Can you please send a link where you got the elastic bands? I have 4 where the motor sounds like it is running but nothing is happening. This would be huge if it works. Thank you!
Totally last min but do you know why an animatronic would move as normal and light up but stop talking?? This keeps happening to our animatronics. I opened one up today and all the wires are good nothing loose but the speaker just makes a static noise 😢

Start with looking for the elastic and changing it. If there is no elastic you will want to make sure the sprockets/gears are connecting properly. Please let me know how it goes. (Please click the 👍 and subscribe it would help me out too)
Where in the world do you get replacement gears for these things? I have a rusty with 2 broken gears that I have tried to make replacements for and they just keep breaking.
Hey I know this is how you fix one but how do you disable the voicebox if you know? This may sound weird but im trying to customize the animatronic and the voicebox is making it a challenge since it has this loud and incredibly annoying looping howl that I want to get rid of but I cant figure out how without damaging the rest of the animatronic and nobody had ever made a tutorial on how.
Great video!! I was wondering if you knew how to fix the motor on the Animatronic Rocking chair witch that Home Depot used to sell? Her voice still works and her eyes still glow, but she doesn’t lunge forward anymore. The previous owner said they heard a click in the box, then she no longer rocked after that. Thanks for any help!

I have a jack straw Is animatronic. It's motion to squat down in a sitting position and jump up it stopped. Now the motor just click, click click clicks and has no motion
My animatronic moves normally, but the jaw of the head isn't moving. Is that a separate motor in the head piece or would the main motor fix that as well?
When I was putting on the new rubber band the pulley that spins the sprockets popped up all the way and I was able to pull it out and now it’s not working again for Michael myers the rubber bands work just now I think I pulled a sprocket off it when it shot up.
What if the motor on the animatronic just does a clicking noise? This happen after some guy knock my animatronic over, stop working. I just here a very soft clicking sound coming from the motor. The head on the motor doesnt seem to be moving or turning, do you think its the motor? Need help! Thanks!
I have a mister punchy animatronic from spirit he was on sale because he was broken as they said. he has some type of oil on his motor idk what it is what should I do I have heard marine grease works should I put on some type of grease on the motors?
@@MikeFixesThings idk I lost the adapter so I can't test it out sadly I will probably get a new one. But idk what is wrong with it they never told us I don't think. They just put some weird oil on it like lube. So I just don't know. I will probably call the spirit zombie tech squad to get replacement parts

I used to have a a animatronic like that and I accidentally fried the motherboard with a 10 V adapter and I thought it was 6 Vtwo and put up there so I might be getting another one soon but I was sad after that
i have the gemmy with and her head some, it will make a little sound but end abruptly. The sensor works and end abruptly also. I took the box under her neck apart and saw the rubber band, it looked ok, put it back together and she turned her a little and stopped abruptly. All gears looked good. Left it on and she talked a little and stop abruptly again. Don’t know where to go from here. Help, help
I brought another electrical plug cause I lost the one that came with it. Plugged it in and it started working, saying all the sentences it says. So I unplugged that and then later plugged it back in and it just stopped working. I’m at a lost as to what made it work correctly at first and after unplugging it stopped talking. The head and eyes are still working.

The arm on my creep animatronic broke...the metal clips have snapped ....what do you suggest I do?
I have fright in the box from spirit. It works just the sound doesn’t work anymore. Any ideas on how to fix that? Thanks

Most motors have a voltage of 6v

pretty sure it’s non mechanical and attached to a spring, so the spring might’ve gotten stuck
