If you want a really good counterweight , take some lead and put it in the pack , the additional weight will make the battery pack want to fall off so your gonna want to get some better Velcro and put a big strip on the back

You can't buy real ones unless you are with Mil or LE. If you are buying "real" ones without credentials they are either stolen federal property or fake (it really is not that hard to make fake functional versions if you make the rear lens and pack in gen 3 intensifier tubes inside)
