The grey bucket with the handle is for separating your trash. I have 6 more square ones in a big drawer under my kitchen sink. In Sweden we separate our trash and recycle it. I separate plastic, glass, metal, cardboard, paper and organic waste. Once a week or so we take it to a recycling station (we are only 2 in our household).🇸🇪
Oh ok! Thank you! Here we have large cans to put the recycling in and they pick it up on trash day. I compost my own kitchen scraps so that stays out of the landfill. I keep my glass jars to reuse for different things some of which are actual mason jars that I can use to can my own produce in. Recycling is a bit of a scam as I understand it. Most of that stuff winds up in landfills or dumped at sea, so it's really better to incorporate the waste into your lifestyle and limit the need to recycle or throw away anything. It's difficult, but a better long term impact. We need to shift from consumption to production, and this is difficult as the means of production is not high tech and it's rather dirty. But so rewarding!
@@PattymacMakes Yeah, I remember hearing that recycling in the US can be a bit of a scam. I'm from the US but have lived in Sweden for the past 12 years. And they really do recycle everything here. You can't walk up the street too long before you come to recycling bins. I don't think I've ever seen regular trash cans here. I guess that's a friendly tip for anyone thinking about visiting Sweden ... be prepared to separate your trash. It's really nice though and why Ikea sells those small trash bins =)
@@spacepuppie It's not difficult to do, for sure! Reducing waste over all is the real key and reusing what you can at home instead of the recycling is also key. In Wales we have kerbside recycling - so we separate our recycling into different containers, place them outside our house and they are collected by the Local Council every week.
Hello! I hope my quick note finds you well and happy. I spent the day in my sewing room making scrap string baskets for my daughter's business. Now I get the treat of watching you! I hope you have a glorious week ahead! Thank you for sharing your time, talent and videos!
I'm fortunate to live 20 min from an IKEA, it's quite an experience. My daughter and I go a few times a year. My husband isn't allowed with me ever again he won't follow the arrows..he wants get what he wants and leave. So much awesomeness to see !!
It's so fun to walk through and enjoy it. I love the rooms they set up as vingettes. My favorite is the 610 square foot house design. It's my dream house!!
Glad you are planning ahead with your ability to get food. Everyone needs to do what you did and plan to have food for an extended period of time. A years worth of food we rotate through in our homes would save so much stress with the increase of prices. I feed my dogs a bunch of veggies and have had the hardest time getting them at Costco (medley mix, cabbage heads). I plan to grow a garden full of cabbage this summer to freeze for them. Having a dehydrator would be even better to do what you did. I’m in Alaska and we do not have IKEA here but I enjoyed watching what you looked at. Take care and keep on planning for a rainy day.
Thank you Kathy! I agree having an extended pantry to carry you along for a long period of time is critically important. People dismiss it and it's detrimental. The cost of everything is so high now, that if I didn't have put away what I put away, I would have trouble keeping us fed. And I am growing everything I can to minimize buying produce in the store. I haven't found it as easy to get my lettuce going as people like to say, but once it establishes it does really well. I have a Cosori dehydrator and I did my own potato slices last year which are really good. I want to start growing my own mushrooms and I figure I can dry those, too. Ikea is a huge blessing, and I'm so ready to go back again for another visit! You might want to consider a heated green house or some sort of indoor grow set up so you can extend your growing season and have more variety of produce. Alaska is a tough climate to garden in!
I have a great hack for the jonaxel. I run a prayer quilt ministry, and we needed multiple sewing stations. We have 4 of them spaced out along a long wall, and we cut and finished plywood, to make table tops, we now have 3 complete sewing stations and each station has its own set of drawers and supplies. It is the perfect table top height for a work station. this could also work for an office desk at home, and I bet they have table tops you can buy and use as well.
That is an amazing tip!! Thank you so much for sharing with us. This is a prime example of what I love about Ikea. It is so flexible and can be made in to whatever someone needs the most!
IKEA is such a great place to get ideas and for young people just starting out. We started there 30+ yrs ago. When it became time for our kids to venture out of the nest, this is where we went.
I also bought Ikea pieces when I got into my first apartment 30 some years ago!! I figure this stuff will certainly last me as long as I need it. And it's great to use and easy to keep clean.
Something i started recently is i put a clear plastic candy jar from the dollar tree next to my sewing machine to put scraps into. Its turning out to be such a cute little addition to my desk.
i HEART ikea too! PLUS, i have bought ALL of your recommended items and furniture pieces. because....PMM recommended those. AND i LOVE all of them, thank you PMM!!
I agree, this is a great "how to shop at IKEA" tutorial video! Though I have been there several times myself, I understand it can be confusing and/or overwhelming at first!!! Great job, @pattyMac, I think this video will help lots of people in several ways.
Yes I like the video of IKEA. I have only been to one 1 time. I forget what a great store it is. So it reminds me to go there more often. And your place looks great and very organized. I really like IKEA , it is just not close . So I tend to forget about it. No more after seeing your video. Thanks . Have a great day.😊
We used to have to do the same thing! Stay overnight and it makes it more enjoyable and really fun. If you know you want specific items I would suggest you check availability on the app and if it’s low in stock but it ahead and pick it up. Then you won’t be disappointed
Little fun fact about the names at IKEA: each group has a “theme”. Garden furniture has names of Swedish islands, book shelves are named after jobs or beds are named after Norwegian cities. And since the danish and Swedish people like to tease each other, all rugs and door mats have names of danish cities 😅
Oh how interesting!! I'm definitely going to save this bit of trivia and share it in the next video I do while visiting Ikea which I'm expecting to film on Monday.
Oh I'm glad to hear that! If you can make a trip there, I do recommend it, but I understand not everyone has that access. I'm so grateful we have one right here.
Who doesn’t love a trip to IKEA?! Thank you for taking us along. It’s been awhile for me, and you showed some items I’ve not seen before. My sewing room is 95% IKEA. Looks like a trip is in order😊
Loved the store tour and ideas of the carts and containers. I’m not good at looking at something and saying what I can do with it. Would love you to tour again with all the ideas of tables, drawers, containers and everything good for crafting ing use!
I liked your shopping trip. Good job!! I lived near an IKEA for years. Good idea for me to check out online items now that I live in a more rural area. Thanks for reminding me. Keep up the good work Patty❤
Thank you for the ideas. Your video helped me figure out a better wall system for my zippers (I don’t like what I currently have and have been trying to figure out something better for 1 1/2 years!)
Thanks for taking us inside your Ikea store and explaining how to find items in the warehouse. I've never been as the closest store is a couple hours away, but I hope to make it here someday!
It's a really fun day trip with a 2 hour drive. They have a cafe so the next time I go over I'll plan my time to have lunch in there to show that to every one. I never see anyone stopping to enjoy lunch.
I have the same white desk everyone has from Ikea with the drawers on the sides. It makes the best sewing station for me. I even purchased Ikea silverware trays and they fit in the drawers sideways and sit on the lip of the drawers, and you still have storage under the tray.. the tray sitting on the lip of the drawer doesn't prohibit you from closing the drawers. I know that sounds confusing but it's the best space saver!!
Well great minds must think alike, because I've used the same organizers for sorting scraps! I love your tip about the desk with drawers as a sewing station. I'm assuming it's the one with the Alex drawers??? I'm going back to Ikea and have a look at making other suggestions for sewing tables and I would love to include your set up in the video. (I'm finally going to buy a new phone so I can take decent looking video when I go out and about.) Thank you so much for sharing!
Oh! I have got to get out to Virginia Beach and visit the IKEA store. I really need some extra shelf thing in my kitchen pantry. Also looking for a small container with sections to use at my machine. I have a container but it’s with no sections and I usually end up having to dump it to find what I need. I think when we get back from vacation I will drag hubby to IKEA.
They have so many doo dads I’m sure you can find something your like that works. I think it’s a fun store to visit so you should definitely go check it out!
New subbie here! Going on a trip this week and will be going to Ikea for the first time. Can't wait to see everything in real life! 🙂 I love the jars so much. They would be great for my dried beans.
Patty, I just love your heart. You never ever make your viewers feel like you want something. ( I hope you understand what im trying to say 🤔) That was an awesome video!! So fun and informative. Thank you
That was a fun shopping spree. It’s always fun to see what is out there and how to use it. I am in a very rural area with the closest town of 5,000 people is about 35 miles away. No shopping there, (WalMart is it) but the city is only 140 miles away and I do go there two or three times a year. But I have no idea if there is an IKEA store. I’ll have to look it up and see. I hate going to the city, the traffic is just awful, but I have a favorite fabric store, and I stock up when I go! You have so many great ideas and tips on organization. I simply must get busy and organize my sewing room, and you are the motivating factor! Thank you.
Thanks for that wonderful feedback Jodi! I lived rural for about 7 years, and some things I loved, but other things I didn't. The driving made me crazy, and it was too much for me. I also take care of my mother and there's no way I can manage her in that situation anymore. We are back in town, and while I do love it, I also kind of wish I was way out in the boondocks right about now. People do seem to enjoy the shopping style videos so I'm going to work on doing more of them. It's a fun break from what's otherwise a LOT of really bad news. And we all need that mental break for it.
I was close-ish with your jar of greens! I immediately though of catnip as I have a jar of it for my cat. I wouldn't like that in my smoothies though!!
I loved your video! IKEA is my fav place but I live 140miles away! However I haven’t been there since before the pandemic! Thank you for sharing with all of sew/quilters!! What are the names of your sweet horses? Great idea about the Spinach. My next trip will be to include jars and other freeze dried items!!! Tytytyvm for your videos! ❤❤🫶🏻😊🤗
Well you should plan a fun over night trip to visit! I'm over due to visit ours and expect to go back in another week or so.Thank you so much for watching and leaving such a nice comment! The spinach I got from Augason farms on amazon. I should add a link for it!
Interesting to visit Ikea. I have never been in one but I hear it's a great experience. Maybe one day I'll go. Looks like you got a lot of nice things while there.
Great video and info on how you plan to use things but I would love to see how you have actually incorporated your purchases into your space. I am visual and more ideas start popping as I see things in use. 🙌
Thanks for the suggestion Sheryl! Someone else requested the same thing, so I will work on that for you! It's great idea, and I will work on it right away.
Brilliant vid Patty. Keep them coming. You are totally natural and absolutely brilliant at vids. Just found your vid today for the first time....... so I look forward to being in your sewing room for much more inspiration. You are a gem! Love from Aus 💜💜💜🧥🧥🧥👚👚👚👕👕👕🩳🩳🩳
Welcome aboard! Thank you so much Trudy! There are several videos showing the sewing room and different fabric hauls and I hope you find videos both informative and entertaining.
Thank you for the tour. I've never been to an Ikea since we don't have one in our area. Being able to have something shipped is great. Maybe I can get something now.
I appreciate you watching!! I am going to see if I can get back over there again next week. It's been almost a year since I've been there, and it's definitely time to return!
Wonderful video, Patty--you did a great job of filming! I haven't been to IKEA yet as the closest one to me is 250 miles away, so thanks for "taking me along"! 😁
Thank you!! I love horses!! Anything farming to be honest....though I'm not rustic enough to call myself a farmer. I am excited about growing a beautiful kitchen garden this year!
LOVE IT! I'm surprised how those containers are so inexpensive! You're right the gray ones are not appealing at all. 🙂 The teal cart is cute! You did a great job. I got to see the specific items and the price which is awesome. I'm bummed there's no IKEA near here that I can go to in person. But seeing your video, I am encouraged to check online! take care, hope you have a good weekend.
Thank you for that feedback!! I really like their organizers. I’ll do a video showing how I use everything. I do think you can mail order the small items so definitely look into it.
I used two IKEA plain dressers for storing my fabric. To strengthen for the weight of the fabric my husband glued all supports. They have have been up with no problem for 15 years.
That's a great idea!! And also a great tip on adding wood glue to strengthen the furniture. I absolutely love my Ikea furniture and people who are critical of it have probably not used any of it. Thanks for your comment!
Thank you for the heads up on the Hogsma. I have two raskog carts and I was able to order the tops. Our IKEA is 2 hours away and prepandemic I loved going every so often but our store has been so bare the last few times because of the pandemic. Luckily I got the drop leaf table right before the lock down and it is the perfect table in my sewing room. I have so much ikea furniture. 🤣
Oh my gosh, you will LOVE the Hogsma. It's a small thing but it makes such a difference. I need to redo my office trolley when I get to the spring cleaning...probably next month after the worst of the pollen is over. The store here is hit or miss, and what's in now it a LOT more expensive, so I'm glad I'm not in the immediate market for any furniture. It's not going to improve any time soon which is sad. Very sad. I'm so glad I took the chance on my Norden when I had the chance. It's been such a great sewing table.
Thank you for your in-store video. I enjoyed it very much. I actually have been looking online at some IKEA cabinets. I have only been in IKEA twice I think and one time was just to get some food with my daughter from their food court. So it was interesting to me to see how it works, and I appreciate that. I am not far from an IKEA store, so perhaps I will have to make a trip there now!
Thank you for the in-store video! I am definitely planning a trip now! Your coughspinachcough looks gorgeous in the jar! Next #10 can I open is going in a pretty jar too!!!
In Ontario Canada there is a pick up location 1 hour away from ikea so that is very handy. Does cost I think $5-9 charge but way cheaper than their shipping charges. They used to charge $10 and now it’s tripled. Loved your video. I always get overwhelmed going to ikea. Actually any big store …squirrell!😳
LOL!! I can relate. It's sensory overload so I'm exhausted when I come home. And yeah that's cheaper than shipping for sure. The cost of everything is just ridiculous at this point.
Thanks for your reply patti. I’m excited I’m finally getting a creating space of my own. I’m looking for ideas and I’m new to your channel. Baby poop brown made me laugh. I’m a retired Nicu nurse. So funny!! Spot on 🤣
Hey, great video and fun to hear you pronounce the names, I am Swedish :) and I just got into sewing. So I need these types of videos, tack så mycket (thanks very much :)
Thank you so much Morgana! The Swedish language is so interesting to me ,and I love learning about your beautiful country and culture. And do love Ikea and how it streamlines a small living space. Now is a great time to learn how to sew. Both to make repairs to existing clothing and housewares but also to sew quilts and blankets and items like that for getting through the winter. Tack för att du tittade och trevligt att träffa dig! (I hope that's correct as I used google translate.)
My guess was basil in jar.We call it Olive green but I will never see it the same again😊.It was a great trip out. Thank you. I was wrong spinach best way also saves any prep.
Thank you for this. There isn't an IKEA in my town, so I have never been to one, but I'm making a trip to another town next weekend, and am planning to visit the IKEA there. Now I'm a little more aware of what it's like!
Thank you Jean!! I'm a little slow on getting full length videos up right now due to some personal things....but I will get back to them. In the meantime I've been posting shorts.
I became a Thrive Life Foods consultant in 2018 and have been building my freeze dried pantry ever since. Last year I bought a bigger dehydrator and started making 'just add water' jar meals. When I got to around 100 I eased off on that. I store my FD/DH food in half gallon Mason jars after I open a can. I love being able to see the pretty colors and how much is left.
Oh so nice to meet you! I have made scalloped potatoes and soup from my dehydrated potatoes and other food storage. But I would love try a few just add water type of meals. Did you follow recipes for that or do you have your own? I'm having a vitamix shake tonight and used the freeze dried spinach in the smoothie and it's absolutely delicious. I have found I really like using dehydrated and freeze dried foods. And yes! Everything is prettier in a glass mason jar!! LOL!!
@@PattymacMakes where did you buy your freeze dried spinach? I love your video I will be glad when the weather is better so I can go to Ikea. It is 4 hours away and there have been crazy snow storms how we go there.
@@joygross Thanks Joy! We've been so blessed here so far this winter. It's been like early spring so I'm getting in as much yard and garden cleanup as possible now so it's less later. But cold supposedly returning next week. It will be a good time to go back to Ikea! I get my freeze dried food from Augason Farms. I've purchased some from Amazon and some from HSN. I have quite a few things from them and I have like everything I've tried out!
Can you do a video tour of local quilt shops? Love Ikea. You gotta use a little Yankee ingenuity in getting some of those heavy boxes on the warehouse shelves onto your trolly and then into your car when you don’t have help.
So true!! 😂😂 I went back and wound up getting a new office chair that was on close out. There is only one local shop here that’s a quilt store which is why I go to Joann so often and order online. There is a fabric store on the other side of town I haven’t been to yet so I need to check them out. And a couple other Joann stores that are larger than my usual store. I don’t go to the small quilt shop because she’s still enforcing masks and I don’t support businesses still doing that. Everything is open here and case counts are virtually zero so I think it’s ridiculous. She’s the only business I know of here still doing that. I know it’s controversial but I live in a free state and I have a choice about masking as well as where I spend time and money as she has the right to make requests of her guests. So I won’t go to her shop until things change. Though to be honest she’s $15 and up a yard and I can do better for my money with fat quarter shop. Though if she dropped her mandate, I would definitely visit again. This is my personal choice and I’m grateful to still have that freedom. Maybe as summer wears on. I can call her and confirm whether it’s still the case or not but as of today it’s still posted on her website.
@@PattymacMakes I agree with you 100% about having to still wear a mask, the owner of the quilt store is most likely fearful. I live in MA and the only place I have to wear a mask is in healthcare establishments although I still see a lot of people wearing masks out and about.
@@PattymacMakes your Ikea is nicer than mine, I have to park in the underground basement and enter through the garage. I have ordered online and picked up at the store, that went well for large items because they go get them. I still had to put them in my car, the guy handed me the trolley and walked away. Chivalry is dead.
I'm really glad that you took us on an Ikea tour with you. I've never even seen an Ikea store, it I'd love to go to one. I'll see if I can shop online. Thanks again. (Where did you buy your freeze dried spinach?)
I’m really happy you enjoyed it Cindy!! I love going there. I get my Augason farms on Amazon in their store there. I should add a link! I didn’t realize it would be so popular
Love your IKEA tour as I’m always looking for ways to organize. You made me laugh when you showed that big bucket with lid in the ugly color. I’ve seen people use those to help organize their freezer chest. They keep meat in one, vegetables in another etc. Liked your idea about a specific container for scraps which I think I’m also going to use. Thanks for sharing!
That's a good idea in terms of using them to organize the chest freezer. Some people for Europe said they are used to separate the recycling but I get curbside pickup here so I don't worry too much about having small containers for my recycling items. I wound up doing something different with my scraps and I'll make a video about that today!
The grey buckets come in a variety of sizes and are part of a under-the-sink pull out trash system. You can pick the matching size for each kind of trash to make separating it easy.
The grey bucket with the handle is for separating your trash. I have 6 more square ones in a big drawer under my kitchen sink. In Sweden we separate our trash and recycle it. We used to have to do the same thing! Stay overnight and it makes it more enjoyable and really fun. If you know you want specific items I would suggest you check availability on the app and if it’s low in stock but it ahead and pick it up. Then you won’t be disappointed
@@PattymacMakes Well I have gone twice now...once to Kansas and once to Minnesota (live in Iowa). I am hooked!
@@jerihutchins7724 I completely understand!!! I definitely need to go back. I haven't been in probably 6 months.
How interesting!
Thanks I have never been to IKEA if I would order it helped me figure it out. Thank you so much.
Oh I'm glad to hear that! If you can make a trip there, I do recommend it, but I understand not everyone has that access. I'm so grateful we have one right here.
Thanks i have not been into a Ikea store for a long time, so I really enjoyed your trip, thanks for taking us with you.
You are so welcome! I'm hoping to get back over there SOON so expect an update!
Who doesn’t love a trip to IKEA?! Thank you for taking us along. It’s been awhile for me, and you showed some items I’ve not seen before. My sewing room is 95% IKEA. Looks like a trip is in order😊
It's been almost a year since I've been over and it's definitely time!
Loved the store tour and ideas of the carts and containers. I’m not good at looking at something and saying what I can do with it. Would love you to tour again with all the ideas of tables, drawers, containers and everything good for crafting ing use!
Thanks for that suggestion Deborah! It is on my list of things to make for the channel!
Thank you for sharing! I love IKEA products
Thank you Carrie!!! I love them too!
I love orange. I have always liked it. I had an orange coat in high school with a fizzy collar. 🤗
I knew someone that was Orange obsessed and it was SO MUCH. So I think I actually do like it but in smaller doses.
I just found you today on RUclips. I love your channel, you are my new favorite!❤️
Wow, thank you!
Thanks Patty love the tour of IKEA.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Came upon your video for the first time today. You seem like such a nice person. I subscribe
Thank you! I do my best!
I liked your shopping trip. Good job!! I lived near an IKEA for years. Good idea for me to check out online items now that I live in a more rural area. Thanks for reminding me. Keep up the good work Patty❤
Thank you Margaret!! It was enjoyable and I'm planning to go back again soon!
Love, love LOVED this video!! Thank you for sharing your take on some storage ideas!!!
Thank you Connie!
Thanks so much for all your tips!
You are so welcome!
I'd love to see how you are using the items to corral your scraps! Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!!! I will definitely show you how I use everything!! When i get a handle on my scraps I’ll show you what I’m doing.
Nice trip, Patty. I like that you can show us items without having to buy them. Thanks! From Cheryl in AZ
It’s funny we watch other people walk through and show store shelves so I decided to do my version. It’s a modern version of window shopping!
Thank you for the ideas. Your video helped me figure out a better wall system for my zippers (I don’t like what I currently have and have been trying to figure out something better for 1 1/2 years!)
I'm really happy it helped! I think it's a constant process to figure out where to put everything. I change stuff all the time.
Now I need to go to IKEA and shop. Soo many nice things. Love going shopping with you!
Thank you my dear friend!! They have so many things I love!!
I love your videos. Aside from everything I learn you make me laugh.
Thank you Kimberly! I appreciate you watching!
I would love to see these things at use in your house!
thanks for the suggestion Sara!! I was wondering what to make as a followup video to this one since so many people are finding me with this one.
I’m from the south so I recognized that specific color of green right off! 😆 Cool tour, thanks for bringing us along.
LOL!!! yeah Baby Sh*t green is true southernism! Thanks for watching!
@@PattymacMakes yes, I’d love to show you photos or vids of how my desk is set up and organized. How do I share that with you?
I just got the top for the utility cart. It really makes it look so neat and I use it to put my lunch or beverages on while I'm sewing.
I have one on my cart in my office. It really looks nice!! Well worth it!
I’m going to try the hack of attaching small ironing board on top, to make portable pressing area next to sewing machine.
OMG!! Well have a great time!! A visit to IKEA is always fun. Be sure to have lunch while you're there!
@@PattymacMakes Thank you! I will definitely be trying the Swedish meatballs when we're ready for a snack break!
Thank you for sharing your visit to Ikea. I haven’t been in a while. Very neat place.
You are so welcome
Patty,
I just love your heart. You never ever make your viewers feel like you want something. ( I hope you understand what im trying to say 🤔)
That was an awesome video!! So fun and informative.
Thank you
Oh thank you Annette!! Such a wonderful compliment. I’m so happy you feel like it’s fun and not pushy. I appreciate you watching and leaving comments!
Enjoyed your Ikea video. Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
I can see catnip!! It's not that bad actually. You don't even taste it, but it's nice to get the greens in
Thanks!
Oh my gosh Agnes!! Thank you so much!! I really do appreciate that!
Great video. Thanks for the tips.
Thank you for watching!!
Love idea...so many possibilities! That spinach is cool!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching. I love the Spinach!! So good
You did a wonderful job filming in the store and your voiceover was perfect. The baby sh*t green comment made you my new favorite RUclipsr
Thank you Carol! You're very kind! I really need to get back over there. It's been almost a year since I've visited now.
the big bucket is a trash can. I used to have them in my pull out trash drawer, loved them
Thank you for clarifying that!!
I always think it's a fun outing! I don't do very much anymore, so taking an afternoon to drive to Ikea and browse is a nice break for me.
You're welcome! They ship quite a few things so hopefully that works for you. I really do enjoy my products from them.
Loved you taking us to ikea
I appreciate you watching!! I am going to see if I can get back over there again next week. It's been almost a year since I've been there, and it's definitely time to return!
I loved it, you did a great job. I wish they had one in our area in north west Pa. Thank you so much.
Thanks Donna! It's a really fun store and I'm so grateful we have one here!
Wow, thanks! I thought you had to go to a store to buy their products! Didn’t realize I could have them shipped. Now I can get stuff!😊
Check it through the app to verify that but I’m pretty sure you can get some things shipped.
Wonderful video, Patty--you did a great job of filming! I haven't been to IKEA yet as the closest one to me is 250 miles away, so thanks for "taking me along"! 😁
Thank you so much! I'm really happy you enjoyed it. It's been a while so I think a revisit is in order!
Patty, I used to ride horses growing up!!! I loved the shopping trip :)
Thank you!! I love horses!! Anything farming to be honest....though I'm not rustic enough to call myself a farmer. I am excited about growing a beautiful kitchen garden this year!
I use the glad jars for ribbon and lace bundles, so I remember them.
That's a great use!
@@PattymacMakes thank you. I look forward to it. 🥳 Have a great weekend!
I have been to IKEA three times. Thanks for showing me the warehouse. I never knew how to shop there. Great job!😍
I’m really happy that helped!! I was overwhelmed the first time I went but now it’s pretty easy to find things.
Oh gosh!! Yes if you have one nearby, then you should definitely go back! I haven't been in almost a year now, so it's time for me to go back as well!
Thank you for the in-store video! I am definitely planning a trip now! Your coughspinachcough looks gorgeous in the jar! Next #10 can I open is going in a pretty jar too!!!
lol!! I love seeing that pretty spinach in the jars!! And it’s so good in the smoothies!!
dont forget to add an oxygen absorber
So funny!! Spot on 🤣
I love this video. It gave me some great ideas. Thank you.
I'm so glad!
That was fun! Thanks for sharing Patty
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the shopping trip! I love IKEA, but unfortunately the closest one to me is 4 hours away! Have a great weekend!
I can relate!! It was the same for me until this one opened here. I had not been in 30 years! Now I love to visit.
Oh boy do I need this!🤯
I"m really glad it helped!!
Love ikea. Great job with the public filming. It would have been nice to see your bins in use too!
Thank you!! And I will work on filming that next week for sure!
Thanks Patty, I didn't know they had so much stuff.
You're welcome Barbara! This is actually just small section of the store, but it does have A LOT in a small space.
I
Like IKEA. Such nice items.
I enjoy them too!
Loved it!!!
Thank you!
I stumbled onto your video today and you had me at Baby Sh!t Green. I just loved your video.
LOL!!! Thanks for watching!
My guess was basil in jar.We call it Olive green but I will never see it the same again😊.It was a great trip out. Thank you. I was wrong spinach best way also saves any prep.

I really enjoyed the trip to Ikea!!!
I'm so glad!
Thank you for this. There isn't an IKEA in my town, so I have never been to one, but I'm making a trip to another town next weekend, and am planning to visit the IKEA there. Now I'm a little more aware of what it's like!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy going!! I think it's a great store and I always enjoy my visit.
Just found your channel and enjoyed your video. I look forward to watching more of your content. 😊

Thank you!! It's always so fun to visit them!
I love Ikea. It’s my happy place. It drives my husband crazy.
LOL!!! Well if he enjoyed as much as you, I would be a little worried.
I have never shopped at IKEA either. The only one i have ever seen was in Bloomington MN.. and we didnt go in.
Great video! Never been 2 IKEA. Thank u for sure he tour.
@@lwosw5197 Thanks for watching!! I am so happy you enjoy it!
@@PattymacMakes Excellent look forward to seeing your idea.
The grey buckets come in a variety of sizes and are part of a under-the-sink pull out trash system. You can pick the matching size for each kind of trash to make separating it easy.
Thank you!!! I wondered what they were for!!
