing TGC19, I get a ton of misreads.
What's your computer specs? Are you marginal on your GPU? sometimes when your computer is working hard and trying to handle the graphics PLUS the data coming from ST. Try reducing the graphics display and see if that helps. Also, please confirm when you say misread, the laser disappears and the top light goes red, but there is no registered ball flight and then the light returns.

Great video mate, very keen on giving this a try myself. The ball physics look much better than TGC, I’ve always struggled with the roll out landing on the green.
