The strike sound effect from the Australian version of Family Feud is much better than that of the US version and has risen to meme status such that it is often used when someone makes an incorrect statement, gives a wrong answer, or even fails to perform an intended action. Eg. "Hey, how did Dazza go with that girl he was chatting up last night?" "Buh-bowm!" "Ooh, that bad, huh?"

It was neat having such a silly, unimportant thing in common.
Newton's Cradle of clapping
Corrections is the absolute best content on RUclips. I really think it might be a springboard for Seth Meyers. I am optimistic that he could even be as a famous as Mr. Beast one day.
It’s possible. I think he should start by giving us all free cars. That should get him trending.
Seth: Oh please, won’t you buy me, a Mercedes Benz. My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends.
My takeaway from the Late Night line of succession is we are going to have to arrange quite a big accident to make Wally the designated survivor... I am sure this can be arranged though.
Amber says what?
@@vforwombat9915 "whaaaat....the hell are you talking about!?" 😄
But you will have to go through Jim first!
I motion to make the wally figurine a part of the desk display. :)
Seconded
Third!
Just love this! So inclusive! It is a feel good show. Best way to start my weekend!
08:23 probably the best corrections line ever I don't know if I hit it but it's there
I happened to be working with the census bureau's baby name data set while watching this - did a quick query and in 2006, a solid Gen Z year, there were 1250 babies born named Keith.
Ben Franklin couldn't have fought with Jefferson at the Conference. According to a former leader and noted historian, Franklin was one of those busy guarding the airports from the British at the time.
I am 100% convince Shoemaker is the longest running gag ever. And whoever answered last week, is Seth's enabler for this fictitious character. 😊
Pence clapping 😂 how weird is that, love corrections, best way to end the week, well, here in Paris I watch it when I wake up Saturday morning, but I could never be a chacal (French spelling)
This one was funny af. Feel like Seth shouldve clarified he wasnt doing owen wilson though🤣
McDonalds really needs to bring back Mac Tonight just for Seth
I like how the Monologue & Closer Look have started to take on the vibe of Corrections.
I was expecting the gift for Wally to be a pillow for his meetings.
The laughter. After the over my head jets joke haha
With how much Seth has been obsessing over the McDonalds thing, I’m surprised they haven’t worked in a cameo from Doug Jones.
“Bad news bro. Those aren’t your kids.” 😮
I hope Shoemaker comes on screen for a Corrections someday.
And it's just Andy Samberg
If Schumacher was a Tyler Durden situation, that would make the "Gift of the Jaggi" especially tragic.
The thumbnail gave away the surprise.
I cant stop thinking about Pence's "Newtons cradle clap"
CORRECTION: ROBBERY is not the same thing as THEFT. If someone just comes in and steals stuff, it is just THEFT. ROBBERY is where someone batters or threatens the victim to take their stuff.
When the theft takes place and no one is home the crime is called “burglary.” Robbery is theft from a person.
I think robbery and burglary are types of theft, as is shoplifting
@@LindaC616 picture a Venn diagram. Theft is the big category. Robbery is a sub-category, burglary is a sub-category, shop-lifting is a sub-category, and embezzlement is a sub-category. Are there others? Plagiarism? Identity theft?…
@@LindaC616 Yes, theft is definitely a type of theft.
@@jb888888888 LOL, thanks for catching that! Internet is dodgy here on the island because of storms that are going through. What I meant was that robbery and burglary are. I'll correct it
I just gained an extra year of longevity because this made me laugh that hard! My blood pressure medication right here! Thank you and 👏 ❤😂
Seth came so close to calling the great Lawrence Olivier, Alex Guinness… when we all know it’s Alec. 👀👀
He was going to say Alex Keaton. A lot of people mix up Michael J Fox and Olivier.
It’s Alec Guinness
@@Wado8oda nobody mixes up Alec Guinness with Michael J Fox.
Isn't he properly Lord Olivier now?
@@S.Pociecha I think those honours die with the honouree. The lords that retain their titles are the ones who inherit them.
Tiny Wally!!😆
The strike sound effect from the Australian version of Family Feud is much better than that of the US version and has risen to meme status such that it is often used when someone makes an incorrect statement, gives a wrong answer, or even fails to perform an intended action.
Eg. "Hey, how did Dazza go with that girl he was chatting up last night?"
"Buh-bowm!"
"Ooh, that bad, huh?"
@Sean Williams I was really hoping it would be the hollering of an evicted koala.
It's simultaneously annoying, hilarious & adorable.
Best wrong answer sound is the coming-in-excited-sadly-walk-your-way-out from The Price Is Right, the old ones hosted by Bob Barker.
oh my god i'm aussie and i use "buh bowm" OFTEN and had now idea where that came from! thanks for enlightening me
As an American with Australian friends this comment further cements my belief that Australians don’t have real names. What is Dazza? Who is Locky? How are these names?
omg he is really claping that way ( be aware not referencing subject too closely😅) - I am from over the pond and do love all your shows daily dose of seth and correction - thank you for that happy moments you bring up in mostly sad everydays life!
The only correction you need to make is having the Sea Captain on every show!!!
