Just as a suggestion, when you want to test a tower on a custom map like this one, you can put some walls to block the Super Monkey vision so it doesn't steal pops
I wanna see one for like, Glaive lord. Mathematically make the biggest circle you can make where the radial glaives touch ceramics, with a visual indicator to get a precise placement every time
You should make a series where you test towers at their ideal map (tack shooters shoot in a circle so you would make the map a circle) etc. Super buff them and see how far they get
Yeah, I'd love to see that too but it'll be great if he also used true super buffs from that one mod he always uses, so it'll be more reliable and comparable to the other test.

2:30 for me, crossbow master is quite nice in contested territory. It’s a cheap tier 5 that can pop all bloon types, and can kill most things till the 80s. There’s still usually a better option, but cbow has its moments for some tiles

Attack speed upgrades scale with buffs better. The temple already gives base pierce and damage, so getting more attacks that make use of those buffs is better. If it was just an unbuffed crossbow master, pierce would probably be better, but buffs shift the preferred crosspath.
I think you should do maximum degree 100 Paragon's on the longest map, because you did Boat paragon last time, which has a limit on the ability, whereas one like the wizard could potentially have his ability multiple times per round, which is probably more significant than only taking out 2 f BADs
Hes already getting an insane amount of pierce from outside sources so the pierce from that would be worse dps wise even if it was being peirce capped all the time
Primary Expertise adds 10 rounds, unironically. Also, perma brew is VERY important bc u legit only have like 25% uptime on buffs without it. Missing Glue Storm and Super Brittle are huge too.

Even though the first straight line is where most of the dps comes, the range can also output dps later and can put some decent dps to super ceramics if in a straight line, and it gets to use its pierce well at round 80+ (though you might wanna have some actual clearing too)
I like the Crossbow Master too. He played a crucial role in my grind for that 15 Chimps medals achievement along with the Spectre and Sky Shredder. He's insane on easy maps where can reach literally everything due to his ludicrous range when buffed enough.
I was thinking of this sort of “Ideal maps for towers” thing for a while, I ended up coming up with a map that perfectly suits all Druid paths without being too ridiculous. It’s a dual lane mostly straight path for Druid of the Storm to sweep with a square in the middle that perfectly fits 6 druids and Obyn, and another square at the back that fits a spirit of the forest and 8 farms.
I do think you're being harsh on the tower here - it's a very cost efficient tower with full bloon coverage and good range. That's valuable for a lot of reasons. The biggest flaw with it is that sharpshooter is weak and doesn't get you to xbowmaster even with buffs, so you need another tower like it that has a complementary gap in its strength - and most other towers have had those gaps closed nowadays.
It would be cool if NK buffed the crossbow master, maybe something like giving each shot +2 damage every time it pierces. It would also maybe balance the crosspaths and would synergize really well with the crits as long as you use him strategically.

My thing with the support temple possibly doing damage is that there is no situation ever where you will have the sun temple buff without the actual temple, so in a way you could consider the sun temple damage being “part of the buff”
I normally use crossbow master for waves 60-80 in boss events with a 3-0-0 village and 4-0-0 alch there is probably something way easier however i havent bothered looked yet nevermind just remembered I do it for paragon pops when i use it
I think you're underrating xbows. It hits a useful point of being one of the best towers in the 20-25k price range. If I can't afford a 35k tower like druid or heli, but can afford an xbow, I will almost always chose it over multiple tier 4 towers instead, and most other tier 5s at the same price point are high on niche but low on damage.
So, the Crossbow Master. Solid tower on many maps, for a few reasons. Firstly, very cheap for a 5th tier. Low price is always good because it means you can get them relatively early. Second, excellent range. with some relatively cheap buffs and with good positioning, a Crossbow Master can hit most of a map fairly easily. 3rd, can pop any balloon type and has okay damage. These three factors make it a great mid-game tower where it can just mind the shop while you get your economy or late game towers set up, since once the Crossbow Master is up you really don't have to worry about much until about round 80.
You could put sight blocking in all spots other than where your main tower is, and straight lines to your buff tower so only the main is able to pop at all
Crossbow master basically cheeses all of the easy grade maps, Or atleast I think it does considering I've black boarded all of them with bassically double cross bow master/Alchemist and then like a boomerang or wizzard.
you should do chimps with monkey teams as a video. I like it because if forces you to use towers and upgrades that you don't usually use in a chimps game
i argue making the map that long doesn’t make sense because the dart monkey will never reach opposite ends, making the map shorter so that the crossbow master almost reaches the end would be very similar
2 0 5 crossbow masters with 5 2 0 alc's and 5 0 2 villages are basically unstoppable (Or use 4 0 2 village if u only want the cbm to have damage dealt)

Placing the Dart in the middle of the track probably creates much more DPS uptime, also putting walls to stop other towers from attacking.
2:13 made a map for optimizing pierce and got the attack speed upgrade
With Pierce upgrade he would have died to round 130 already to the bads
