He not only didn't say that, he didn't say *who wrote the reply joke* either.

At this point I can usually tell who wrote it.
The level of laughter at Wally being called out for tardiness to the HR training brings me happiness I can't quite articulate.

@@humboldthammer Are you serious? Those with executive functioning issues find it extremely difficult to be on time. Nothing hostile or disrespectful about it. I can get up early, have everything ready, and still somehow I end up late. Though the up early part and everything ready doesn't happen very often. We struggle with it and try to improve. It isn't purposeful at all. I feel badly about it every time.
At the risk of betraying the sad state of my life, Corrections is easily the best part of my week!
Same, especially now that _Um, Actually's_ posting schedule has become more sporadic.

More than that, he said "Here's THE Thing." The hand character on the Addam's Family is just "Thing." "THE Thing" is a big rocky orange guy who fights with the Fantastic Four.

90s teen here. Every weekend we were poppin grays and listening to all the Verve bands. Thank you for the memories lol
People would ask us how they taste and we always told them they were bittersweet, symphony, this life.
So much better than when they made the grey froot loops. Those just tasted like standing outside a broken phone booth with money in my hand.
We were only freshmen at closing time.
As I recall, things could get pretty wild when my friends and I popped those grays. I'm sure that's what Marcy Playground was singing about too...
Corrections truly gets better and better every week. The callback to the 7 days from last week, the (what seemed to be) genuine callout to Wally showing up late, and then the absolute glee on Seth's face when he pulled out the M&Ms at the end....screw the Emmys, this is OSCAR WORTHY

Animal Flubs is the single greatest thing I've ever seen. Especially the intro seamlessly incorporating all five flubbed animals.
Flubs even sounds like a cute type of animal. "Flubs" are when baby animals are at their cutest.
Last week I avoided the doll curse by sending a screen shot to my kids with no context. For obvious reasons I can’t do that this week, so I guess I’ll have to send it to my ex-wife this week.
Probably should have started with that last week.
My favourite 3 things about living on the west coast:
1. Mild climate
2. Smell of the ocean
3. Getting to watch Corrections on Thursday night because of the 3 hour difference

Technically, his saying "see me next week" is a command. Commands (like questions) do not have a truth value. Hence, there can be no correction

1) If someone invites you to see them and then is not there when you arrive, that's a logical inconsistency, which could still be categorized as a storytelling *mistake.*
2) The phrase "See me next week," is a play on "See you next week." The latter phrase has an implied "I'll" at the beginning, and so it would follow that the former phrase has an implied "You'll" at the beginning. In that case, the full statement is "You'll see me next week," which is a statement of fact and not an imperative sentence.

How I fervently wish the rest of the show would be filmed in this format. Only staff as the audience, no edits, Seth chilling with a drink -- a well-appreciated atmosphere first developed near quarantine's end. Corrections has really refined the vibe to comedic perfection for RUclips viewers. It's a shame cable holds back progress for a funnier Late Night because it needs to fit an old medium's restrictions, but I wonder what percentage of their revenue comes from streaming these days.
Not in the "lion's share- I will be 70 this year. Seth, you're my favorite late show comedian. My cat, Henry and I watch you every morning. Thanks for being there for us.
I'm 67 and I have breakfast with Seth every morning when I watch the show recorded the previous night.

Ok guys I needed to write this to let you all know….. that animal flub jingle almost killed me. 😂😂😂😂😂
the thing here is that you're still WAY OFF with the radioactive capsule animal flub. Quokkas (pronounced KWOCK-ahs with 'ock' as in lock) are still about 740 miles away from where the radioactive capsule was found. Really you should have used either dingoes or perenties (pur-ENT-ees - an already massive lizard that would basically become Godzilla)
But a giant quokka would be so cute - and that would be funny. Although hearing Seth say dingo would also be funny.
@@amberhale2410 if its a Quokka from down near Albany (5 hours drive even further south than rottnest) then it might be cute, but the Rottnest ones are suuuuuuper inbred and diseased and totally unafraid of humans because they get fed all the time so you know they'd be gross
And this whole story is way off what Cesium-137 would do to a mammal body in such a low dosage. There's no chance of "Spider-Man" super powers, you would just get sick.

- Second, quokkas are incredibly friendly animals so would never attack humans, and
- Third, they're pretty much only found on Rottnest Island (small island ~11 miles off the coast) and the truck that lost the radioactive capsule did not leave the mainland so a quokka would have no access. One of those really muscly kangaroos would have been a better animal to choose.

Actually, there are some quokkas somewhere north-ish in WA. Afraid I am too lazy to look where, but I hear they’re heaps less fun than the Rotto quokkas, so what’s the point?
@@lono285 yeah there’s some in the perth hills as well i think but they’re few in number and, like you said, not has fun as the rotto quokkas anyway
