There's an artist called Akihito Yoshitomi and the way he sketches circles consistently is by just breaking it into curve strokes instead of drawing the whole thing in one go
That's how I do it and it's easy and clean and works for me.

quick tip to draw a circle:
step 1. Draw a X
step 2. Draw your circle around that x
step 3. Erase and adjust until it's perfect!

If you're so desperate, you can try drawing a cross then connecting the edges to one another forming 4 equal quarter circles, thus resulting a roughly perfect circle. You can erase the cross afterwards, but personally i like to skip the cross and just make the quarters
