@@dellayed2 from what I've heard is that Russia has more than 300 of them and a lot of countries bought them in big numbers like Algeria and Morroco (they are very strong countries don't get me wrong) and also they are 2 times cheaper than Abrams
@@Skinok_skin 300? Nope. Only somewhat around 30. China bought them and cancelled deal after it turned out that T-14 does not work as promised... Mass production never started.
@@majorbombas yeah I checked and was wrong there is around 40 of them and these deal didn't happen, also they are still working on it so it needs couple years to finish and start working on mass production
@@Skinok_skin I doubt that it will go anywhere. Even the last "propaganda" video from Russian Combat Approved videos about how great T-14 is, shows how unfinished and unreliable this thing is. Like how they mounted a camera on the barrel and it was shaking like crazy(it didn't supposed to happen at all), or how touchscreens were not responsive at all to what gunner was doing. Or how much rust there was already forming inside the crew compartment. Im sure that if they were filming propaganda for russian tv, they would at least choose the T-14 in best state, and if this is the best state then im not worrying about it having any future.
As for now, russia seems to be interested more in modernizing T-90 tanks. I won't be suprised if in next year or two, they will introduce T-20... An heavy upgrade of T-72... I meant T-90... with the same hull as T-7... T-90 but with turret where autoloader is not in the same compartment as crew, but in the back of the turret. They already tried it in T-80 modernisation, but lack of funding killed project of new turrets... And now after a failrue in Ukraine they might consider it actually being something worthy of trying. But it might be too late.

T-14 Armata is 20-30 years ahead in terms of technology compared to it's rivals. The AESA radar is basically a third eye, let's say an enemy combatant is hiding in the forest, you normally wouldn't see it even with thermals, but the radar scans everything an creates a 3d image, where it can automatically detect targets.
Dude thinks it takes 20-30 years to stick AESA radar on a tank. Meanwhile, Russian planes and ships haven't been at the forefront of success with their radars.
Regardless, there aren't any significant numbers of T-14s

I just want to say that A10 was , is and will be used only in zones of total american aerial supremacy and with zero AA defense ! any soldier with a manpad will put it down . Russia have layer after layer after layer of AA systems . you will never see an A10 shooting at a T14 . A10 is not the plane to go through such formidable air defense .

That T-14 isn't bad it's just they haven't proven any of this in real life. It's a good tank but Russia needs to find a way to make it more affordable they can't keep spending a ton of money on this tank it's too expensive for their economy. They need to focus on other weapon systems and issues with current ones this is too much. If what their saying about the tank is true than good job russia! Yet you need to focus more on your economy. You should also try to form better relationship with USA instead of trying to use them as puppets. It should be genuine many Americans and Russians of the kind would agree.

The a10 has a 30mil with around 60mm of pen the tank looks pretty armoured so i dont think it will work

I dont think a10 would not work because t-14 have strong frontal armored to protect crew and it has a missile to shot down enemy aircraft

U cant defeat this tank with 30mm u probably need 60mm and that also requires a range well beyond 12km to be undetectable and dont forget bullet height drop, in another words, railgun can do that but u can t mount a railgun on a plane or jet so its still practically impossible and the railgun need to be incredibly energetic to reach well beyond 12km without losing velocity or bullet height drop so laser weapons maybe?
