I typically end up playing TGC with a friend, but I've been wanting to get back into GSPro more. Thanks for the updates, hello fellow MN user. I too am an hour South of the Cities 👍
I haven't had any experience with the TGC other than the video game version. How does it compare to the GSPro? This is the best way to survive these winters!!!
@@HFHGolf I like the quality and choice of courses, but some of the penalties in TGC2019 don't apply as nicely and easily as GSPro does. I have used software online to build courses that work with TGC2019 which was really nice ("xyz Pine Island" for instance). So playing local courses is nice, they do have a lot more courses in GS Pro 2.0 now, and I haven't played it too much. The first bounce of TGC 2019 is still a problem and there's been minimal improvements compared to the console/PC game itself.
Good news. I was able to use GSPro with 15mb DSL internet connection. I downloaded the software and about 10 courses when I had high speed internet. Then opened the software when attached via WiFi to the DSL up north. It took about 8 minutes verify/update/initialize all of the courses. After that I was good to go!
New to GS Pro, love it so far one thing I can’t figure out though is in practice mode how do you advance to the next shot or do you just re-hit tee shots?
You don’t get to advance but you can change the hole by selecting the Flag icon on the top and you can move the ball by clicking on the ball icon and setting it down where you want it.
@@HFHGolf I saw another video where it said you can hit 8 on the keyboard to advance to where you last hit your shot? Haven’t tried it yet but having the ability to drag the ball icon is a decent substitute to dial in your approach shots.
Head over to the discord channel for GSPro. SGT Simulator Golf Tour, the instructions are all there and yo Lu can post to the boards if you don’t find it. Go to the #gc3-blp-discussion under the foresight section.
That is a tough question... I believe you do need a stable internet connection. You can go directly to GSPro and send them an email: support@gsprogolf.com or the Discord group is another good place to ask questions: discord.gg/9yqFCBM. The Facebook Users Group is also a good resource: facebook.com/groups/329744822326298. Good Luck!
@@HFHGolf Thanks. I checked with GSPro and their honest answer was maybe. I downloaded the software and a few courses and am headed north today. I’ll report back if it works.
You download it like any other course. Go to on course practice and select Night Range after you download it. It is not part of a course, it is the course.
@@caseygarven8469 Give Scott a call at Surfthing, they make computers specifically for Golf Simulators and are out past Maple Lake in MN. He would be able to give you some specific info on what would work well. That is where I purchased my computer.
The graphics are really nice. What a great way to spend evenings in Minnesota.
I live S.E. of the Cities, great video, I will keep an eye out for you future videos.
I appreciate it!

@@Alpha718-4.0 it will be interesting to see how each system improves in each upgrade!
Did not know about either the night range or the practice facility, thanks for pointing them out!

@@Tito_1982ahhh, yes, there is probably a way, just don’t know what it is as I have never used the practice mode that way but that sounds right!
Great video!
Thank you!
Are there setting options to select if you want the view to follow the ball or to just stay still and see the path tracer?
Yes… you can delay it as well or turn it off.
It's damn awesome 👌
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Where did you get the interface to Foresight?

@@scondogolf6071 Good luck, fingers crossed 👍🏻
Does the music play automatically? Does it need to be turned on? Can it be turned off?
You can turn it off at the GSPro Home Screen. I have it off always now.
Say you wanted to play your 2nd shots instead of teeing off again, how would you go about doing that?
You select the golf ball on the upper left of the screen and put it wherever you like on the golf course.
Press #8 on keyboard and you will now be hitting from the new location over and over again
@@normgregoire7954 I am going to try that, nice!
Can you play courses by your self in practice mode?
There is likely a way, but it would be easier to play a normal round and turn mulligans on.
Does only certain courses provide night range ? How do u find it ?
You download it like any other course. Go to on course practice and select Night Range after you download it. It is not part of a course, it is the course.
You seem to like that right side on your first tee shots.
I try to protect from the miss to the right. I have a tendency to draw the ball but something I definitely need to work on.
do you have any idea what graphics card you're using? I just downloaded and it's super laggy, so im thinking i need to update mine.
i'm also in the west TC suburbs!
