Add plaster to the water by sprinkling it in not water to the plaster!!! Less lumps and better all round mix

Alginate. It's an organic based mold making substance, made from seaweed extracts.

Plaster into water, not the reverse, if you want proper consistency without the lumps. Anyway, where is the "fibreglass", as per your title? The whole process seems slapped together.
