You aren't just a dermatologist but a cosmetologist too💜never seen a derm so informed about products
this lady rules the school
I never wore sunscreen ever because it burned my eyes. I go to a dermatologist every 3 months for basal cell and she never mentioned thst there was a different type of sunscreen that wouldn’t burn my eyes!!!
@@barbcoleus 🥺 i also wasted so much money and effort on derm visits
Do you know how disappointed I was when I visited a dermatologist and she didn’t share the same passion as Dr. Dray. I was heartbroken. If I had the funds, I would book a flight just to have an appointment with Dr. Dray.
That is totally true! I'm a pharmacist and I had cosmetology classes in college. Dr Dray literally says everything my professor said. That's why I love her content so much - she knows a lot about formulations too ❤
Dr. Dray, thank you for clearing up the new “scare” about hyaluronc acid I see everywhere these days! I’ve recently seen more about it online and was starting to wonder if it was actually harmful for my mature dry skin. I’ve never had any issues with it but was considering not using some products I enjoy that have it. Thanks for not just following trends in skincare.
the last one didn’t shock me at all, as i’ve watched a ted talk that was published 5 years ago, by karen dolva, who spoke an entire segment about the dangers of loneliness, and mentioned the same statistics as you, dr. dray. i just turned 25 last month, and as an only child who was neglected by my family, and have longed for genuine friendships and relationships my entire life, i feel hopeless looking at the way society is headed… VR headsets are the new biggest thing even tho i’ve seen quite a bit of backlash on it in general. i can only hope and pray for all those who feel the same way i do, and hope we all come across good people who we can build genuine, meaningful connections with
I really like your makeup lately. It is very natural looking that gives you a "sparkle" but not an over-done look. :) Thank you for all your work and sharing all your knowledge. I never miss a post from you.
You are such an amazing dermatologist. Quick, effective and not boring at all. Amazing content, amazing feedback. Clear and sincere. What could be better than this? Thank you, Doc! ❤
Dr. Dray, I just want to thank you for all your videos. As a daughter with a mother with serios skin cancer really appreciated value information about skincare. 💜💜💜🌺🌺🌺
These are my fav videos, when you go to TJ Maxx or pharmacies
i’m so happy with walgreens dupes! the cerave dupe is my current favorite and cant beat the price!
I cant believe you post everyday! You're amazing
Good Morning Dr. Dray🌷and to everyone watching😊Happy Thursday!

Morning!
@@DrDrayzdayhave a beautiful day!🌹🦋
I know that I'm late on this but I have to say that your wearing of pearl earrings is a glorious thing. The skin that you've worked so hard to take care of is like the skin of a beautiful pearl. (I'd make it a "thang") How appropriate! You're the best!❤
You’ve saved my skin with your videos dr dray!! I’ve been using gold bond retinol overnight lotion because of you!
Glad to hear this tips have helped 😊
I have too! I LOVE it.
Really would love to try it!
I’ve been using the spf 110 Walgreens brand. I love it. You do have to shake the bottle and sort of mix it, it seems to separate. Other than that, it blends well and goes on smoothly and doesn’t burn my eyes
Is anyone else shocked by how much the Cerave SA lotion in the tub is?? $35 is insane
Unfortunately, Cerave products are neither cruelty free nor clean. No go for me.
I love using vaseline whenever I get razor cuts or on my lips at night It really helps my razor cuts heal super fast
I’m so jealous because the Walgreens and Walmart here (one hour north of Anchorage Alaska) has a crappy selection compared to what you guys get in the lower 48😭😭😭😭
Even the stores in Anchorage (W&W) suck comparatively.
The joys of living at the end of the supply chain 🤣
Does Amazon ship up there?
I always appreciate these shop with me videos. Your detailed pros and cons of ingredients are so helpful. Happy Thursday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a lovely evening. 💕
The one good thing about being pale I never have to really worry about cast from sunscreen 🧴
I'm so pale that they tend to take on an orange'like cast on skin.
@@rebeccariehle2764 Taken sometimes get a orangey cast like with tinted sunscreens I wish they would improve their range that would be so nice especially like wearing tinted sunscreen because it looks like you’re wearing make up and you’re not and this time of year I am not a big fan of putting a bunch of foundation on my face because it just makes my face feel greasy
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Love these videos ❤
Love it when you take us to the store with you, & fill us in with your encyclopedia knowledge!! 💖 I don't care to put aluminum on my armpits, so I rub in a magnesium spray which works very well until it is a super hot day. I will try the benzoyl peroxide wash in tandem & see how that works!
Dr.Dray, not only is your content super informative, you always crack me up. Thanks for all you do! ❤
Thank you for recommending that Neutrogena retinol cream. It's done wonders for my skin.
Good morning Dr.Dray thank you for everything you do. Currently getting my esthetician license and your channel has helped me so much 🤗❤.
Thanks for watching
@jocelyntorres9406 good for you. That’s wonderful. Looking forward to seeing your channel one day. Start it now and let us grow with you.
Good morning Dr.Dray. Thanks for the interesting shopping for skincare
I love that I just accidentally rewatched this vid and actually learned a whole bunch more info. Dr. Dray does not skimp on education! ❤️
That revolution meadowfoam cleanser is AWESOME! Great on my sensitive skin!
The Bliss Blockstar is really good. It does have a lavender fragrance which dissipates quickly. There is no cast and it leaves a very nice natural finish. I have used two tubes.
We always value your instruction and guidance. Thank you so much.😊
Love the Dr S.I shade regarding H.A and glycerin 😎
I’ve had the exact question! Why single out just HA why don’t all humectants have this!
Love that green dress on you. Thanks for this video.
Thank you for doing Walgreens!!! It's the only large chain drug store within 25 miles for me!! Your hard work is much appreciated!! Many blessings💖💖💖
I'm so glad you picked up the Neutrogena 60+ Serum_sunscreen and spoke about it! I just bought it yesterday and it feels very silky and light, and sinks in quickly, making me believe that I need something heavier LOL thank you so much for talking about the cascading hyperpigmentation because that is me. I never really wore script sunscreen Faithfully my whole life and now I am starting to do that, but due to my very fair-skinned and not being consistent with any treatments for the hyperpigmentation on my face, if I skip any step I end up getting it much worse. And I am not by any means a sun-worshipper or out in the sun very much at all. All it takes is driving everyday with the hot sun coming in on my windows in my car. I'm afraid I will eventually have to go to in office procedures and lasering to get these dark spots off my very fair skin.
Hi Dr. Dray! I buy the Walgreens Hydrating Sunscreen in higher SPF. I am 61, with combo skin and my face loves this stuff! I notice that my face is starting to dry out more, though. My makeup goes on stellar with this sunscreen. Have an amazing day❤️😊
I don't know the shop with me videos do make my heart flutter with enthusiasm 😊❤. So many deals and of course dupes that help even better our limited budget 💰❤. I'm not gonna lie i would love that 110 spf sunscreen 😂. Thank you for keeping everyone here company through your Vlogs and educational skincare videos ❤.
Love starting my morning off at work with you :) and my weekends are filled with binging your older videos :)
thanks for watching
Dr. Dray, could you do a review of the latest G&G moisturizers (Hydration Station and Happy Barrier) and the cleansing balm? Been looking for facial moisturizer with no HA, niacinamide and petrolatum. These might be good options for me. Thank you!
I LOVE the GoldBond retinol overnight moisturizer for my face & neck, and body. Great recommendation Dr Dray!! Now wish drugstores carry affordable cleansing oils in (Costco 😉) volume.. have to buy mine online.
Happy Thursday Dr Dray. Loving the drugstore videos!!😊 0:48
Greetings Claudia Smith hope u r well n Happy Thursday😀👍💜….
Morning!
I just recently hit a buy one get one 50%off at Walgreens to purchase the la roche posay double repair moisturizer that I use regularly on my face. While not as cheap as other brands, the sale brought down the price nicely. I was also able to get the Neutrogena mineral tinted suncreen for the face on the sale, so that was good. 😊
I appreciate you doing this, it helps a lot not to buy everything. One micellar product I ran into at my grocer was Micellar Cleansing Milk by Neutragena. I have had the water stuff for a few years and don’t use it, it’s virtually impossible wo some sort of cloth but this is nice, creamy, and splash off. I find myself reaching for it often over other washes
Happy Thursday, Dr. Dray❤
I’ve used the banana boat 100 spf sport for about 10-15 yrs as I do my sweaty workouts outdoors here in Texas. I love the Sport because it does not sweat off ❤
Such Great Information!! Thank you
Dr dray your voice is comforting and what so you think of Olay complete sunscreen spf 30
Good morning, Doctor Dray. I love the Gold Bond medicated Eczema relief. I picked it up, taking a chance. It helps with a patch on my face.
Morning! It is great 👍🏼
I really enjoyed your video. Any chance you could do a video about Hansen's disease? Thank you Dr. Dray and have a wonderful day.
I saw that Olay has a new "Super Serum" out. Can you do a review when you get a chance. I use most of the ingredients in greater strengths than I'm sure Olay does. I would like a serious serum moisturizer that isn't super expensive ($100 and up) because they simply don't live up to the cost.
Hi Dr Dray, can you do a video on Hyaluronidase and all the negative reviews claiming severe complications on real self? Seems like a really strange situation where the medical community is largely ignoring an increasing demographic of anecdotal complication and I’d love to know your take on it all.
The Gold Bond Crepe Erase is fantastic. Been using one arms and it is wonderful
Those lashesssss I’m so obsessed
I only use micellar water in the AM before applying my Vit C and SPF. I had one from Bioderma a few years back and remember it wouldn't remove the swatch from an eye shadow stick! I was amazed!!! Finally I found an older bottle of Garnier and it removed that swatch in a flash. That's my acid test, anytime I get a new brand of micellar water, I get out my eye shadow sticks! Right now, I'm enjoying the Simple micellar water I found at Target. Works beautifully and not expensive!!
Happy Thursday Dr Dray …see you tomorrow x💙🤩
Hi Dr. Dray! Love love love your videos. I went on accutane and have been off of it for a few months. While my skin is free of breakouts/acne, it is lacking that glowy, glassy look. Do you have any tips to make it shine a little more (like yours) and look less dull? I keep my skincare routine simple (cleanser, moisturizer, SPF, sometimes aquafor to slug). I get nervous to try new products as I do not want to breakout! Thank you so much!
My acne prone dull skin LOVES Peach and Lily Glass Skin Serum...it makes skin so soft and very glowy and helps breakouts and lots of their skincare is so good ,,,hth 🤩 Also Pacifica has glow serums and toners and products that are good and nourish the skin but I haven't tried them so not sure about breakouts but my skin breaks out from everything and my fav is the peach Lily Glass Skin Serum and I love the feel of other oil free BHA serums if you can get samples that helps with glow. I heard It Cosmetics serum for breakouts is great along with their hyaluronic acid serum. Also the famous Rhodes Peptide Serum helps the skin and gives lots of glow I haven't tried it yet though.
Yay! I LOVE these videos! Thank you. I'm always curious about store brands. I've been using the CVS version of the La Roche Posay hydrating toleraine cleanser and actually like it better! It doesn't burn my eyes like the La Roche Posay did. The CVS version reminds me of a thicker version of my beloved (and sadly discontinued) Neutrogena hydroboost cleansing lotion. Anyway, I would love to see what good store brands are worth saving our coin on! Thanks for testing!
Love catching you live! Shopping with you costs me nothing (yet) lol
Thanks for watching
I think, I am going to try the Revolution skin care products. Thank you ❤ 4:03

I am no skin Dr. by any means but I suffer with cystic acne, contact dermatitis (eczema on my hands and fingertips that causes my fingertips to crack and bleed), and suspected folliculitis. O'Keefes night cream is my absolute favorite even during the day it moisturizes, absorbs well, isn't greasy, and leaves a beautiful moisture barrier on my fingers and hands). My cystic acne is almost non existent with Trentinoin. I swear by trentinoin and I wished my Dr and derm prescribed it years ago. My folliculitis seems to be ok on my chest and back with Clindamycin topical and then panoxyl body/face wash. I hate using antibiotics long term though.
My feet are super dry and callus easily so the best foot cream I've found is from Soap And Glory. The foot cream is AMAZING.
My eldest has keratosis pilaris and eczema. For her keratosis pilaris the best creams for that seem to be ammonium lactate lotions.
What is best for dark spots. Love to watch your videos. I miss seeing your mom an puppy how are they.
I love the bliss blockstar!!!
Hi Dr. Dray--Aveeno recently changed the formula for the Positively Radiant moisturizer, and I noticed it right away. I used the old formula for years, but I definitely do not like the new one. Why would Aveeno change such a popular moisturizer? I read reviews on their website and many other customers are upset and unhappy about the change. Thanks for your input!
Hello - I've been watching your content for years and love it! I have incredibly sensitive skin and often have severe eczema flares (I'm currently on immunosuppressants for this which are helping significantly). I believe I have photosensitivity reactions to many suncreams - I had a bad facial flare up to Bondi Sands face sunscreen last weekend (this only happens when I'm in true sunlight for a semi prolonged period). Please can you explain why this may be happening and possibly suggest an alternative? I'm so conscious I need to wear it everyday but I'm struggling to find one which is suitable for me - in the past I've also tried Avene Intense Protect and La Roche Posay Anthelios but they've caused similar reactions too. Is there a commonality amongst these suncreams that could be causing the reaction? Many thanks ❤
Happy Thursday Dr Dray and everyone ! Thanks ofr taking us shopping with you . HAve a wonderful day love to mom and Tybee xoxoxo

Hi mary ann Gonzalez. Enjoy your day and take care.

I have such complete trust in your recommendations. I even question my own doctor sometimes thinking "Hmm, I wonder what Dr Dray would say about that".
I wouldn’t compare doctors, because they are all different too, with different perspectives. You go to your doctor because you like & more Importantly TRUST them. Don’t put anyone on a pedestal. None of us is perfect or right every time.😉
@@NatalieG427 That's a given. We listen to multiple experts and decide for ourselves. It's not about making any one person a guru. We can judge for ourselves and go from there. MDs are human like the rest of us and I'm well aware of that.
I know what you mean. I spend every day watching Dr. Dray’s latest video, and I’ve learned more from her in a year than every doctor I’ve ever visited, combined, in my life. And it’s so funny, because on other dermatologist’s RUclips channels, commenters will frequently refer to Dr. Dray’s opinions too. That completely cracks me up. Dr. Dray is the OG.
@@maureengreen617 She is! I feel the same way! No wonder she has nearly 2 million subscribers. I love her no nonsense approach to skincare.
How absolute DARE you look so good in Walgreens' fluorescent lighting! I go in there and look sallow and dead 😹
Haven’t been able to keep up with all your videos! But going to watch this now. Thanks Dr Dray! 🌸
Thanks for watching 💙
I have lots of Vaseline! I like it. Will it help with dry nails to? I get dry cuticles and hangnails often 😬
I must have skin of leather, never had issue with any product. And I always want a fragrance. But really enjoy all your vlogs.
Very informative. What hyalouronic acid serum do you recommend for someone who has very acne prone skin? Thanks for your time.
The aroma chemical farnesol (that can be found in lily of the valley and the secretions of musk deers) inhibits gram-positive bacteria, so is a great addition to deodorants.
It has a very faint, pleasant smell.😊
So which deodorant has that?
I love these videos
Thanks for your updates & expertise. Unfortunately, anything with Hylauronic Acid leaves my mature dry skin drier.
Me too. The data I have that it dries you out is my experience. I don't need any other data. I've tried it again and again.
@@Skirkly FWIW, after cleansing & moisturizing, I've recently added a little Palmer's Balm (Shea is my fav, balms are solid thick) to face lotion (Pond's is my fav), I sometimes add Glycerin (for glow). Anyway, smush them together & apply anytime of day to body & face. Adjust % as you see fit. Foundations also work over it wonderfully.
Could you please review Hanacure wash off mask? There’s many reviews out there but i trust you 😅
The Gold Bond crepe corrector is very effective
Im a beauty consultant at Walgreens and had a man come in yesterday who grabbed a tin of bag balm. He stated he gets out of the shower and puts it all over his face and neck etc. He said he was told to do this from someone very into skincare. Im in m y mid 50s so I'd say he was at least in his early 60s and omg his skin was beautiful. Anyone else ever used this or heard of someone using it?
Had to look up the product and its ingredients, and its an alcohol-free and fragrance-free product of very emollient ingredients: Petrolatum, Lanolin, 8-Hydroxyquinoline sulfate (3%) (-has antiseptic properties), Mineral Oil. Dr. Dray often recommends using Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline) as an emollient 'sealer' of sorts after apppying your moisturizer to lock in hydration and prevent Transepidermal water loss (the loss of moisture from your skin), tho she may caution with Lanolin as some people may be allergic to it. Aquaphor is a similar product that also has Lanolin, so if youve already tried that and had no issues, the Bag Balm might be a good alternative for plain Vaseline/Petroleum Jelly or Aquaphor.
I'm curious (after watching Dr Dray - who LOVES Vaseline!) that maybe it is holding in the moisture to his skin so well - so he is super hydrated - maybe keeping it plumped up?? I hope the Dr comments on it - I'd like to know too!
I’ve used bag balm for years on my feet at night.
Want to try gold bond retinol for my aging hands
Hello Dr Dray, I love your videos. Can you please make a review on Adipeau cream. Thank you so much ❤
She has made a counter to that video
Hi Dr . Joy products is it safe to use for beginners. Have dark spots from acne
I love your mind!🥰
Please please could we also have a bug & spider/tick bite video? I'm already covered in hydrocortisone & no one else here even has skeeter bites yet. We have west Nile & rocky mountain spotted fever risks here, so I know DEET is a must, but I'd love to know more about it, skincare tips if you have to wear it daily (if I'm in my backyard, I have to use it, even in the AM), and if it needs to be removed more than in an evening shower. And any other remedies than hydrocortisone or if certain bites match with different treatment products. Also if there are times to use natural bug repellent. It is useless against the main bugs, but seems to help keep non biting insects from bothering me when I'm foraging or out in the wild in an area that doesn't have many mosquitos (it's very arid here), but it's possible that's just my imagination. I am very outdoorsy, but the older I get, the more the bites are interfering with my general well being, but I'm nervous to use much more DEET than I already do. All my products (4 different options lol, none w spf btw ☺) are 25%
Try doing a search, dr dray bug. She does have videos. For spider bites, I've seen pediatrician channels address them.
I bought the gold bond crepe erase for body and I cannot use it ! My neck and arms were very itchy and I developed a rash from it 😢. I don’t know what caused the reaction . I am going to try it on just my legs and see what happens . You always have great information ! 💜
It does have some fruit/plant extracts that might not agree with you.
"Great, the cinematics we came for..." 😂😂😂 so funny!
Are ceremides in dupes for cerave the same quality? Or is the MVE technology in cerave superior?
happy Thursday guys xo

I'm not sure if you noticed that you recommended a Coppertone Sunscreen which is also a gradual tanner 😅 I have tried the spf 30 version and I did not find it to be fast absorbing! I felt sticky and greasy for hours. I believe the product also has like a mica or pearlescent glitter that makes you looks shiny/shimmery. Might be cute for a beach day, but it won't be an everyday sunscreen for me, especially with the tanner in it
Are you referring to the Coppertone Glow sunscreen? I have it and had no idea it’s a gradual tanner. It got in my eyes and burned terribly. Most sunscreens burn my eyes but I want to toss that one every time I see the tube in my bathroom.
@@lisaguineau149 yes! There are 2 versions, the glow shimmer, which is not a gradual tanner, then there is one called Coppertone Glow, protect and tan, which is also self tanner. The one I have is very greasy, so I don't think it would be good for the face and it would probably run into eyes easily
Well love this video dear Dr Dray ❤
Walgreens ❤ love Walgreens. Lemme tell you the clear face from Neutrogena broke me out. Then I did buy the One Neutrogena in the stick for face n body at Walgreens and voila! Face , body doesn't break me out. I added to my sunblock collection 🎉😂❤
Dr. Dray I love your videos!!❤ I have a question. What do you think of the CC Cream Perbell? Have you ever tried it. And if not could you do a video of it? Everyone raves about it. But I have sensitive skin and am hesitant to try new products. Unless you're recommending them of course.😊 Just wanted to know your thoughts of the product. Thank you for all you do Dr. Dray❤
I don’t think Dr. Dray uses a liquid makeup. I’ve never seen her mention any. She does wear tinted sunscreen though. My Aunt wears Purebell, and loves it. ☺️
She's reviewed some bb/cc creams over the years but yes, she does tend to use tinted sunscreens. The perbelle seems to have fragrance and botanic extracts in it and there are channels that have reviewed it though they aren't derm ones.
Hello i watsh you from Egypt i admir your program keep going 👍
My skin became dehydrated after using face care products that contain hyaluronic acid. At first, they were great. After about a few months of usage, I noticed my skin was becoming chronically dry. I've never had issues with dry skin, so I knew something was going on. I had a feeling in my gut that it was the hyaluronic acid. I switched to some products without hyaluronic acid just to see if I was wrong. I was not. My skin became balanced again. Idk why my skin reacted so badly to hyaluronic acid in comparison to other humectants. However, I'm going to avoid it.
Hi! Random question but I saw a company called spotmyUV which is a small circle skin patch that turns purple when you need to reapply sunscreen . Would love to know what you think about it!
I've seen shorts on this from scott walter md, 208skindoc and denverskindoc.
I have an odd question. Are there any ingredients in skincare products to look out for that could contribute to hair loss at the hairline? I started using minoxidil on the hairline after I noticed changes in my hairline. It actually improved my hairline acne, but hasn’t significantly caused my hairline to return to what it was. (Female, early 30s, on spironolactone, nutrafol. Seen multiple derms but unable to give me a definitive diagnosis.) I’d just like to make sure I’m not using anything on my face that might be contributing to my hairline recession.
Some products can be drying to the hair and lead to breakage.
I have been very curious but skeptical about the revolution skincare. They have always been a slightly cheaper makeup brand so I can't see how their formulations would be top-of-the-line.
Yep. Idk if I trust a 1% retinol at $10 price point.
I haven't checked but I wonder if they are made in China. That could account for the low price. Elf products are made there (at least the ones I've checked).
Revolution is a big brand here in the uk, they do skin care, hair care and makeup. It’s. A really good brand with great products and amazing ingredients without the big brand price.
Gold Bond also does a retinol body lotion that has niacinamide. It's not $55 like the Necessaire
It’s my favorite!!! Doesn’t leave you sticky and keeps you soft all day long
It's not a drugstore brand but can you test a brand called Genucel? And can you try the Jones brand from Bobbie Brown? I'm intrigued by it and the application
Can you come to the UK and review some products and stores i.e.poundlane, boots
The bioderma micellar water is great I hate the garnier one lol
