The Most Underrated Fish In The Ocean! (Jack Crevalle and Barracudas from Florida Pier)

- Jack Crevalle and Barracudas are some of the most underrated fish that can be caught in Florida. They fight hard, strike aggressively and are hardy enough to be caught and released. On this day we also catch threadfin herring which are used as bait and the common snook. It was an awesome day of fishing at Juno Pier.

Hola🤗😀😎😱🇲🇽🇲🇽
Good to See that You Guys throw them Back. Good Job Guys
Soft
They are literally GTs no idea why people don't really fish for them. TBH a 6 inch blue runner or crevalle fights harder then any largemouth
Marco P careful, you might piss the bass guys off. Lol
JunoRyan haha 😂
Marco P & JunoRyan
Hey... ain't NOTHIN fight like a good ole Largemouth Bass.. Nothin! Besides Snook, Reds, Cudas, Bonita, Spanish and king mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Pompano, Permit etc.....
Honestly a 10 inch crappie fights harder then a 16 inch bass
try out Steelhead
Y'all take jacks for granted. I'd love to have them here in south GA like you guys do. They really are a blast

Caught a real nice shark off that pier last night! Great spot
Do you guys know anywhere were i can buy cheap spoolteks?
I love how afterwards the fish told the guy what he thought of him using pretty four letter superlatives!
It was listening!
Yeah I want to buy a chest mount for my GoPro. So I can record pier fishing vids like this even though I don't do it a lot. And just regular fishing and hunting vids.
New to your channel! love it!!! I'm just wondering why two of the guys wear bandana's covering their faces? Are the harden criminals or are they playing hooky from work. 🎣🎣🎣
Glenn Who , Phoenix , Az. Haha, just use them to stay out of the sun! Works better than sunscreen and you don't have to reapply!
what rigs
Ryan, what size egg sinker are you using? 2oz?
blownZ713 yeah, I usually use a 2 or a3
We love the ulua in hawaii
If u had 2 guess a percentage of snook which survive the fall what would it be
I think it depends on the size of them. The small fish weigh less, therefore endure less of an impact than the larger ones. I would say fish under 28" survive 90% of the time if not more. Large snook are usually released by being lowered in the net because we all believe they are more susceptible to dying from being dropped.
"Thanks Dad"😂😂😂😂😂
Had me cracking up when I played back the footage lol
+JunoRyan doesn't say much but when something is said its a zinger, roasts everyone
Cliff Seepersad Forreal! 😂
+JunoRyan no fucks given

Hey if you interested i have acouple rigs that we use off piers for thresher sharks in California that seem like they would work off Florida. These are cast able rigs for live bait or cut bait and go far and some keep the bait off the bottom and keep it suspended to your desired height. Im open to show you acouple and if you like what you see then you can try them for your self.
Daniel Rose ryan knows what to do
Keagan Van halter i was asking if he wanted to look at them i wasnt saying he doesnt know how to fish, calm down buddy😂😂
Daniel Rose always willing to learn new techniques my friend!
JunoRyan were can i contact you at?
Check the "About" section of my channel. you can find my email there.
but are they full of worms?
Really nice vid
Perhaps the fish could be walked to the shore and released into the water and not dropped from a height ?
Andrew Lines lmfao....
Andrew Lines lmfao
For your GoPro
Man spend 3 minutes you can get that knot lol
How come you didn't keep any of those fish? They did not look to be small. I am in Virginia by the way so I don't know the rules in Florida. Thanks and tight lines.
The Jacks don't have to be released, we just like to because they are great sport and bad eating. Same for the Barracuda. The snook are too small to keep. There is a slot for them in Florida.
Where in florida
Juno Beach!
There saying that jack is small and nice but that's the biggest jack I've ever seen
4:49 hitting a jack with an iphone...
The problem with saltwater fish is once you catch them you ain't gonna want catch freshwater no more

Put the fish back in the basket and lower it down.
I'll cut it it up and throw it in my freezer
Sushi night! Jack carvel a awsome
Phil Gali no
Phil Gali wooooo!
I hate Jack Crevalle, they are the piranha of salt water. They school in groups of hundreds, wiping out everything in their path. When they banned the nets, they should have let fishermen keep catching Jacks because sports fish would have become very bountiful.
