The fact he doesn't have a Bankai, as far as I recall, is also bonkers. Like absolutely he's strong even before the Hogyoku stuff and basically becoming an acended god. He just didn't need a Bankai. Or could be not get a Bankai? He puts in so much work into his plan and yet didn't have the patience or desire to unlock the true potential of his Zanpakto? Strange don't you think. But what if Kyoka Suigetsu and Aizen don't get along, imagine the personality a blade like Kyoka Suigetsu must have. Either a manipulator itself or maybe a soul innocently hiding itself away in fantasy. What does it say when a character has not been able to fully cooperate with their own soul as a partner. For all his boasting, unless he has Bankai and we never see it because he doesn't need to/it's antithetical to his style (Suifon), then he was still a very incomplete Shinigami when he ascended beyond Shinigami. His own fantasy perhaps.
He does... He did state he mastered all the four soul reaper techniques. His tremendous reiatsu back that up... I am of the belief that his bankai has a huge draw back he doesn't like, e.g. Perhaps it breaks all the hypnosis he has ever cast, that's why he does not use it, and he never really had to use it when he was already wiping the floor with everyone with his shikai
In a world where the power of your blade is a reflection of who you are and what you've been through, there's a lot to be said for what this power says about Aizen. There's a real-world equivalent to Kyoka Suigetsu. If you understand how the brain works, you too can control it to a certain extent. And most if not all manipulators and abusers rely on this in some form. Particularly those who coerce you into deliberately keeping yourself within their clutches. It is far more common than most think, and far easier to fall into than most are willing to admit. But some who've been through it do escape it, and that's what I want to talk about. Because again, Bleach is a world where your experiences shape your powers. And there is one person who Aizen has manipulated more than anyone else: The person closest to him, Hinamori. And you know what Hinamori does not yet have? A Bankai. Since so much of her life pivoted around this crucial betrayal, there's a very strong chance that if she were to unlock her Bankai now, it could very well have the power to overcome Aizen's illusions. All the more-so when her current captain also uses very illusion-heavy powers. I can absolutely see him being a good influence on her and helping her navigate the distortions without ever using them against her. Not only would it be a great lesson to show someone take back their power over their own senses, cutting through all the crap and seeing the world as it truly is, I also just plain and simple want to see my girl kick Aizen's ass for everything he put her through. That would be seriously cathartic. Give the clever strategist girl a win against the devious manipulator by firing off a multi-layered Kido trap, combined with the Bankai reveal of "you can't trick me anymore". And of course, capped off with a mega explosion in true Tobiume fashion. Would it kill him? Of course not. But let the man feel a bit of the pain he's inflicted on so many others. Quite frankly, in my selfish view, the series is not complete until this happens.

In DEATH BATTLE, Madara could overcome Kyoka Suigetsu only by switching back and forth between his sharingan and rinnegan, both of which are designed to break out of illusions. Aizen, however, had no resistance to Shinji Hirako's shikai, and thus would have little to no defense against the genjutsu of the sharingan.
Kyoka Suigetsu isn't genjustsu ffs. The Naruto verse's fancy eyes are just simple, regular eyes again KS. And if we're using verse equalization then Aizen can literally negate everything Madara tried against him using his infamous Soi Fon feat.
Aizen would wipe madara dude, if Yhwach can’t see through Aizens Kyoka suigetsu and he can literally see all, future , past and present what makes you think a rinnegan could see through it
if you watched the battle in anime, Aizen admitted that he had previously manipulated Hirako shinji's senses before shnji released his shikai. Thats why Aizen had no wounds when he squared off against the Gotei 13 all at once.

His Bankai must have a terrible weakness, maybe it releases everyone he has ever had under Kyoka Suigetsu for example
