Tan and dark skinned dolls are usually my favorites, so I really enjoyed this video. I love the one with the translucent skin, she's stunning! I also like the new set up.

Lovely dolls! You have a 'Shades of Tan' collection. I just have the one genuine Blythe, Rosebud, but I am sure more will find their way home to this neck of the woods.
It's fun to see and collect dolls in a series. Maybe you will come across some of those missing ones at a good price. I got Rosebud for around $50 - $60, due to a couple dings on her forehead.
That's what I'm hoping for. I will continue to look. Cinnamon Girl I especially wouldn't mind a few dings or scratches LOL

I love Blythe dolls, I would like If Takara started making more dark skinned Blythe dolls, Ik it’s not a popular opinion but I love the pink and orange eye chips on Blythe dolls

Elegant Ellie is great. I hesitated on her too, but there was a second batch on junie moon available the year she was released, and I kind of just took the plunge instead of getting leading lady lucy. The hair is nice, it just has a lot of grease in it, but I prefer that over dry and brittle hair. With pineapple princess, I combined in heaping amounts of conditioner through the hair with a barber's comb, then dunked the hair in water from an electric kettle in a ceramic bowl (never metal, it gets too hot). That is what really tames the kinky hair. Since she's RBL renew, you can just remove the scalp by unscrewing the top screw on the back of the head and pulling up; it's a new and easy system. Hope that helps!
Removing her scalp to clean her hair is a brilliant idea. I don't do that when I give spas, but with her, that would really help. Thank you for the suggestion and comments.
@@TammyPowley you’re welcome! Since her bangs look fine, I would probably only soak the longer portion of the hair and the ends. You can even swap scalps with other RBL renews for a new look! But not with the older RBL plus heads. Pineapple princess and elegant Ellie are both RBL renew. I have daunting Drusilla as well, so I can swap her scalp with Ellie if I want a more natural hair color, but the teal hair is actually pretty in person.

I was hoping you'd do this type of video! And it's a good point about buying stock dolls for customization. Lots of doll can be closely recreated by customizers. Why take dolls off the market from people who want to keep them stock?
I'm glad you agree. It's a shame that Takara won't put together a MIO kit like Groove does for its dolls. But, that's one reason I suspect Takara might be okay with the fakes.

Now do a video on the difference between SBL and RBL etc... as they all look the same to me.
I still struggle with that. I can distinguish EBL and SBLs, but I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the suggestion.
I find the skin tones interesting.
As a black person I do not find these dolls to be dark,they area lightskinned ❤
